Moriarty the Patriot is based on Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective novel, Sherlock Holmes, and stars Holmes's greatest rival, Professor Moriarty. Professor Moriarty uses his overwhelming intellect to commit the perfect crime to punish aristocrats who cannot be punished by the law, exposing scandals and portraying people as a righteous thief, but of course he cannot commit the perfect crime alone. William James Moriarty, the "Crime Lord" who changes Britain through crime
The protagonist of this work is Professor Moriarty himself, the original Sherlock Holmes. A handsome man with a devilish intellect, he is Holmes's greatest nemesis and rival. He published a paper on the binomial theorem at a young age and possesses the intellect to become a university professor. As a side job, he provides advice to citizens, solving their problems. However, his true identity is that of a crime consultant, providing perfect criminal plans to those who have suffered at the hands of corrupt aristocrats and helping them seek revenge.

Originally an orphan, Albert, noticing his intelligence and ideas, adopted him on a whim with his younger brother, Louis, and a friend. Because of his lowly social status, he was discriminated against by his parents, brother, and servants. Even as a child, Albert had doubts about class society, so he conspired with Albert to murder his family and servants in a stunt that faked a fire, then took his place as his younger brother, William. Therefore, his real name is unknown.
Albert James Moriarty, Commander of the Secret Intelligence Service "MI6"
William's older brother and de facto supporter. He served in the British Army and steadily rose through the ranks, eventually becoming commander of the newly established Secret Intelligence Service, MI6. Officially, he retired from the Army and founded Universal Trading Company. Behind the scenes, he manipulates spies operating both domestically and internationally. While carrying out orders from the UK through Mycroft Holmes, he also fully utilizes the organization's power to carry out William's plans.
A Nobleman Who Hated the Class System
From a young age, he despised the nobles who relied on the class system, looked down on workers, and acted selfishly, as well as his parents and younger brother, who were the very definition of noble. He discovered an orphan with a genius mind and a penchant for evil, and adopted him. He then murdered his parents, younger brother, and servants in what appeared to be an accidental fire, usurping William's position and status as head of the family and replacing him with the real William and the orphan.
Louis James Moriarty, William's younger brother
William's younger brother, he usually manages the estate and handles government affairs on behalf of the head of the family, Albert. He is devoted to William and is extremely devoted to anything related to him. In times of crisis, he also joins the execution team. He previously suffered from heart problems and was in poor health, but underwent surgery after being adopted by Albert and has since made a full recovery.

Despite his aristocratic background, he joined the military and rose to the rank of colonel, but his unit was annihilated in an apparently mysterious attack. He himself is considered killed in action and promoted two ranks. He then becomes the sixth spy under Albert and William. Officially, he works as a servant for the Moriarty family, but behind the scenes, he acts as William's right-hand man.

As a former soldier who served in the Afghan War, he has high combat abilities and excellent initiative. He is particularly skilled with firearms, and often acts as part of the execution squad. Although he is a violent man, originally from aristocracy, he is able to adapt his behavior to suit the situation. He is also popular with women, and is therefore adept at gathering information.
Fred Pollock, Crime Advisor
On the surface, he works as a servant for the Moriarty family, but behind the scenes, he is the contact point for the Crime Advisor service, which receives requests from all over London, and can be said to be the criminal network itself. Though small in stature, he is physically strong and skilled in disguise. While he usually keeps his emotions to himself, when he discovers that aristocrats are kidnapping and hunting down children from the slums, he appeals directly to William and even participates in the assassination of the aristocrats himself, demonstrating his inability to ignore the oppression of the weak.
Moneypenny, MI6's Female Agent
Moneypenny is a female spy with distinctive freckles. She originally belonged to MI5 but was recruited by Albert. After the suspicious death of a former MI5 colleague, she volunteered as an intelligence analyst and began working alongside Moran. She also appears to be in charge of managing the weapons in Q's workshop.
Codename "Q," Chief of the Weapons Section, von Herder
A man working for MI6 under the codename "Q." He is blind and always wears an eyepatch and a cane. However, he possesses an exceptional knowledge and intuition when it comes to weapons, even being able to identify the place where a gun was made based on its unique components. He has his own workshop, and the weapons he makes there are kept secret as cutting-edge technology.
Jack Renfield: Master of Hand-to-Hand Combat
Jack Renfield was the butler of the Rockwell family, where the three Moriarty brothers took refuge after a fire. He was the one who trained the brothers in murderous techniques and also served as Moran's mentor. He was originally a master of hand-to-hand combat during the Afghan War, and was reverently nicknamed "Jack the Ripper" by his enemies. This is not the same person as the "Jack the Ripper" serial killer currently making waves.
Former Irene Adler: James Bond
A popular American stage actress, she became the target of an assassination attempt after learning of a scandal in Britain. Her intellect rivaled Holmes's and her mastery of disguise, she eventually made a deal with William and Albert to publicly declare her dead, secretly taking on the name "James Bond" as a spy and working for William. James Bond is based on a famous spy novel, also familiar from the film.
