The character designs are based on Takeuchi's current drawing style, so they are intended to differ from the original. As with "Fate/Zero," there are multiple designers, so the designs for each character vary (for example, Saber and Rin are designed by different people).
The script and series composition are handled by multiple in-house staff under the name of ufotable.
Some of the direction is reminiscent of "Zero," and for those scenes, music is provided by Kajiura Yuki, who was in charge of the music for "Zero."

Overview
A Caster Servant summoned for the Fifth Holy Grail War.
A woman clad in a magician's robe, her face hidden by a hood.
She has established herself at Ryudou Temple, carefully monitoring her surroundings with magic and making meticulous preparations.
Character Profile
A "magician-like magician" who will use any means to achieve her goals.
A ruthless and cruel woman, she will use any means to achieve her goals and excels at cunning.
However, this personality trait is a reaction to the fate imposed on her.
A tragic woman who has repeatedly been betrayed, and now finds herself in a position to betray others.
While she will not hesitate to use cruel means if necessary, she is innocent at heart and will refrain from such actions if they are unnecessary.
Anyone who spends some time with her will understand that, thanks to her sheltered status as a princess, she is a lady of sound decency and morals at heart. Though she may boast wicked words like, "Every single person in this town is mine," her inability to take a life is proof of this.
She is essentially a pure and innocent woman, a gifted woman who will do anything for the man she loves.
However, due to a traumatic experience in which the man she loved ran away when she became too dependent, she maintains a reserved attitude. She has a weakness for honest people.
True Name
In Greek mythology, Medea, the traitorous witch, is a princess of Colchis.
As the name "Betrayal" suggests, Medea's true nature is close to that of an anti-hero.
Originally, she was a sheltered princess living peacefully in her hometown of Colchis, loved by her family and people. However, her fate began to change when Jason and his ship, the Argo, landed. Cursed by the goddess Aphrodite, she fell fanatically in love with Jason, and in order to fend off her pursuers, she dismembered her brother and boarded the Argo to join them.
After that, she continued to commit many atrocities using her magic as Jason told her to, and was criticized and slandered by heroes and humans alike as a "traitorous witch." Despite her devotion to Jason, he ultimately betrayed and abandoned her, never once caring for her.
After being forced to commit atrocities while insane due to the curse, she lost everything and became a witch, swearing revenge on Jason. Some say she died in her later years as a victim of revenge from those she had tormented with magic, while others say she became immortal and is now wandering the lands of Greece. Indeed, she never set foot on the soil of her beloved hometown.
Abilities
Though she has not mastered magic, she effortlessly wields advanced magic from the Age of the Gods, nearly to the point of magic, and her abilities as a magician are on a level equal to or even surpassing that of a wizard. Using the great magic of the Age of the Gods, she possesses a variety of techniques, including attacks with magical bullets and the summoning of bone golems and dragon fang soldiers.
She possesses all A-rank skills necessary for a magician. While she has never accomplished any great feats in the mythology, her magicianship is considered to be of the highest order. However, in the Fuyuki Holy Grail War, she is unable to even scratch Saber, who possesses the skill "Anti-Magic (A)."
She does not possess the "Clairvoyance that Sees the Entire World," the mark of the highest-ranking magician, and is therefore not considered to be among the highest-ranking magicians.
Noble Phantasm: Rule Breaker
A misshapen dagger. While its attack power is only comparable to that of a normal knife, it is the most powerful anti-magic Noble Phantasm, possessing the ability to "initialize all magic." Its power is enough to nullify Command Seal contracts.
Its activation condition is to stab the tip of the sword into the target, and since Caster herself is a magician, it is not often used in a straightforward manner. However, due to its unique effect, it appears many times in the story and has had a profound impact on the story.

Overview
During the Fifth Holy Grail War, Caster summoned him using the gate of Ryudou Temple as a catalyst to further strengthen her own faction. He is an aesthetically pleasing young swordsman, wearing a navy blue battle robe and carrying a long sword.
Ryudou Temple is bound by a local barrier, restricting Servants to enter only through the main gate, but he stands guard at the gate.
True Name
Sasaki Kojiro, one of Japan's most renowned swordsmen—but this is not him.
Originally, the Assassin summoned to Fuyuki would have been someone from the group of assassins known as Hassan-i-Sabbah, but because the summoning was based on the unprecedented violation of the rules of "a Servant summoning a Servant," a fictional Heroic Spirit other than Hassan-i-Sabbah was summoned instead. This is why he has the appearance of a dignified swordsman, unbecoming of an assassin.
"He" himself had lived his life, in both name and reality, by the sword.
Born in a farming village deep in the mountains, as a child he was captivated by the skills of an old swordsman. However, the old man only wielded his sword in front of the boy once. He was not even allowed to study under him.
Taking the old man's parting gift, a "clothesline pole," in his hand, the boy continued to wield his sword before his death.
To get closer to the masterful skill of the old man he saw that day. And to slay the swallows swiftly flying through the sky. For that alone.
Character Profile
A man of refinement who appreciates the beauty of nature and dresses in an elegant battle robe. He is gentle, yet has a carefree and somewhat elusive personality. He also possesses the philosophy of "a clear mirror and still water," and remains unfazed by anything, even his own death.
On the other hand, he is a true warrior and prefers fair and honorable battles. As mentioned above, during his lifetime he devoted himself to training in the mountains and never crossed swords with anyone. Therefore, his hope in the Holy Grail War is to wield his sword skills against a powerful opponent.
Abilities
Although she manifests as an "Assassin" class, as she is an irregular Servant summoned by an Irregular, she has lost most of the Assassin class characteristics.
Rather, Saber's class seems more appropriate.
Among the Servants invited to the Fifth Holy Grail War, he possesses the best swordsmanship (according to Kinoko Nasu, "In terms of pure swordsmanship alone, he is the best Servant in this Holy Grail War."
As a swordsman class, Saber's strength does not depend solely on swordsmanship, but on her overall strength including all other aspects), and while parrying her opponents' attacks, she makes use of sharp, one-hit kill slashes that have been described as "all attacks designed to chop off heads." Even defensive stances are used as a deterrent with one-hit kills aimed at a draw.
Noble Phantasm: Secret Sword "Swallow Reversal"
This is the only technique that requires a fixed stance for this intangible servant. Its three arcing trajectories and the length of his beloved long sword create an unavoidable sword technique.
While limited, this secret sword technique can even cause the multidimensional refraction phenomenon (Kisha Zelretch), summoning three different sword strokes from parallel worlds to strike the opponent simultaneously.
It is called an "Anti-Personnel Demonic Sword" rather than an "Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm."
As an aside, among his other sword attacks is a "straight downward swing followed by an immediate upward slash," which replicates the most likely form of the real-world "Swallow Reversal."
In fact, the Fifth Holy Grail War was the first and last time he used this "Swallow Reversal" in combat. During his lifetime, he honed his sword skills solely for the purpose of "slashing swallows," and passed away just as he had perfected and mastered it.
While this is a powerful sword technique comparable to a Noble Phantasm, he has the weakness of not having an official Noble Phantasm, which means that "it's all he has." Not only is his range of movement limited, but the battlefield is also characterized by uneven stairs, meaning he must rely solely on his sword technique.
