The story follows the struggle to defeat Nemesis, a monster that exists in this world, as they head to Radiant, the legendary nest of Nemesis. While this is a typical shounen manga, it also contains deep, weighty themes and is very serious and thought-provoking. In this world, wizards are ostracized and discriminated against by others. This article introduces 10 of the anime's best scenes (as of December 18, 2018). So, although there are many other great scenes besides the ones I've introduced, I will only cover those from the anime. Also, I will be explaining lines and scenes, so there will be spoilers. Please be careful! Now, let's start with the top 10.
Radiant's Top 10 Famous Scenes - Gratitude

The top 10 highlights include the moment when Alma defeated Nemesis, saving the residents of Pompo Hills from a life-or-death situation. Alma had defeated many Nemesis up until that point, but she had never received any thanks. However, Tommy smiled and honestly said, "Thank you for helping me," showing an innocent emotion free from exclusion or discrimination. This kind of emotion is rare in this world. It's a very heartwarming and memorable scene.
Radiant's Top 9 Best Scenes: Battle

The top 9 scenes feature Dogranov and his party, who bravely confronted Nemesis without succumbing to his fear. Although he normally only repairs and cleans ships, not the typical work of an Inquisitor, his teamwork and courage are stronger than anyone else's when the time comes. He's not a magician, so he can never defeat them, but he can protect the city. Although he's an enemy to Seto, his sense of justice is also pretty cool. It was an exciting and memorable scene!

Surprisingly, the top 8 is this famous scene in which Doc flies into the sky. Doc is now known for his comedic side, but he often gets sent flying into the sky. And he always says, "I'll Be Back." This scene always makes me laugh (lol). This touch is also really fun. Radiant has some touching moments, but it also has a lot of hilarious moments that will make your stomach churn!

Top 7 is Seto in a desperate situation. Needless to say, Seto is in a desperate situation as he fights alone against the powerful enemy Nemesis. However, Seto bravely stands up to the enemy and deflects the powerful beam! This famous scene gave me chills. Although Seto was weak and ran away, in the end he fought Nemesis on equal terms and won. As expected, the battle scenes are thrilling!
Radiant's Top 6 Best Scenes: Saving Others

From Seto and Alma's past, the top 6 scenes feature Alma's cool rescue of Seto from villagers who were trying to kill him. When Seto is being lynched by village children, he instinctively uses magic. When the villagers find out about this and tie Seto to a tree to burn him, Alma makes a cool appearance. The frightened expressions on the villagers' faces are refreshing. Seto had a very scary past, but this incident made Alma vow to protect him. It was a touching and memorable scene that deepened the bond between the two!

Top 6 is Seto, who smiles and saves the residents of Pompo Hills, who were deceived and abandoned by the Brave Cultette. I was really touched when Seto said with a carefree smile, "I won't abandon you," to reassure the residents who were tied up and unable to move. I'm sure everyone thought Nemesis was going to take them out at that moment. Perhaps Seto thought the same. Seto is able to laugh in such a dire situation, which shows he is very strong-willed and collected. It's a cool and memorable scene!
Radiant's Top 4 Famous Scenes: It Doesn't Matter If They're the Enemy

Seto was forbidden to use magic for a while by a promise he made to Yaga, an elderly wizard he met at Artemis Academy. If he broke that promise, Yaga would no longer be able to teach him magic. This would make his path to becoming a Radiant even more difficult. However, the top four memorable scenes include one where he unhesitantly breaks his promise to save the leader of the enemy, the Brave Cultet! "That's none of my business!" says Seto as he saves the enemy he was fighting just moments ago, and it's easy to mistakenly believe he's in a position that has nothing to do with the exclusion and discrimination that are the themes of [Radiant]. This is a memorable scene that really touches us with Seto's straightforwardness.
Radiant's Top 3 Famous Scenes: Nemesis Hunter

Top 3 scenes feature Seto, who declares his intention to become a Nemesis Hunter and defeat Nemesis. After battling Nemesis and experiencing its terror and overwhelming strength, Seto is determined to defeat it. He then tells Alma that he wants to become a Nemesis Hunter and eliminate Nemesis. At this point, Alma and Seto get into an argument, but we can understand Seto's unwavering feelings and stubbornness. Seto can be reckless at times, but his strong will to protect the people he has mistreated until now and to become a cool wizard is very cool.
Radiant's Top 2 Famous Scenes: Changing the World

Top 2 is Seto, who realizes that if he doesn't not only defeat Nemesis but also change the world, magicians will continue to be ostracized. Only magicians can defeat Nemesis, and many magicians have saved people up until now. However, he declares that he will change the way people who continue to discriminate against him without any gratitude think, and in other words, change the world. Even Yaga is astounded by Seto's extraordinary ambitions, as he is still a teenager and a wizard himself, but is convinced by his strong will and ends up supporting him. There is no hesitation in Seto's eyes. It's a great scene that makes us look forward to the great adventures to come!
Radiant's Top 1 Best Scene: Farewell

The top scene is, of course, the touching farewell scene between Alma and Seto! No matter how many times I watch it, it always brings me to tears. The two are not related by blood, and Alma doesn't remember why she helped Seto or how they first met. (Alma has lost her memory as a result of the aftereffects of the battle with Nemesis) However, they eventually become important to each other, and although they argue, they trust each other very much. The parting of these two, who are in a master-disciple relationship and also parent and child, is bound to make you cry. Here is the scene where Seto acts spoiled for the first time. It was so touching!
