When it comes to anime, there are famous quotes and scenes. I'm sure you all have famous scenes from your favorite anime that you can say were the best! This time, we've carefully selected and ranked some of the best scenes from Eureka Seven! From famous scenes featuring the main characters to those featuring supporting characters, we've compiled a list of the top 10!
10th Place: Join the Future

Our pick for 10th place is Episode 39, which is full of memorable and often ambiguous scenes! Eureka Seven is full of tense and serious moments, but in Episode 39, the members of Gekkostate play soccer. At first, you might think, "What's this!?" as the unexpected sports-themed plot twist unfolds, but then you'll see a rare, memorable scene in which Holland is used as a comedic character.
Episode 9: Vivid Bit

Our ninth-place pick is the scene from Episode 5 where Renton wakes up on Taruho's lap. Similarly, the scene in episode 5 where Holland gets angry when Talho destroys the present he bought for him, and Talho's smile at the end are hard to forget, but I chose this one because of the gentle smile shown by Talho, who is rarely outwardly kind to Renton.
8th Place: Blue Monday

For 8th place, we have the first episode, the encounter between Eureka and Renton, which could be said to be the beginning of everything. The scene when they get off the Nirvash is great, but the look of confusion on Eureka's face when Nirvash asks her about the Compact Drive is the best! This is a great scene where you can enjoy Eureka's facial expressions, which are almost nonexistent in the beginning, unlike in the final part.
7th Place: Cosmic Trigger

Our seventh-place pick is the scene from episode 40, where Eureka meets Tiptree, an elderly woman who is a follower of the Vodalak religion. There was some resentment between Eureka and Vodalak, and Eureka was unable to make eye contact and immediately turned around to leave. However, Tiptree called out to her, and without any conversation he sensed Eureka's feelings, and Eureka faced Tiptree with tears in her eyes.
6th Place: Experience 4

Our sixth place pick is the reunion scene with Adrock from episode 47, in which Adrock reunites with his older sister Diane and their father. The reunion scene with Diane, who bursts into tears and jumps on him, is equally memorable, but the scene where Adrock quietly approaches his father with a look of surprise on his face is breathtakingly captivating. Renton's father never spoke to him, but he still looked satisfied.
5th Place: Don't You Want Me?

A must-see for fans of passionate older men! Our 5th place pick is the speech scene from episode 45, featuring Jurgens, the head of the Izumo squad. Jurgens appeared early on and seemed like a pushover, so I never expected him to have such a strong presence... He's not particularly strong, but he's trusted by his subordinates and could be called the ideal boss, so don't miss his speech!
4th Place: Paradise Lost

While this may be the clear winner for fans of the Beams couple, our fourth-place pick is the scene in episode 24 where Renton departs the Shiratori. As they part ways, Renton asks Ray if he approached him knowing that he was a member of Gekkostate, and Ray tries to act tough by saying it was obvious, but he can't hold back the tears and buries his face in Charles' chest - it's a classic scene that is painful to watch.
3rd Place: Morning Glory

Our third place pick is the scene from episode 26, where Renton returns from running away from home and talks with Eureka inside the Nirvash. It's a slightly embarrassing scene as the two, who have grown mentally, talk with blushing cheeks, but their conversation is easily overlooked by the other members of Gekkostate, who nod and grin as they listen to their feelings, making for a heartwarming scene.
2nd Place: When You Wish Upon a Star

I was torn between first place and second place, but my pick is the scene from episode 50 where Renton and Eureka reunite. "I will always protect you." To keep that promise, Renton decides to give up his human life and come to Eureka. At that moment, Eureka says, "You came...you really came." It's a truly moving and memorable scene.
No. 1: Ballet Mechanic

Pushing aside the main characters Renton and Eureka, we chose the scene in episode 48, "Ballet Mechanic," where Anemone and Dominic are reunited. Of course, their conversation upon reunion is a memorable scene, but what we want you to pay attention to is Gulliver's actions when the two seem to be within reach but can't! He reaches out to mediate between them, offering assistance. This scene is truly memorable.
