Episode 1 #01 Hyoma - The problematic protagonist who hates Tsukumogami!
This work features spiritual beings from another world who possess and incarnate themselves in old objects in the present world. These beings are called "tsukumogami" and come in a variety of forms. They are beings from another world, and their characteristics vary widely. Some are confused when they suddenly arrive in the present world, while others wish to return or try to adapt to life in the present. However, some tsukumogami are drawn to the properties of the objects they possess, causing them to go out of control or commit evil acts.
Episode 1②
A clan known as the "Saigan" acts as mediators for these "tsukumogami," sometimes guiding them and sometimes sealing them away with force. The Saigan's job is primarily to mediate between the tsukumogami through dialogue. However, Heima Ki, the next leader of the Ki clan, one of the three great Saigan families, is a terrible problem child who, upon finding a tsukumogami, attacks them without question and attempts to seal them away by force.

Hyoma's beloved older sister and older brother were murdered by tsukumogami, and he makes no effort to hide his hatred for them. When Hyoma visits the Nagatsuki household, he witnesses how Nagatsuki Botan and the Tsukumogami of the wedding furniture interact with each other as if they were real family. However, Hyoma believes that Tsukumogami and humans are fundamentally incompatible, and it is completely unthinkable for a Tsukumogami to treat a human girl as its master. Hyoma believes that Botan is being deceived by the Tsukumogami and urges her to wake up, but...
Episode 2 Part 2
Botan and the wedding furniture had a strong relationship of trust. Naturally, Botan strongly opposed Heima, and as a condition for staying with her, she was given three days to come to terms with the wedding furniture. If she failed to meet the condition, she was told to leave immediately. If that happened, Heima would be banished from the Ki household, as promised by Zohei.
Episode 2, Part 3
The wedding furnishings have been granted exceptional freedom by serving as kin hunters and acting as deputies for the Sairen. As Hyoma works with one of the furnishings, "Nagi," on kin hunts, and assists with "Kagami" and "Suzuri" in the final examination to grant special status to the friendly Tsukumogami "Yagen," Hyoma begins to understand why they follow Nagatsuki Botan and pretend to be human.
Episode 3 #03 Overflow
Last time, Hyoma helped out with the wedding furnishings and received signatures from Nagi, Kagami, and Suzuri for his freeloading. However, the problem arose: how to get a signature from Yui, who is extremely overprotective of Botan and quite hostile towards Hyoma. In fact, Yui harbors strong resentment towards Hyoma for making Botan cry, leaving him completely unreachable.

While accompanying Yui and performing his duties as a substitute for the Saigan, a pair of aptitude tsukumogami suddenly attacked Hyoma and Yui. Sensing this, Nagi and the others joined Yui and the others, but Yui accidentally tied up Hyoma and held him captive. These hostile tsukumogami were dangerous beings who harbored hostility toward Nagatsuki's tsukumogami and have even killed people.
Episode 3, Part 3
After learning that the Tsukumogami had killed someone, Hyoma broke free from Yui's strong restraints and killed the four Tsukumogami in an instant. At that moment, Hyoma revealed his hatred for the Tsukumogami and seemed to enjoy destroying and killing them. While Hyoma's hatred for the Tsukumogami was deep-rooted, he began to show signs of change through his interactions with the Nagatsuki family. And this could potentially lead to saving Botan as well.
Episode 4 #04 Secret Agreement: Kizohei and the Secret Arrangement for Wedding Furnishings
After collecting the signatures of "Nagi," "Kagami," "Suzuri," "Yui," "Haori," and "Hako," Hyoma was finally allowed to live with them. Hyoma's perception of Nagatsuki's tsukumogami was beginning to change, but he felt it was too early to trust them. He was hoping to determine whether he could place his trust in them over the next year, but in fact, the tsukumogami had also been trying to determine something over the past year.

A secret agreement was made between the Nagatsuki family and Kizohei. The Nagatsuki family would also evaluate Hyoma for a year to determine whether he was worthy of being Botan's husband. Their ultimate goal in preparing the wedding was to find a suitable match for their master, Hotan. Hyoma remained completely calm, watching Botan's face turn red after revealing this and acknowledging Hyoma as a potential husband. However, deep down, she was incredibly distraught.
Episode 4, Part 3
When Botan meets Hyoma again, she apologizes for the trouble she caused him, including the forced matchmaking, to which Hyoma replies, "What a nuisance." Meanwhile, Nagi and the others are pursuing the remnants of the aptitude Tsukumogami's Hikakera, but it's all a bluff to get Botan alone, and the real Tsukumogami attacks her.
Episode 5 #05 Suspicion: Nagatsuki Botan's Secret
After Botan is attacked by a tsukumogami, Hyoma rescues her and, as a countermeasure, places powerful barrier talismans around the mansion and the surrounding area. However, the mansion is protected by the powerful barrier of the box, so this only serves as a nuisance. Hyoma then sets out to retrieve the talismans. Meanwhile, Kizohei, Haori, and Hako come into contact with one of Kyoto's three great tsukumogami, the large armor "Kaku."
Episode 5②
As Hyoma goes about removing the barrier talismans, two Tsukumogami suddenly appear before him. They are "Oze" and "Uchi", special Tsukumogami who specialize in internal investigations and espionage. Wary of the Ki family, who have contacted Nagatsuki, the two attempt to force them to reveal their intentions. The situation is on the brink of explosion, but Yui intervenes and Hyoma, who pretends not to know anything, leaves the scene.
Episode 5③
The attack by Aegis and the others and their lack of defense against Botan lead us to realize that Nagatsuki Botan is hiding some kind of secret. There is an unwritten rule regarding Nagatsuki Botan, both from the perspective of a human and a Tsukumogami. The reason Aegis and the others took action was because they broke the unwritten rule of "not using Nagatsuki Botan."
Episode 6 #06 Peony: Do Not Use Nagatsuki Botan
To confirm his suspicions, Hyoma strongly urges Botan to go out with him. Confused by Hyoma's misleading words and actions, Botan flees the scene and tells Haori and Kagami, who happen to be there, the true meaning of his words. It was the true meaning of the word "possession" that Ogi had said.

Hyoma wants to know why Botan is being targeted, so for some reason, Haori asks him out on a date. In reality, it wasn't a date; they were tailing Botan, but Hyoma witnessed the countless gazes directed at Botan.
