"SHAMAN KING FLOWERS" is the sequel to the popular "SHAMAN KING" series, which was serialized until 2004. An anime version is scheduled to air in January of next year, and is already a hot topic among longtime fans. Many characters already appeared in the previous work, but this one will feature even more. But who is the strongest of them all? In this article, we'll introduce a ranking of the strongest characters, along with our own thoughts! Read on and make your guesses as to which characters will make the list!

Story Summary

Hana Asakura, a junior high school student living in Funbari-ga-Oka, is the son of Yoh Asakura and Anna Asakura (née Osorezan), and is truly a thoroughbred shaman. However, with no opportunity to utilize his talents, Hana's days are filled with boredom and frustration. Then, two assassins appear before him. His encounter with the two, descendants of another Asakura family, the "Ura Asakura Family," thought to have vanished into the darkness of history, marks the beginning of a new battle: the "Flower of Maze." The curtain rises on a new story starring Hana Asakura.

5th Place: Hana Asakura

Ranked fifth is the protagonist, Hana Asakura. He is the son of the previous series' protagonists, You Asakura and Anna Kyoyama, and also Hao's nephew. He is of the strongest bloodline and possesses the talent to live up to it. He has been mastering the Oversoul since childhood, even mastering the difficult Oversoul transformation. Hana's strength is underscored by her ability to unleash her demonic powers when near death. This ability was given to Hao on a condition that it would activate upon his resurrection. The demons range from small to large. The Dark Demons are particularly gigantic, equivalent to god-class demons. However, there are even greater demons known as "Ike Oni," and even Hao, who has become the Shaman King, is unable to control them. As the main character, I wanted to rank him a little higher, but since he seems to have even more hidden abilities, I decided to rank him this way in the hopes that he will rise in the rankings.

4th Place: Tamao Tamamura

Ranked in 4th place is Tamao Tamamura. Those who have read the previous work will probably feel that the image of Tamao gives them a very different impression. She looks like a completely different person, but they are the same person. Tamao in this work has grown significantly compared to the previous work. Her spiritual power is an astonishing 10 million plus, about nine times greater than Hao's. Many people were probably surprised to see Tamao in this work, as she didn't seem particularly strong in the previous work. The reason she became so strong is due to the training she underwent after the Shaman Fight in the previous work. She was trained by Asakura Yoken, ancestor of the Asakura family, and grew into a god-class shaman. She inherited the Shikigami, Ootengu, from Yoken, and has become the strongest shaman.

3rd Place: Aluminum Nimburch

Ranked third is the heroine, Aluminum Nimburch. She serves as the general manager of Team Hao, focusing on the theme of this work, "Flower of Maze." She received training from the first Itako, Anna Osorezan, and became the third Itako, Anna. As a result, her attire closely resembles Anna's from the previous work. She excels in both combat and mental abilities, and is undoubtedly more knowledgeable about the Flower of Maze than any other character in the series. Aluminum has mastered something called "Dimensional Summoning," which is different from the Itako's technique of possessing spirits. He can somehow install other people's data and become extremely similar to them. He can also use the abilities that the person possesses. Armi, who possesses the most powerful cheating ability—he can become anyone as long as he can install it—made his way into the top three.

2nd Place: Kamogawa Yosuke

Ranked second is Kamogawa Yosuke. While not a shaman, he was chosen as the leader of Team Yarvis. Yarvis was the Shaman King before Hao, and he fights using Yarvis cards, which contain the power of Yarvis. The cards have various abilities, including military power, telekinesis, clairvoyance, prophecy, and time stopping. Just hearing about his list of abilities sounds powerful. His time-stopping ability, in particular, is a truly powerful one, capable of stopping everything except Kamogawa and Yarvis. As a mysterious character, he likely has many more hidden tricks. Depending on his future performance, he may even make it to the top of the list.

1st Place: Shiva Sahasranama

Taking the honorable top spot is Shiva Sahasranama. He's not a shaman, but a divine character, the god of destruction, one of the supreme deities in Hindu mythology. He reigns supreme among the god-class spirits. His spiritual power is astounding, at a whopping 120 million. In a world where even tens of millions are considered powerful, a character with over a billion has finally appeared. This alone makes him worthy of first place, but there's also a flashback scene that fully demonstrates Shiva's strength, as he defeats the Gandhara members and Sati loses her will to fight and surrenders. Will a character surpass his spiritual power in the future? If so, what kind of character will it be? I'm already looking forward to seeing what kind of character it will be.

Strongest Character Ranking Summary

Based on the current strength of the characters, I've introduced the top 5 strongest characters. This ranking was based on "SHAMAN KING FLOWERS" and the previous work. However, the Shaman King series also includes spin-offs, so if you've read those, your ranking may change. If you're interested, why not check out the spin-offs? They might even serve as a preview for next year's anime! That's all for today. Thank you for reading.
