The first season aired in January 2023, with the second season scheduled to air in July! New Character #1: Tsukumogami Gagakuryo "Tsumedan"
One of Kyoto's three major Tsukumogami, Gagakuryo. This Tsukumogami, a stringed instrument in the form of an old woman, skillfully manipulates strings during battles to protect the city of Kyoto and even performs guerrilla concerts throughout the city. Like Tsuzumi and Fukie, she is a musical instrument Tsukumogami, possessing an impulse to play music and share it with others. Following the appearance of the Karakasa Tsukumogami and the attack on the Nagatsuki family, she becomes Botan Nagatsuki's guardian.
New Character #2: Tsukumogami of the Gagaku Dormitory, "Tsuzumi"
One of Kyoto's three major Tsukumogami, the Gagaku Dormitory. A large, male Tsukumogami with a bold personality, he works alongside Tsumedan and Fukie to protect Kyoto and engage in musical activities. His driving force is his desire to make all living things hear his music, and to that end, he has a rock-inspired style that rebels against and destroys the circumstances he finds himself in. In combat, he excels in hand-to-hand combat.
New Character #3: Tsukumogami Gagakuryo "Fukie"
One of Kyoto's three major Tsukumogami, the Gagakuryo. A young, flute-playing Tsukumogami with a calm demeanor. He's easily misunderstood due to his mean gaze, and is often stopped by the police for questioning. By manipulating the tone of his flute, he can put humans to sleep, and he can also use the flute's tone to control humans and Tsukumogami in battle.
New Character #4: Tsukumogami Strawberry "Shigure"
A Karakasa Tsukumogami that appeared in the streets of Kyoto. It attacked Nagatsuki Botan and her friends in the middle of Kyoto, trapping them in another dimension and attempting to draw out the Marebito within Botan. He was later sealed away by Heima and the wedding furniture who rushed to the scene, but... He calls Nagatsuki Botan his master and plots to manifest a living god.
New Character #5: Tsukumogami Straw-Shaped Demon "Tenhi"
This Karakasa Tsukumogami appeared during the attack on the gate guard. It takes the form of Hyoma's older brother, Ki Hayato, and takes over his body after killing him. During the attack on the gate guard, it disappears, stating that the biggest miscalculation in its plan was Hyoma's presence. It has no ego of its own; it is a completely separate entity, a Tsukumogami of the sworn enemy Hyoma has been pursuing.
New Character #6: Tsukumogami "Kaze"
A male Tsukumogami, this Karakasa Tsukumogami appeared alongside Tenhi. He appears during the gate guard attack, overpowering Hyoma and Tsubaki along with Fubuki. He then disappears along with Tenhi, Shigure, and Fubuki.
New Character #7: Tsukumogami "Fubuki"
A female Tsukumogami, Fubuki is the Karakasa Tsukumogami that appeared alongside Amano. Like Kaze, she appears during the attack on the gate guards, overpowering Hyoma and Tsubaki, before disappearing with the others.
New Character #8: "Yakumo Sumire"
The next head of the Yaguchi family, one of the Three Great Saigan families alongside Gi and Tsuji, is a one-eyed girl and the daughter of the current head, Yaguchi Kokudan. After a certain incident, she is dispatched to protect Nagatsuki Botan. She is earnest, has a strong sense of justice, and cannot tolerate mistakes, but her fundamentally straightforward and inflexible nature means she can become confused when her arguments are directly contradicted. She shares a personality similar to Hyoma's. While living together with the Nagatsuki family, they are attacked by something...
New Character #9: "Shirayuri Tsuji"
She is the next in line to become the guardian of the Tsuji family, one of the Three Great Saigan. She joins the guardianship of the Nagatsuki family at the same time as Yaguchi Sumire. Despite her refined appearance, she is considered incapable of taking on Tsukumogami despite possessing the Saigan. She even claims to be poor at fighting, but the true essence of her powers seems to lie elsewhere. While she always maintains a gentle expression, her true intentions are shrouded in mystery. When guarding Nagatsuki Botan, she acts with her own unique goals.
New Character #10: "Yakumo Ebony"
He is the current head of the Kyoto-based Yakumo family, one of the Saigan Gosanke (Three Great Houses). He is suspected of an incident that occurred within his jurisdiction. He is so brazen that he not only refuses to take responsibility for the attack on Nagatsuki Botan, but even claims to have contributed to exposing the troublemakers. He is also extremely combative, and has even attempted to use force in meetings mediated by the heads of the Gosanke (Three Great Houses). When Yakumo Sumire was attacked and injured at the Nagatsuki household, he detained and interrogated Heima and the wedding furniture.
New Character #11: "Tsuji Toyoharu"
The current head of the Tokyo-based Tsuji family, one of the Three Great Saigan Families. She's a gentle-natured old woman, but her personality is not always straightforward. At the joint meeting of the Gi and Yachimichi families, she maintains a neutral stance to prevent conflict between the Gi family, which prioritizes mediation among the Tsukumogami, and the Yachimichi family, which prioritizes control. At her suggestion, she proposes sending the heads of the three Great Families as guards for Nagatsuki Botan.
New Character #12: "Yakumo Benihi"
She is the wife of Yakumo Kokudan, the current head of the Yakumo family, one of the Three Great Families, and the mother of Yakumo Sumire. She serves as Kokudan's bodyguard during joint meetings of the Three Great Families. A muscular woman, she is the chief executioner of punishments. She is taciturn and faithfully follows Kokudan's orders.
According to Tsumedan of the Gagakuryo, she is a once-in-a-lifetime powerhouse who is considered a demon child even within the family.
New Character #13: Jingai
A tall man who served as guard for Tsuji Toyoharu at the joint meeting of the Three Great Families. He is so powerful that he was able to stop Yaguchi Kurodan from using force, and is known as Jingai's master by powerful figures, including Kurenai. He joins the subjugation force against the Straw Hat Pirates, but...

A powerful figure who serves as Gi no Zohei's bodyguard during the joint meeting of the Three Great Families. He is a cousin of Hyoma, and Hyoma calls him Su-san and is fondly called him. He joins the Waraza Mawari subjugation force alongside Zohei, Tsubaki, and others...
