The headquarters of the Guild Ins Ooal Gorn, the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick, has several floors, and invading players are greeted by NPCs on each floor. These NPCs are called Floor Guardians. The Floor Guardians are beings created by the Supreme 41, and Shalltear is an NPC created by Peperoncino, one of the Supreme 41, and protects the first to third floors of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Shalltear's species is said to be a True Ancestor vampire. Shalltear has an appearance reminiscent of a vampire, with pale, bloodless skin, silver hair, sharp teeth, red eyes and a beautiful face. She exudes the aura of a being that transcends humans and is not of this world. In human years, she looks young, about 14 years old, so there are many people who let their guard down and approach her, and she wipes them out in an instant. Despite her childish demeanor, Shalltear is strong and beautiful, and very cute.
Shalltear loves Ainz

All the floor guardians worship Ainz and have sworn their loyalty to him. Among them, Shalltear also has feelings of love for Ainz. Perhaps because of this, she often fights with Albedo, who also loves Ainz, over the position of First Lady. Furthermore, it seems that everything Ainz does to Shalltear makes her happy, and when she was made Ainz's chair as punishment for her mistake, she was happy as if it was a reward. Ainz's favorite thing about her is her skeleton.

Shalltear is not called stupid, but she is said to be one of the less intelligent guardians. Even among the guardians, there are many times when Shalltear's words are not taken seriously because "it's what Shalltear says." It is also very cute when she says something completely off the mark and Ainz points it out, or when she shows her feelings of embarrassment and frustration.

The floor guardians have various abilities and stats, and their strengths vary. Shalltear boasts the strongest among the floor guardians. Shalltear's stats and skills are specialized for attack, and there is no guardian who can win in a one-on-one battle. The same can be said for Ainz, but Shalltear's weakness is that she ignores the fact that she is strong and underestimates her opponents. While Shalltear only uses overwhelming force rather than thinking, Ainz is able to defeat the superior Shalltear using every means and strategy. However, if she learns to learn, no one will be able to match her.

The armor that Shalltear wears when fully equipped is "crimson full body armor" and it is very cool. Usually, she wears a black dress, but when she enters battle mode, Shalltear wears bright red armor from head to toe, and she has the atmosphere of a fighting woman. The usual silly Shalltear has completely changed and is very cool. This crimson full body armor is legendary armor and is inferior to divine equipment, but the weapon, the Spyder Lance, is divine equipment.

Shalltear was brainwashed due to Shalltear's mistake, and fought Ainz and lost. After being resurrected, she was depressed when she was told about it. Ainz said that it was his mistake and that it was wrong to punish Shalltear, but this made Shalltear feel even more guilty. Ainz heard from Albedo that punishing Shalltear would be a way to ease her guilt, so he ordered her to become his chair as punishment, but Shalltear instead saw it as a reward and was happy about it. It was adorable how stupid she was, happy to be made into a chair.

When Shalltear is covered in a lot of blood, a skill called "Blood Frenzy" is activated. This is the only weakness of the strongest Shalltear, and although her attack power increases dramatically, she loses control and kills enemies indiscriminately. On the other hand, it won't activate if you aren't covered in blood, so if you use a dropper lance or something to absorb blood while fighting, you'll be fine. However, Shalltear's appearance when she goes into a blood frenzy is terrifying. This is apparently modeled after a lamprey.
The voice actress of Shalltear is Sumire Uesaka

The voice actress who plays Shalltear is Sumire Uesaka. She has a very high and distinctive voice, and you can tell it's Uesaka at a glance. She is also active as a singer, and her live tickets sell out immediately. Her most well-known works include Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions (Sanae Tokomori) and Fubuki (Fubuki) in Kantai Collection. She is a very popular voice actress. I can't imagine anyone other than Uesaka playing Shalltear.
