The fifth season of the hugely popular anime "Senki Zesshō Symphogear" has finally been confirmed! The Symphogear series has been airing since 2012, and in addition to featuring a star-studded cast, it is an unusual work that focuses on the theme of "song," and continues to enjoy popularity to this day. So, today we'll introduce the "Symphogear Users," the young ladies who fight against the Noise.

Hibiki Tachibana

The protagonist is Hibiki Tachibana. She fights with her fists. Like a typical protagonist, she's straightforward and has a strong sense of justice. However, she has a harsh past due to the effects of the Noise. She's rescued by Kanade and inherits her "Gungnir." Each song she sings has a powerful impact, with a pop and bright melody. Her image color is yellow, evoking the image of a sunflower bathed in sunlight, creating a lively, energetic vibe.

You could say it all began here. Hibiki vaguely watches Kanade fighting for her life. She later inherits Kanade's Gungnir, and in her heart, the image of Kanade she sees here is what she aspires to be as a Symphogear user. I think the feelings of admiration she felt for the beauty and the way she fights for someone are immeasurable. For this reason, I deliberately chose to pick Hibiki's best scenes from when she was still an ordinary person, rather than when she was a Symphogear user.

Recommended Character Song: "Gungnir the Spear"

The melody is cool, and in a word, it feels like a perfect character song for Hibiki. It's a cool and passionate song that sings of Hibiki's straightforward and honest thoughts and wishes. It's a song you'll want to listen to when you're feeling positive and overwhelmed.

Amou Tsubasa

After losing her former partner, Kanade, Tsubasa fought the Noise alone, truly a true defender girl. When Tsubasa first met Hibiki and saw her Gungnir, he realized that Gungnir belonged to Kanade, and that it was filled with memories of their painful training and the two of them, leading to a mutual dislike of the two. However, as they interacted, they reconciled. His fighting style was truly that of a defender. His main weapon was a sword.

To reclaim Nehushtan's armor and demonstrate his resolve as a defender, Tsubasa sings a final song. It's a battle that seems to settle old scores. And after the battle, Tsubasa's appearance is awe-inspiring. The scene with blood gushing from his eyes and mouth shows just how dangerous Zesshō Symphogear is, and many fans were shocked by his horrific appearance. The shocking nature of this scene makes it the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Tsubasa.

Recommended Character Song "Zettō: Ama no Hagakiri"

The melody is simply awesome. I think this song captures Tsubasa's noble demeanor. The lyrics evoke a scene of someone slashing everything with a sword, giving off a cool and strong impression, as if sweeping away any feelings of weakness. Rather than just getting excited when you listen to it, it makes you feel strong, so it's great to listen to before a crucial scene!

Yukine Chris

Attracted by Fine, she aims to "crush those with power and put out the seeds of war." She initially appears as an enemy of Hibiki and Tsubasa. However, she is actually being used, and when she is no longer needed by Fine, she flees. What she really wants to do is "help people." Remembering this feeling, she reconciled with Hibiki and the others. Her fighting style is a shooting style using a Gatling gun.

In a desperate situation, with a fragment of the moon falling to Earth... Hibiki sings her heart out, followed by Tsubasa and Chris. It was at this moment that Chris found a true friend. This scene frees her from the curse of her past, which had her constantly hurting others and hating herself, and it's the catalyst for her rebirth as a kind person like her parents. This scene is so moving that even the cast members have cited it as a classic!

Recommended Character Song: "Ichiival the Demonic Bow"

The melody has a rock feel. The intense rhythm is reminiscent of Chris's attack technique, gunfire. This song has a lot of phrases like "I'll deny it," which I think is a reflection of the past self, who always hurt me and hated me, and also of my enemies. It's an intense, upbeat song with a strong message, which really ignites your competitive spirit. A highly recommended song.

Maria Cadenzavna Eve

As a diva, she fluttered her skirt during a live broadcast of a concert collaboration with Tsubasa, creating a Noise and declaring war on the world. At first, she used the Black Gungnir, but it was stolen by Hibiki. Later, she used the accordion-like Agateram. After hearing Serena's words, "Don't hide your true feelings," she sang a song to save people. She eventually reconciled with Hibiki and the others and became their allies.

After Serena told her, "What do you want to do?" and "Don't hide your true feelings," she sang a song. Her singing voice and emotions reached the entire world, uniting people's hearts. Afterward, she took off to the battlefield where Hibiki and the others were. This is a memorable scene, as it was the first time Maria took action to make her heartfelt wish come true.

The melody is powerful, like a military song. The lyrics also express passionate feelings directly. The song also contains many phrases that convey a strong determination to become a villain for the sake of justice. It's a heartwarming song that screams out the unyielding core of one's character.

Tsukuyomi Shirabe & Akatsuki Kirika

A duo who travels with Maria. The two are now almost a perfect pair, and they captivated the audience with their beautifully synchronized rendition of Zwei Wing's (Kanade and Tsubasa) ORBITAL BEAT. Maria and Issei were initially enemies of Hibiki and the others. Shirabe and Uta had differing opinions about Dr. Well's hardline approach, and they fought. In the end, they reconciled despite being hurt by each other. Afterwards, they went to the battlefield where Hibiki and the others were, saved them from danger, and reconciled with Hibiki and the others.

These two characters end up fighting due to a difference of opinion. However, they both love and care for each other. They express their deep feelings for each other as they wield their weapons. In the end, they sacrifice themselves for each other because they care about each other so much. This battle shows the depth of their bond, making it a classic scene that is synonymous with the two characters.

Recommended Character Song: "Edge Works of Goddess ZABABA"

This song is a duet between Uta and Shirabe. They alternate singing, each conveying a message to the other. The melody has a good tempo, and despite the threatening lyrics, it's a mysterious song that sounds heartfelt. Fans of song and tone will definitely love this song!
