This is a friend of the unidentified creature, Tsuchinoko. In fact, Tsuchinoko are believed to have been discovered in Japan as early as the Jomon period. While there are still many mysteries surrounding this creature, it has quite a long history.
Many people have searched for its whereabouts, and Tsuchinoko calls itself the "eternally inquiring creature."
It is shy by nature. She has a shy side, blushing and becoming nervous when others notice her. Because of this, she likes to hide in the shadows or dimly lit places.

Her hair is a curly blue-green. Perhaps because she's an unidentified creature, her face is usually in shadow, and her eyes sometimes glow a light green. She wears a hooded dress with a Tsuchinoko-like pattern. She wears a pink ribbon around her neck, which supposedly represents the snake's tongue.

She can see infrared light and has a keen nose, which allows her to carry out tasks such as relocation exploration. She also has a bit of an otaku side, becoming extremely talkative when it comes to ruins.

In the anime, this character appeared in episode 4.

Kaban and Serval get lost in the cave area of Desert Area. They accidentally encounter Tsuchinoko, who is investigating the cave's transition. An incident immediately occurs. Serval accidentally moves the geta that Tsuchinoko is using as a doorstop at the entrance, causing the entrance to close. The three are trapped in the cave. So they set out to find the exit.

They had some mishaps along the way, including being attacked by Ceruleans, but they managed to reach the exit. However, the exit they were looking for was blocked by lava. The three were at a loss as to what to do, until Kaban-chan discovered another exit through a nearby emergency exit. They were able to escape safely.

From Tsuchinoko's various comments, it seems he knows the truth behind the mysteries of Japari Park and the secrets of the Lucky Beasts, but the truth of this is unknown.
However, as he sees Kaban-chan and the others off, Tsuchinoko mutters something cryptic: "That thing... wasn't extinct?" Since the series first aired, there had been speculation that this anime might actually have a dark side, but Tsuchinoko's comments really sparked speculation. For this reason, he is also said to have been the one who "ignited" the Kemono Friends boom.

Who is Tsuchinoko's voice actor?

Tsuchinoko is voiced by voice actress Yu Kobayashi.
Tsuchinoko's voice in the anime is slightly stronger than in the app version. Thanks to Yu Kobayashi's passionate performance, the anime version of Tsuchinoko is a comical and fun character with intense emotional ups and downs.
