In "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest," Hajime creates weapons and skills through forging, as well as special magic he acquires through his calling. From small weapons to massive weapons, and from simple spells to unimaginably powerful ones, a wide variety of weapons and magic appear. This time, we'll introduce the weapons, skills, and magic that appeared in the anime.
Seizetsu
This magic, which appeared in the first episode of the anime, creates a barrier to protect the surrounding area from enemy attacks. There are several types of Seiizetsu, some of which can be used offensively, but it is primarily a defensive technique. While his classmate Suzu Taniguchi is skilled at this weapon, Meld, the leader of the Heiligh Kingdom's Knights, also wields it in the first episode. However, since Meld is a warrior, Suzu's weapon is likely stronger in terms of power.
Donner
This revolver-style pistol was the first one Hajime created in the first episode. It uses hard, black tauru ore and flammable combustion stones as explosives. By accelerating and firing them with thunder, it unleashes power that rivals even higher-level magic. He even called his pistol "partner" and gave it the name "Donner" (lol).
Ground Shrinkage + Air Force
These abilities were acquired from the monster Hajime ate in the first episode. Ground Shrinkage allows him to move with a restraint that instantly closes the distance, while Air Force allows him to move using the air as a foothold. This allows Hajime to quickly dodge enemy attacks and regain his balance in the air.
Souten
This is a magic used by Yue in episode 3. It slowly drops a blue fireball about 7 meters in diameter from the sky, dealing damage to the enemy. While it may seem unimpressive at first glance, it is a top-tier spell. Immediately after being released from the seal, Yue loses all her magical power and collapses after just one spell. However, at Hajime's request, she unleashes another Souten spell, but it's smaller than the first. Even so, its power is immense, and combined with Hajime's Donner, it defeats enemy monsters.
Frozen Rain
This is a spell used by Yue at the boss in episode 4. It attacks the enemy by raining down ice-like arrows. It's a fairly advanced spell, but in the story, the enemy quickly recovered from it.
Hisou (Scarlet Spear)
This is also a spell used by Yue in Episode 4, where she becomes a boss. She creates a flaming spear and throws it at the enemy. This technique is also a fairly advanced spell, but it was blocked by an enemy monster specialized in defense. Incidentally, although it hasn't yet appeared in the anime, there is an even more advanced spell called "Hisou: Senrin," which deploys 1,000 of the scarlet spears used in this spell and launches them at the enemy.
Schlagen
Hajime's weapon, which appeared in episode 4. Apparently created after meeting Yue, it's used against enemies that the Donner can't fatally inflict. The Schlagen is an anti-material rifle, but rather than firing a bullet, it fires a giant beam cannon. It's destroyed during the battle, but he later creates an improved version.
Heavenly Scoop
This is the magic used by Yue in episode 4. At first glance, it looks similar to "Blue Sky," but it is charged with electricity and fires six blue orbs at once. She then creates a giant lightning ball in the center of the sky and unleashes lightning magic over a wide area.
Tensho Sen (Heavenly Flying Flash)
A slashing magical attack used by Mitsuteru Amanogawa against Behemoth in Episode 5. After chanting "Fly your wings and reach the heavens," the attack unleashes a holy slash of light.
Zetsuzan (Extreme Slash)
A slashing magic attack used by Yaegashi Shizuku in Episode 5. After chanting "A supreme flash that cuts through everything," this close- to medium-range magic slashes.
Halo
This is a shock-absorbing spell used by Kaori Shirasaki in Episode 5. After chanting "Gentle Healing Embraces All," it releases as many circular beams of light as needed to cushion falling allies and absorb the impact.
Light Explosion
This is a magic used by Mitsuteru Amanogawa in Episode 5. No chanting is required; it can be activated simply by saying "Light Explosion." After stabbing the enemy, it explodes from within, dealing damage.
Shoten (Scorched Heaven)
A healing spell used by Kaori Shirasaki in Episode 5. After chanting "God's blessing, grant him strength once more," it instantly restores the target's stamina.
Joten
This healing magic was used by Kaori Kinosaki in episode 5. Unlike "Shoten," which restores physical strength, this magic restores the target's magical power. In the anime, it was used on Suzu, whose Sacred Severance was about to be broken, restoring her Sacred Severance. It can also be used to boost magical power while in use.
Limit Break (Genkai Toppa)
This is a strengthening spell used by Kouki Amanogawa in Episode 5. By chanting "Limit Break," he temporarily strengthens his body and defeats the episode's boss, Behemoth. This Limit Break puts a heavy burden on the body, perhaps as a trade-off, as when he uses it against Cattleya, Shizuku stops him, saying, "My body can't take it."
Future Sight
Shea's unique magic, which first appeared in Episode 6, allows her to "see a hypothetical future," for example, "If I make this choice, what will happen next?" This unique magic allows Shea to see into the future. As soon as Hajime and his friends arrived, she immediately asked for help, as if she had been waiting for it.
Castle Flame, Wind Wall, and Ice Ball
These are the spells used during Yue's battle with Shea in Episode 6. Castle Flame is a defensive spell that creates a wall of flame to deflect enemy attacks. Wind Wall unleashes wind, which can be used for both defense and transportation. Ice Ball is a spell that rains spherical ice from the sky, a less lethal offensive spell similar to freezing rain. (Shia was frozen after being hit.)
Dryukken
This is Shia's main weapon, first appearing in Episode 7. It is a large hammer-shaped artifact created by Hajime for Shia. It does not use any special magic, but rather acts as a blunt weapon used to defeat enemies. However, when combined with Shia's power, it exerts considerable force.
Frozen Coffin
In episode 7, Yue used ice magic on the golem. Its main purpose was to freeze the ground and immobilize the enemy. During the battle with the golem, she used the frozen coffin at the exact moment it fell. While it was still lying there, unable to move, Hajime and Shea delivered the final blow.
Pile Bunker
It was used frequently, but it was first used in earnest in episode 9, in the fight against Tio. Since dragons have a weak spot in their scaleless buttocks, the pile bunker's stakes were driven into the dragon's buttocks. It's a strange use, but in this case, Hajime uses it by kicking to drive the stakes in.
Gatling Gun Launcher
This weapon was also used frequently, but it made a major impact in episode 10. It's made from a special ore, so its power is on a whole different level, but it's used in the same way as a normal weapon. The launcher can fire up to six shots simultaneously.
Storm and Dust
This spell, used by Tio in Episode 10, creates a giant tornado. Before this technique, a sinister-colored flame is released, and the tornado is created after the incantation "Blow wildly from the summit, burn like a crimson torrent."
Thunder Dragon
Yue used this lightning magic in episode 10. In the anime, there's no chanting required; simply say "Thunder Dragon" to activate it. A dragon made of lightning appears in the sky and sweeps away enemies. This magic was Yue's original, and it looked just like a certain Shenron (lol).
Light Blade
This is a sword technique used by Mitsuteru Amanogawa in episode 12. By chanting "Blade-like will, dwell in light and cut through the enemy," the sword is infused with the magical power of light, dramatically increasing its power.
Black Spot Sphere
This is the gravity magic used by Yue in episode 13. It can be used without chanting, and is a black hole-like magic that creates a hole in the sky, sucking in enemies and smashing them to pieces.
