Sakura Minamoto, who was aspiring to become an idol, is hit by a truck. When she comes to, she loses her memory and finds herself a zombie. Tatsumi Kotaro tells her to aim to become an idol together with Nikaido Saki, Mizuno Ai, Konno Junko, Yugiri, Hoshikawa Lily, and Yamada Tae in order to save Saga. Sakura is confused, but she is forced onto the death metal stage with the others who have not yet regained consciousness. When the crazy concert comes to an end, the others also regain consciousness as zombies, as they recall the scene that appeared in their minds at the time.

Born March 7, 1992, died August 4, 2008. She was 16 years old when she died, standing at 160cm and weighing 42kg. Her measurements were 81(B)/56/80. According to Tatsumi, she was a "legendary idol of the Heisei era." She was from Tokyo. While alive, she was the center vocalist of Iron Frill, Japan's most popular idol unit, and a group that Sakura admired, and Sakura sometimes sees her in flashbacks. She had short black hair dotted with flower-shaped hair clips, and wore a blazer and miniskirt. Since becoming a zombie, her entire body has been wrapped in bandages except for the areas around her eyes and nose.
As a former legendary idol...

Zombie No. 3. A member of Franchouchou. He was seen on the TV that Sakura Minamoto was watching at the beginning of Episode 1. Sakura has lost most of her memories from her previous life, and has forgotten that she once admired Ai. Ai, on the other hand, has regained her memories from her previous life, and initially pays no attention to her shady local idol activities, even planning to run away and return to Tokyo.
One who knows the harshness of being an idol

She's the type to say what she wants to say clearly. She is also skeptical of Tatsumi Kotaro's local idol plan, and often frankly argues against his pushy statements. Having originally worked as a top idol, she is thought to know better than anyone how difficult idol activities are. This is why she is opposed to the hastily put together Franchouchou, saying "there's no way it'll work," which shows that she is a very serious person at heart.
Gradually Blending Into the Team

However, when Sakura Minamoto pours out her feelings through rap, she, along with fellow rebel Junko Konno and others, witnesses her sincerity toward her idols. Afterwards, he was moved by seeing the members devoting themselves to practicing for the guerrilla live performance, and gradually became involved in Franchouchou's activities.
Position within Franchouchou

Seeing Sakura and the others working hard, she was reminded of her own time as a rookie, and she decided to work hard as Franchouchou to once again become number one in Japan. Although her singing ability is inferior to Junko's, she is the best dancer in the group and uses her experience as an idol to teach Sakura and the others. Her hobby is idol research, so no one can beat Ai when it comes to idols.
Episode 3 Featuring Ai Mizuno
Guerrilla Live

Last time, the Idol Zombies managed to calm the stage with their angry rap. Their next challenge is a guerrilla live performance in front of a train station. Yugiri, who lived during the late Edo period, interprets the unfamiliar phrase as "something like a street murder." Yugiri is scary. Despite being resurrected 150 years in the future, she's adapted to the environment just as well as, or even better than, the other members, demonstrating her mental strength.
Team Name Decision

In episode 1, they are called "Death Girls." In episode 2, the Idol Zombies called themselves "Green Face," but they decided that the team name given to them by Tatsumi Kotaro was lame, and so they decided on "Franchouchou." I was wondering if the name would change every episode, but it seems like it was decided in episode 3.
The Rift Between Ai and Junko and Sakura and the Others

Sakura and the others are venting their frustrations in the park at night after practice isn't going well. However, Sakura tries to convey her passionate feelings to everyone, saying, "Even zombies can do it if they try hard and don't give up!", but is hit with a passionate slap from Yugiri. Yugiri then repeats the same thing, "Even zombies can do it if they don't give up." No matter how many times I watch it, I don't understand why Yugiri slapped her, but it was a great punchline with an exquisite tempo. After that, they resume practice. Unable to get the steps right, Ai and Junko leave the room. To the experienced idols, the remaining five zombies are nothing but beginners. Perhaps their pride as former professional idols is refusing to let them practice with them?

The next morning, Franchouchou begins their guerrilla live performance. Ai and Junko remain in the car. The guerrilla live performance that begins with the five of them is CG. The CG model setup is by Alecto, who was also involved in the production of "Inuyashiki" and "Cinchalion." As expected, things don't go well with just five amateurs. Sakura also forgets the lyrics. Then, Heisei and Showa era idols Ai and Junko appear. With their arrival, they are able to pull off the guerrilla live performance, but only one little girl stays in the audience until the end. This is reality.

Junko, a Showa-era idol, discovers the joy of singing and dancing with everyone, and Ai seems happy to be able to be an idol again. This doesn't mean that everyone will be focusing on idol activities for the time being.
