I can think of several works that I think are similar to Samidare: Planet With. In terms of the artwork, balance and fusion of serious and comedic elements, and the similar atmosphere of battle fantasy, I would say Zatch Bell, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. While the atmosphere is similar, reading through the content reveals that Zatch Bell is a fast-paced, passionate battle, while Samidare is somewhat mystical and emotionally stirring. Essentially, they are quite different. While the exteriors are identical, the content is actually quite different.
What other works are similar to Samidare: Planet With? Part 2: GANTZ
The second work is GANTZ, which was serialized in Young Jump. It is similar in that players are given special abilities and fight alongside other players in life-threatening battles.
