He was involved in the "Somei Yoshino Project," which involves using Yozakura's blood as a doping agent to develop biological weapons. He has a frank personality and appears to normally work diligently as a doctor, but at the time, he possesses combat abilities that overwhelmed Taiyo.
A sworn enemy of Asano Taiyo
In addition to targeting Taiyo's wife, Mutsumi, he was also involved in the Asano family's accident, which was thought to have been an accidental death. Although it is unclear whether he personally killed Taiyo's family, he is the one who killed them. He studied "Somenin," the source of Yozakura's power, and developed a counterfeit version called "Hazakura." He attacks the Yozakura family using the surviving compatible individuals from the Hazakura administration experiment, which resulted in numerous casualties. Yozakura Tsubomi is his blood relative!?
Hikari Makoto's real name is Makoto Kawashita, and he is 108 years old. During the war, he worked as a scientist researching Yozakura Tsubomi, and watched her continue to suffer from the effects of Yozakura's blood. When military personnel attempted to hand her over to the enemy, he rescued her, even at the risk of suicide. During the process, Tsubomi shared some of her blood with him, awakening the power of Yozakura's blood. The "Sowing Plan" was an attempt to change the world filled with hunger and death due to war through human evolution, and to create a world where Yozakura buds could live normal lives without being treated like monsters. By incorporating Yozakura's blood, he was able to blossom, and his special ability was "Regeneration."
Boss Character #2: Yozakura Momo, Father of the Yozakura Family
The father of the Yozakura family. While a member of the spy organization "Tanpopo," he secretly monitors Subcutaneous Makoto and operates for his own purposes. He also once killed his own wife, Yozakura Rei, and kidnapped Mutsumi, causing great trauma to Kyoichiro and Mutsumi. Subcutaneous breaks into the hotel where Taiyo is staying, leaving a cryptic message and fatally wounding him. He then attacks the Yozakura mansion with the compatible Hazakura, forcing Mutsumi to give Taiyo the blood of the family head.
A Father with a Fond Devotion to His Family
Yozakura Momo has an almost obsessive love for his family, the Yozakuras, and even encouraged Taiyo to become stronger in order to protect Mutsumi. His ultimate goal was to revive his wife, Yozakura Rei, and reclaim his family. He has sacrificed tens of thousands of people to achieve this, and his mental state has reached a level that could be described as insane. In order to revive Rei, he opposes the Yozakura family and the Spy Association, launching an attack using a monster named "Sakurabou" created using Tsubomi, and carrying out the final stage of his plan.
Yozakura Tsubomi Clone
In fact, his true identity is a being created by the first head of the family, Tsubomi Yozakura, for her own plan. Rather than being Tsubomi's child, he is more like a clone of Tsubomi, sent by Tsubomi Yozakura to be a companion for the ninth head, Rei Yozakura. Momo's flowering was a "dream" that allowed her to brainwash others by showing them dreams. However, it was a "dream" that Tsubomi bestowed upon her so that when the time was right, she would use it to brainwash Momo. It was also against Momo's will to kidnap Rei and Mutsumi.

Boss Character #3: Yozakura Tsubomi
The first head of the Yozakura family and founder of the spy organization Tanpopo. She bears a striking resemblance to Mutsumi, with countless cherry blossom branches and leaves growing from her body. She possesses particularly powerful healing powers, possessing them since her birth approximately 300 years ago. She has used these powers to save countless lives. However, her overwhelming powers continued to eat away at her own body, and her incredible regenerative abilities prevented her from dying. During the war, she led a tragic life as a research subject under the watchful eye of researcher Makoto Kawashita. This led to her strong desire to live a normal life.
A Long-Term Plan for Resurrection
Three centuries of harsh life have eroded Tsubomi's mind, leaving it severely warped. He then revived her aging body and created generations of Yozakura to fulfill his wish. He then assigned his creation, Yozakura Momo, to the ninth head of the family, Yozakura Rei, and planned and executed a plan to use the next head, Yozakura Mutsumi, as a human sacrifice.
Yozakura Tsubomi: Using the Dead
Yozakura Tsubomi uses an organization called Dandelion to work in the shadows to realize her wish to become as common as Dandelion. She is currently depicted buried in a cherry tree in a hideout somewhere, and through that tree, she has spread her roots throughout the country. In the process, she revives her own relative, the former head of the Yozakura family, in a manner similar to Edo Tensei. The resurrected heads awakened to a state of bloom that should never have been awakened. Some bowed to their mother, while others rebelled. However, the rebellious heads lacked free will and were used as puppets to protect their roots.
Yozakura Tsubomi's Conscience
Yozakura Tsubomi has endured hell and is completely twisted, but within her remains a part that could be called her conscience. That conscience was inherited by Subtitut Makoto, who then infused his blood into Taiyo's body, passing it on to Taiyo's mind. Tsubomi's conscience laments the deep curse her existence has caused to her descendants, and asks Taiyo to kill her.
Boss Character #4: The Mysterious True Mastermind, Dan
Yozakura Tsubomi's father. He spreads Tsubomi's powers throughout the world, controls them all, and continues to work in the shadows to return them to society. He is the true mastermind behind Tsubomi Yozakura's hellish life, Makoto Hika's attempt to use Tsubomi as a research subject and carry out the Seed Planting Plan, the deaths of Mutsumi and her parents, and even the deaths of Taiyo's family. As a result of Rei and Momo's rebellion, his plans were severely disrupted, forcing him to come into the public eye and appear before the Yozakura family, intending to use everything in their power to bring them under his control. He is likely the final boss of the series.
