My Maid is Too Annoying! is a popular series currently being serialized in Monthly Action. It was originally written by Nakamura Kanko and was finally adapted into an anime in October 2018! The series' tagline is "A perverted fighting housekeeper vs. a Russian elementary school student - a heartwarming, unsettling home comedy?" and exactly as the tagline suggests, it is a comedy that depicts the hectic daily life of the strongest maid and a young Russian girl. This time, we'll be introducing Takanashi Yasuhiro, the slightly unreliable breadwinner of the Takanashi family.

The Takanashi family lost their mother to illness. Because her father was busy with work, he decided to hire a housekeeper, but his daughter, Misha, refused to accept any women other than her mother. Misha harassed her in every way possible, forcing every housekeeper to quit. A new housekeeper arrives at the Takanashi household. Her name is Tsubame Kamoi. She is completely different from the previous housekeepers. With her arrival, Misha's peaceful daily life falls apart, and every day becomes a battle of all-out resistance.

Misha's father and the person who hired Tsubame. He's generally a sensible person with normal sensibilities, but when it comes to his beloved daughter, he becomes a bit of a doting father, which is a shame. Although he is Misha's father, he is a stepchild and is not related by blood. He prefers to be called "Dad," but instead calls him "Yasuhiro," which doesn't seem very dignified.

Takanashi Yasuhiro is played by Masayuki Kato, a popular veteran voice actor who has been active since 2002. He has appeared in many anime in both main and minor roles. His most notable roles include Kenji Makabe in Space Brothers and Demiurge in Overlord.

He's a very generous father! He's a kind-hearted man who turns a blind eye to both his daughter's and his maid's eccentricities and always tries to see the good in them. Tsubame in particular can be quite a hassle for him, but he still trusts her. Looking at it from another perspective, he may seem like just a sweetheart, but with so many eccentric characters, a conscientious presence like this is necessary.

Misha is Yasuhiro's wife's stepdaughter, so they aren't actually related by blood, but he still dotes on her like his own daughter. Although he's a good father, Misha sees him as a bit unreliable. Even so, he dotes on Misha and takes delight in everything she does, which is surprisingly similar to Tsubame's and is a nice touch. I don't think it's possible at the moment, but if Yasuhiro and Tsubame were to get together it would be a very difficult family situation for Misha, but it seems like they'd be fun nonetheless (lol).
