The fifth season of the hugely popular anime "Senki Zesshō Symphogear" has finally been confirmed! The Symphogear series has been airing since 2012, and in addition to its star-studded cast, it is an unusual series that focuses on the theme of "song," and continues to enjoy popularity to this day. In this article, we'll be introducing the villain, Noise.
Who is Noise?

They were first recognized as an unknown entity 13 years before the main story begins. Apparently, they're even mentioned in school textbooks. They suddenly appear in large numbers from space and attack only humans. Furthermore, anyone they touch turns to ash. They're difficult to communicate with, and their rampage often causes significant damage to the body. While it's unclear if this is the origin of their existence, they've been recognized as a "disaster." Symphogear is an essential countermeasure.
Countermeasures against Noise
Symphogear users exist as a countermeasure against Noise. Currently, there are seven surviving Symphogear users. Two Symphogear users have died in the series. This means that Symphogear is not an absolute countermeasure against Noise, and even Symphogear users must fight for their lives. Furthermore, in "Symphogear G," the Japanese government released an overview of Symphogear, but kept the identity of the users secret. However, Maria transformed herself during a live broadcast, marking the first public appearance of a Symphogear user.
Noise Damage in the Story

We're introducing the first Noise damage in the story. A large number of Noises suddenly appeared at Kanade and Tsubasa's concert venue. They attacked the fleeing audience. Some were touched, turning to ash... Others were pierced... The Noises that appeared this time came in all sizes, and in shapes ranging from humanoid to butterfly and caterpillar-like. Noise also spits out things from its mouth as a direct attack. Furthermore, after Noise's rampage, buildings collapsed, causing increased damage.
Indirect Damage Caused by Noise

Noise's damage doesn't end with direct damage. The protagonist, Hibiki, is also an indirect victim of Noise. Hibiki somehow survived the concert venue incident two years ago thanks to Kanade's help, but at school she became the target of cruel gossip, with people saying things like "you get money just for being a victim of noise" and "it's a waste of your parents' tax money." It's sad that she'll be pursued even if she survives...

Naturally, noise victims include both those who died and those who survived. The surviving victims are the targets of jealousy and resentment from the family and friends of the deceased. Stones are thrown through the windows of houses, and insulting signs are posted on homes... With these kinds of things happening, I think the indirect damage is quite frightening. The effects of Noise bring misery to everyone involved.
Solomon's Staff: Controlling Noise

The Staff of Solomon, a perfect relic, can summon and freely control Noise at will. Its owner was Fine, who received it from America for research purposes. Fine's true identity is a consciousness sleeping within Sakurai Ryoko, who was present at the experiment 12 years ago when Kazanari Tsubasa accidentally awakened Ame no Habakiri. She was hostile towards Hibiki and the others as they used Solomon's Staff, but in the end Ryoko regained consciousness and told Hibiki to "believe in the song in your heart," before shattering into pieces.

Fine, who once fell in love with a god, sought to become his neighbor. However, God not only refused to allow humans to reach the same heights as him, but also deprived humans of a unified language. This is known as the "Curse of Baral," which God placed on humans. As a result, humanity, unable to communicate with one another, sought to kill rather than join hands. As a result, they created a weapon of massacre that only kills humans.
