Kemono Friends is a popular anime that depicts the laid-back adventures of a group of animal girls in a mysterious world. The series remains as popular as ever, and a new anime series has just been announced. Among the Kemono Friends, Fennec is a particularly popular character with a laid-back personality and laid-back attitude. We'll introduce you to this mysteriously charming Fennec.
The Always Sleepy Fennec Fox

This Friend has distinctive triangular ears and a fluffy tail, and is generally pale in color. For some reason, his eyes are half-open, giving him a sleepy expression (though he doesn't actually want to sleep). He has a laid-back, laid-back personality. It is classified as a member of the Canidae family, Genus Vulpes, Order Carnivora. It is a small animal, measuring 30-40cm in length, 20cm in height, and weighing 1-2kg. However, it is characterized by its long ears, about 10cm long compared to its body. It inhabits the desert regions of northern Africa. They live in burrows they dig in the ground. They are omnivorous, eating meat, bird eggs, insects, fruit, and more.

They call the raccoon "Arai-san" and always travel together. They have appeared together since their first appearance in Episode 1, Part C. Arai, who is searching for the hat thief (Kaban-chan), believing that the park is in danger, is a kindhearted person who accompanies him, even though he thinks it's just another misunderstanding.

The reason the two set out on this journey is to retrieve their hat and prevent the park from being threatened by the hat thief. Arai-san begins to respect "Kaban-san" as he follows Kaban and Serval and solves various problems for the Friends wherever they go. However, Fennec fox realizes early on that the hat thief and Kaban-san are the same person, but he doesn't tell Arai-san and continues to tag along on their journey with interest.

Always Calm

Although Fennec Fox has a laid-back personality, he's actually a calm and intelligent Friend. While Arai-san jumps into a fast-flowing river and drowns, Kaban-chan finds the bridge he built and safely crosses it. When climbing a mountain, he finds the ropeway and easily climbs to the top. Compared to the reckless Arai-san, Kaban-chan is observant and quick-witted.

Fennec Fox is a calm, observant fox, so he seems to be smarter than the other Friends. During her journey, she learned to orient herself by observing the stars, and understood the four cardinal directions. In episode 11 of the anime, she used this skill to stop the Sandstar Law from erupting.

She's also a hard worker, always looking out for those around her, taking care of them in place of Arai, who is always causing trouble for them. He even told Kaban to apologize properly after she caused trouble due to Arai's misunderstanding. He might even enjoy that... He's also a rare, thoughtful friend, instructing Serval to take Kaban away so he can have an opportunity to modify the bus.

Like Serval, Fennec is often a central character in the series and frequently appears in the media. While he has little to do with Kaban, he is key to solving the story's mysteries. Although he's laid-back, he's also intelligent and sensible among the Friends, whose personalities are quite strong. He balances out the often-out-of-control characters like Serval and Arai. She also has a thoughtful side, so I hope she will appear in the new series and act as a big sister figure watching over the two reckless characters alongside Shikaban.
