Synopsis Part 1: Kamen Rider W/Prologue
Detective Soukichi Narumi of the Narumi Detective Agency and his apprentice, Shotaro Hidari, are tasked with rescuing a mysterious boy held captive by a certain organization. However, due to resistance from the organization, Soukichi is shot and killed, and Shotaro finds himself in dire straits. The mysterious boy then asks the mysterious Shotaro, "Do you have the courage to ride with the devil?" With no other choice left, Shotaro accepts the boy's proposal, takes the boy's belt and memory, and transforms into Kamen Rider.
Synopsis Part 2: The Two Detectives/Akiko Enter
One year later, Akiko Narumi, the daughter of Soukichi Narumi, arrives in the windy city of Fuuto to close her office. As the couple argue over an eviction request, a client appears before them. Shotaro and Akiko begin their investigation, leading them to the dark side of Gaia Memories and Dopants lurking in Fuuto. Also, another mysterious boy with amnesia is staying at the detective agency. His name is Philip, the boy whom Soukichi and Shotaro risked their lives to save. Philip had the ability to access a space within his brain known as the "Earth's Bookshelf," a bookshelf containing all events on Earth, and retrieve any information by searching for keywords.
Synopsis Part 3: Darkness Lurking in Fuuto / Gaia Memory
In Fuuto, an organization called the Museum distributes Gaia Memories to the public. Gaia Memories contain data about events on Earth and are devices that can be connected to the human body. Those connected to a Gaia Memory become superhumans called Dopants, able to wield supernatural powers. However, they are highly toxic to the human body, especially the mind, and pose a risk of going out of control and threatening those around them. This item was a dangerous threat to the peace and order of Wind City.
Synopsis Part 4: The Transforming W/Dopant
While working on a case as a detective, Shotaro encounters a Dopant and uses the Gaia Memory to fight it. Using a filter called a Driver (transformation belt), he can neutralize the Gaia Memory's toxicity. By transforming, Shotaro becomes Kamen Rider W, but this requires the power of not only Shotaro but also Philip. Kamen Rider W is a single Kamen Rider.
Synopsis Part 5: Ryu Terui Appears! /Accel
Shotaro gathers information on foot, and Philip uses that information to search "Earth's Bookshelf." As the two solve cases in this way, a certain man appears before them. His name is Ryu Terui, an elite police officer at Fuuto Police Station. For some reason, Terui knows Shotaro and Philip. Terui is, so to speak, another Kamen Rider: Kamen Rider Accel.
Synopsis Part 6: No Questions/Terui Ryu's Past
Terui Ryu is a man of exceptional talent as a warrior. He transforms into Accel with the Driver given to him by his ally, Shroud, and is a powerful warrior who can defeat Dopants with overwhelming force. However, he also has a stronger than average hatred for Dopants, which often leads to conflicts with Shotaro. However, there is a big reason for this. The true culprit behind the murder of Ryu Terui's family was a doctor named Shinkuro Isaka. Isaka secretly pursued the power of the Gaia Memory, continuing his research driven by his own desires. However, his abilities were on a completely different level to those Shotaro and Terui had faced up to that point. Isaka's Weather Dopant's overwhelming power, capable of controlling the weather, was so great that even W and Accel combined were no match for him, making him a foe of unparalleled power and madness. Isaka is one of the strongest characters individually, and he will become heavily involved with the Sonozaki family, the masterminds behind the story.
Synopsis Part 8: Terui Ryu's Trial/Accel Trial
In order to defeat Isaka, Terui is given a Trial Memory by his ally, Shroud, to gain new powers. The Trial Memory further evolves the Accel, but it is difficult to use. Despite Terui's extraordinary training, he is unable to master it and is forced to face Isaka in a decisive battle. However, at the last moment, Terui masters the Trial Memory and settles the score with Isaka.
Synopsis Part 9: The Sonozaki Family/Museum
The Museum, the organization distributing Gaia Memories in Wind City, is run by the Sonozaki family, a prominent figure in Wind City. Philip's true identity is Raito Sonozaki, the eldest son of the Sonozaki family, who was supposed to have died after falling into the Earth's Will. Philip's body had been reconstructed as data. Each member of the Sonozaki family lives at the mercy of their own destiny. The eldest daughter, Saeko, leaves the Sonozaki family and starts a conflict in order to prove her own abilities, while the second daughter, Wakana, is initially unaware of the situation and secretly connects with Philip, but eventually follows in the footsteps of her father, Sonozaki Ryubei, and transforms into a ruthless manager.
Synopsis Part 10: Sonozaki Ryubei/Gaia Impact
The ultimate goal of Sonozaki Ryubei, the head of the museum and head of the Sonozaki family, is to prevent the impending extinction of humanity by digitizing his daughter Wakana as a shrine maiden and using the Gaia Memory to connect all of humanity to the will of the Earth, forcing them to evolve into a powerful, indestructible life form. However, his plan is thwarted by none other than the Joker-like figure, Hidari Shotaro, and his friends.
Synopsis Part 11: The End of the Sonozaki Family/Terror Dopant
Sonozaki Ryubei's Gaia Memory, Terror, is a powerful memory that instills fear in its target. Those without resistance are unable to fight and are dominated by fear. Shotaro lacks resistance to mental attacks. For this reason, Shroud did not approve of Shotaro becoming a W, and considered Sokichi Narumi and Ryu Terui, who possess resistance, to be his trump card against Sonozaki Ryubei. However, Shotaro overcomes his fear with his own strength and fights Sonozaki Ryubei, defeating him. Shotaro, an ordinary person with nothing, became the Joker, just as his memory indicated.
Additional Information
The mysterious Shroud, who gave Terui Ryu's driver, is actually Fumino Sonozaki, the ex-wife of Sonozaki Ryubei. Her goal was revenge against Sonozaki Ryubei, who had used her son, Raito, for his own purposes and then tortured and abandoned her for objecting. She provided all of Shotaro's equipment, including the driver. However, Hidari Shotaro was not one of the pieces needed for revenge, and she was opposed to his becoming a W.
Synopsis Part 12: Kato Jun/Utopia Dopant
Though Ryubei Sonozaki was defeated by W and Accel, the ceremony to transform Wakana into the Earth Priestess was already complete. Kato Jun, an agent of Foundation X, which supported the museum, protected Saeko, made her the head of the museum, and attempted to use Wakana Sonozaki, now the Earth Priestess, to carry out the Gaia Impact. However, the Gaia Impact he envisioned was not intended to prevent the destruction of humanity, but rather to eliminate everything that was not beneficial to them. Saeko, however, disapproved of this method and defected, leading Kato to kill her.
Synopsis Part 13: Final Battle/Goodbye, Philip!
Shotaro and Philip head to the final battle with Kato to rescue Wakana. However, Philip's body is on the verge of disappearing, and if he transforms again, he will disappear. Nevertheless, Philip transforms to rescue Wakana and defeats Kato's Utopia Dopant. Philip leaves a message for Shotaro before disappearing.
Synopsis Part 14: Resurrection of F/My Gaia Impact
A year later, Shotaro finds himself in a difficult situation during a battle with Dopants. However, Philip appears and saves him. In fact, the rescued Wakana used her own life to cause the Gaia Impact in order to revive her younger brother, Raito, through Earth's bookshelf. Philip reunites with his family in Earth's memories, reconciles with them, and is entrusted with Fuuto, upon his revival. Thus, Kamen Rider returns to Fuuto once again.
