"Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest" features a large number of beautiful girls. Of course, there are some attractive male characters, but the female cast really stands out! This time, I'll be showcasing my personal ranking of the most popular female characters, even before the show even begins!
10th Place: Kouki Amanogawa
In 10th place is the popular hero, Kouki Amanogawa, who is also a popular character in the class. He is the leader of the hero party, a handsome character who can do anything competently, truly a character that could be called the "protagonist," but this time he was treated more like Hajime's classmate, so he was ranked 10th. He is considered a perfect superhuman who can do anything, but in reality he can be insensitive at times. To put it in a positive way, he has a strong core. To put it in a negative way, he is stubborn and does not go back on his word. He often shows mercy even to his enemies, and his poor judgment in times of crisis has led to his enemies saying that "Shizuku is more heroic." However, in the final episode, after learning of Kaori's feelings, he says to Shizuku something along the lines of "Please don't leave me behind," which somehow makes him a character that you can't just leave alone, and is hard to hate.
9th Place: Kaori Shirasaki
In 9th place is Kaori Shirasaki, the class's Madonna. A flawless, beautiful girl, she's by far the most popular among the boys. Even before the transfer, she often talked to Hajime, so much so that he began to hold a grudge against her... In this work, she appears as a naive, orthodox heroine, but she also exudes a somewhat dangerous aura, and in the spin-off work, she becomes a perverted character similar to Tia, who even her best friend Shizuku is put off by, such as smelling Hajime's uniform to recharge her energy... The reason she fell in love with Hajime was when she saw him helping an elderly stranger in middle school, and unlike the characters she became attracted to after Hajime changed after the transfer, she is the only character she liked when he was weak and before he changed.
8th Place: Hatayama Aiko
In 8th place is Hatayama Aiko, also known as the "Child Teacher." She's beloved by her students and nicknamed "Ai-chan" or "Ai-chan Sensei." In the other world, she found her calling as a farmer and became revered as the "Goddess of Fertility." While not a combat class, her magical powers are on par with those of the hero Kouki, and it's said that if she put her mind to it, she could solve the world's food shortages. (He's even said by his enemies to be more troublesome than the hero.) When he reunited with Hajime, he was surprised by his changed appearance and personality, but he also intervened in various situations, just like a teacher. Despite his appearance, he's a strong-willed teacher. By the way, he's 25 years old. He's a full-fledged adult, old enough to drink alcohol (lol).
7th Place: Tio Klarus
Our seventh choice is a pervert...or rather, Tio Klarus. Despite being a beautiful woman with an incredible figure and flawless looks, she has a unique sexual fetish that makes you wonder "how did it turn out like this?", which is both her flaw and her good point: she is a masochistic pervert character. She looks happier when she is treated cruelly than when she is treated kindly (she especially loves being left alone). The reason for this is that when she fought Hajime, he shot a pile bunker into her buttocks multiple times. In a way, it is Hajime's fault that Tio has become a pervert. As a result, as expected, he ends up accompanying him on his journey in order to "make him take responsibility." While normally she is just a pervert, she was originally a dragon-man with great powers, and is able to use magic of various attributes even in her human form.
6th Place: Shia Hauria
In sixth place is Shia Hauria, the unfortunate rabbit. With her bunny ears, large breasts, and beautiful body, Shia is overflowing with cuteness, but she also has a rather unfortunate brain. She makes inappropriate remarks and behaves foolishly, living up to her nickname, "Unfortunate Rabbit." (That's what makes her so lovable and adorable, though.) She was persecuted for being a demi-human born with magical powers, and was eventually rescued by Hajime and his friends, who eventually joined her. Although she makes all sorts of clumsy mistakes every time, often leaving everyone around her dumbfounded, she's also irresistibly adorable, and she works hard every day to earn Yue's spot (next to Hajime).
5th Place: Miu
Our fifth place pick is everyone's daughter, Miu. The reason I chose her is, needless to say, because she's so cute (lol). She's only four years old, and she's the epitome of innocence and naivety! Her catchphrase is "nano" (~nano) at the end of every sentence. Even that is so cute, it seems Hajime can't compete with Miu. At first, she called Hajime "Big Brother," but when Hajime told her to stop calling him Big Brother, the relationship worsened to "Papa." After that, she consistently called him "Papa," which led to Kaori, upon reuniting with him after a long time, questioning her about the situation. (Given their age, it's impossible for a child to grow this much in such a short amount of time...)
4th Place: Shizuku Yaegashi
In fourth place is Shizuku Yaegashi, Kaori's best friend and team leader. At 172cm tall, she is quite tall for a woman, and has an incredible figure. She has what you might call a model-like body type (so much so that she and Kaori are known as the "two great goddesses"). Although she is a swordsman by trade, she is able to observe her surroundings and make accurate judgments about situations, and has a more heroic personality than the hero Kouki, who tends to rush ahead and go out of control, so the word "calm and collected" suits her best. She is not the "cute" type, but rather a "dignified" type of beautiful girl, and while she is popular with boys, she seems to be extremely popular with girls in her class. She sometimes gets frustrated when her best friend Kaori and Hajime's relationship doesn't progress, but before she knows it, she and Hajime are getting along well...
3rd Place: Hajime Nagumo
Our third place pick is the protagonist of this work, Hajime Nagumo. Although he is the main character, he is not a peace-loving ally of the world. After being betrayed by his comrades and nearly dying, he becomes a dark hero-like figure who is determined to "kill my enemies, no matter who they are." His appeal lies in his overwhelming strength, which allows him to transmute anything. He can transmute not only weapons like guns and swords, but even motorcycles and cars. He gained his overwhelming strength by consuming holy water and monsters in the depths of hell. However, he has a very biased and arrogant attitude, so he may be a character that some people will either love or hate.
Second Place: Taniguchi Suzu
Second place goes to Taniguchi Suzu, the class's mood maker! Many of you might be wondering, "Huh? Did this character really play such an important role?" But this is a ranking based on my personal favorites, so I hope you'll forgive me (lol). Suzu's charm lies in her cheerful and energetic nature. While she may seem a bit of a dorky character, her true charm lies in her tenacity and thoughtfulness. In particular, the scene where she protects her teammates with the barrier immediately after suffering a near-fatal injury made me think, "They really made this into an anime!"
1st Place: Yue
Our top pick is the main heroine, Yue. While these rankings have been quite subjective, I'm sure many of you would have chosen Yue for your top spot. She truly is the epitome of a beautiful girl (even though her actual age is 323). Her personality is what some would call a kuudere, and while she's usually cool, she's charmingly affectionate in front of Hajime. As mentioned earlier, her actual age is 323, so while she looks like a 12-year-old girl, her mature aura is one of her charms. Her real name is Aleytia Galdier Wesperitirio Avatar, but since Hajime named her "Yue," she has grown to like it and has been using it exclusively.

So far, we've introduced a popularity ranking of characters from "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest." What did you think? Personally, I'd recommend Suzu, who came in second place... but which character is your favorite? I'm also looking forward to the new characters appearing in the second season!
