My Maid is Too Annoying! is a popular series currently being serialized in Monthly Action. It was originally written by Nakamura Kanko and was finally adapted into an anime in October 2018! The catchphrase for the series is "A perverted fighting housekeeper vs. a Russian elementary school student - a heartwarming home comedy?" and exactly as the catchphrase suggests, it is a comedy that depicts the hectic daily life of the strongest maid and a young Russian girl. The Takanashi family lost their mother to illness. Due to her busy schedule, the father decides to hire a housekeeper, but the daughter, Misha, refuses to accept any woman other than her mother. Misha harasses the housekeeper in every way possible, forcing every housekeeper to quit. A new housekeeper arrives at the Takanashi household. Her name is Tsubame Kamoi. She is completely different from the previous housekeepers. With her arrival, Misha's peaceful daily life falls apart, and every day becomes a battle of all-out resistance.

A second-grader in elementary school, Misha's classmate, Mimika is a slightly reserved girl who wears glasses. Misha affectionately calls her "Washiwashi." Although she generally lacks self-confidence, she has a very kind personality and is Misha's best friend and understanding friend. Washiwashi is voiced by Sayaka Harada. Since her voice acting debut in 2015, she has appeared in numerous productions, garnering popularity, recognition, and talent. Notable roles include Sayaka Sumino in Aho Girl and Miyu Mifune in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls.

Among the many unique characters in My Maid is Too Annoying!, both in good and bad ways, Mimika is one of the few with common sense. Although she looks simple, that makes her rare and cute. I recommend her to gentlemen who like little girls with glasses (lol). She has a kind personality, and is now Misha's precious best human friend, Washiwashi. I'm sure it will be tough for her to get caught up in all the different characters in the future, but I hope she doesn't get discouraged and keeps trying her best.
