He also has extraordinary speed, which is among the best in the series, and he overwhelms Kamio of Fudomine Junior High School to win. As there is little depiction of his matches, the details of his other techniques are unknown.

Chitose Chisato

Chitose Chisato is a third-year student and a member of the tennis club at Shitenhoji Junior High School. She originally attended the same junior high school in Kyushu as Fudomine Junior High School captain Kippei Tachibana, but after being hit by a ball by Tachibana and injuring one of her eyes, she quit tennis and transferred to Shitenhoji Junior High School. However, after her right eye fully healed, she returned to tennis. She is characterized by her shaggy head of black hair and a calm, mature personality. Chitose Chisato and Tachibana are known as the "Kyushu Two Wings." Although he once suffered an eye injury at the hands of Tachibana, he has since returned and is a regular at Shitenhoji Junior High School. He is skilled in the "Extreme Brilliance" technique, one of the "Muga" states of mind, and can predict how many balls are left before a point is decided. He also masters the "Kamikakushi" technique, which causes the ball to suddenly jump up, and defeated Tachibana at the national tournament.

Yuji Ichiji

He is in a relationship with Koharu, and it is unclear whether he is actually gay. However, he is always on good terms with Konjiki Koharu, and often makes remarks that hint at him being gay. Ichiji Yuji is skilled at comedy tennis, and during matches with his partner Konjiki Koharu, he makes jokes to make his opponent laugh and demotivate them. He can also imitate their voices and movements exactly, which confuses them. In the story, he plays against the pair Momoshiro and Kaido, causing trouble for them, but is defeated because his expression is hidden by a mask.

Kin'iro Koharu

Kin'iro Koharu is a third-year student and member of the Shitennoji Junior High School tennis club. She has a shaved head, glasses, and a transvestite accent. While it's unclear whether she's actually transvestite, as she reacts to handsome men, she and Yuji Ichiji are often seen flirting with each other. Like Yuji Ichiji, she enjoys comedy, and the two often perform stand-up comedy routines. Koharu's special skills are comedy tennis and data tennis, thanks to her 200 IQ. Along with Yuji Ichiji, he often makes jokes that make his opponents laugh and stifle their power. He also uses his incredible intelligence and memory to fight, remembering detailed information about his opponents and analyzing their moves to come up with countermeasures. However, he doesn't seem to have much power, as in the story, his racket is often knocked back by balls from Momoshiro and other opponents.

Gin Ishida

Gin Ishida is a third-year student on the tennis team at Shitennoji Junior High School. He is characterized by his large physique and shaved head, and is a quiet, mature, and dignified character. He is also the brother of Ishida Tetsu of Fudomine Junior High School. It was Ishida Gin who taught Ishida Tetsu how to use the Hadoukyu, and he is an extremely powerful player. He is also referred to as "Sensei" by those around him due to his appearance. Ishida Gin is a power player who plays both doubles and singles, and his playing style is an aggressive baseliner. His hits are so powerful that most people's wrists go haywire just by returning them. He is also the creator of the Hadoukyu, and can hit Hadoukyu with varying powers, up to the Hyakuhachishiki Hadoukyu. He has a very low profile and is often forgotten by the other members, which is a shame. Kenjiro Koishikawa has not yet been seen playing in a match. Given his role as vice-captain, he is likely a strong player, but he has never played a match, making him a mysterious character.

Zaizen Hikaru

Zaizen Hikaru is a second-year student on the tennis team at Shitenhoji Junior High School. He's a refreshing character with a striking black hair, and one of the most handsome men in the series. He's also known for his sharp tongue, sarcastic comments, and self-confidence. He's the only second-year student at Shitenhoji Junior High, and is often called creepy by Konjiki Koharu and Ichiji Yuji. His talent is so impressive that those around him call him a genius. However, in the series, he was supposed to play doubles with Oshitari Kenya in the match against Seishun Gakuen. Then, Chitose suddenly had to replace Kenya Oshitari, and the match with Tezuka was played in a modified singles format using the doubles court, with only serving. Therefore, his skill level is uncertain, and although he tries to intervene in the match, he ends up being unable to interfere.

Kintaro Toyama

Shitennoji Members Summary

Kintaro Toyama is a first-year student and a member of the tennis club at Shitennoji Junior High School. He is characterized by his messy red hair and leopard-print tank top, and has a very cheerful and sociable personality. He is a typical Osakan, always cheerful, happy, and innocent character, and he loves tennis. He is a rookie from Osaka, and views Echizen Ryoma as his rival. Toyama Kintaro is not only an extremely strong player, but also has incredible speed and plays with wild, unconventional moves. This makes him a powerful player, making it difficult to predict how he will attack. His signature move, the "Super Ultra Great Delicious Daisharin Yamaarashi", is said to be more dangerous than Ishida Gin's 108-type Hadoukyuu, and is powerful enough to create a tornado.
