The original novel was a huge hit, and the anime has aired two seasons, with the third season scheduled for the summer of 2018. Overlord is full of hidden settings, and one of the best parts of Overlord is figuring them out with information that occasionally comes out. So, this time, we will introduce the original nine people who founded the guild Ainz Ooal Gone, which has been around since the beginning of the story.

What is Nine's Owl Gone?

When the story of Overlord begins, the name of the guild is Ainz Ooal Gone, but before Ainz Ooal Gone was created, it was a clan called Nine's Owl Gone. Nine players, including the main character Momonga (Ainz), belong to this clan.

The origins of Nine's Owl Gone

At the time, there was a powerful job that could be obtained by killing a certain number of aberrant species, and hunting aberrant species was popular in the game. Because of this, the other races stayed shut up and did not leave the field that was advantageous to them. However, Touch Me hated playing the game while shrinking himself, so he created Nine's Owl Goal to proactively go out and help the other races. He helped Momonga, who was being hunted by other races, and made him his friend, and seven other people joined, making a total of nine people. After that, as the number of friends increased, they founded the Guild Ins Ooal Gone.

Momonga is in awe of the cape and wants to wear it when he wears armor. He has a heroic personality that suits the word justice. He's very scary when he gets angry. He has a fulfilling life in the game, but in real life he is also a winner with a beautiful wife, daughter and wealth.

His strength is his profession, which is a warrior-type profession called [World Champion]. It is the strongest profession, so much so that it is said to be an official cheat, and in the web version the author says, "He is a real cheat in both the game and real life." He is ranked third in Yggdrasil's player strength. Even if all of Nazarick's guardians were to face him, the chances of victory would be low. However, he is so strong that he is weakened in the book version. He is the creator of the Nazarick NPC [Sebastian].

Only a few members have seen what they are like inside, so they are shrouded in mystery. It has become customary for them to shout "shitty management" when fighting using paid items. Nishiki Enrai was also the one who discovered the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick.

Strength of Nishiki Enrai

Specialized in stealth and attack, his defense is paper thin. He himself says that defense is garbage. Originally a searcher, his attack power is strong enough to be a firepower player. His weapon, Susanoo, boasts the strongest damage in the guild, and when combined with stealth, he can deal the highest damage in one hit. He is the creator of the Nazarick NPC [Narberal Gamma].

He joined Nine's Owl Goal because he admired the strength of Touch Me, who boasted the strongest strength in Yggdrasil. However, his goal was to defeat Touch Me, and he did not neglect his hobby of making weapons in order to win. However, Touch Me retired before the weapon was completed, and he lost his goal. His appearance is unknown because it has not been drawn, but since his species is Nephilim, he is thought to be a giant. He loves fighting, but is basically a good person.

The Strength of the Warrior Takemikazuchi

When he founded Ainz Ooal Gone, he was the second strongest after Touch Me. In terms of physical damage, he is the strongest in the guild, but his defense is low. He fights by using two types of large swords, called Ninotachi Irazu. He can use more powerful combos by fighting with his allies than by fighting alone.

After being reincarnated in another world, he uses the name of the guild, but in the game Yggdrasil, he is called Momonga. As he is an undead, he looks like a skeleton. He wears a long robe that reaches the ground and has flashy decorations. Although he has a generally gentle personality, he has a habit of thinking about pros and cons, and will not do anything that is not beneficial to Ainz Ooal Gone. Furthermore, he will ruthlessly eliminate anyone who harms Ainz Ooal Gone. He is very caring towards his friends, and after being reincarnated into another world, he treats the NPCs created by his past friends like children.

After being reincarnated in another world, he boasts almost invincible strength. He is specialized in magic, so he is not good at hand-to-hand combat. However, Momonga's strength lies in his ability to thoroughly research his opponent's information and overcome potential weaknesses with strategy and tactics. This is evidenced by his one-on-one victory over Shalltear, who is superior in terms of ability. He did not have this talent from the beginning, but acquired it as a result of learning from past guild players. Being able to grasp so much information is what makes Momonga so strong.
