[MIX] Mitsuru Adachi's baseball manga! A simple synopsis!

Synopsis: Meisei Academy Junior High School

The story is set at Meisei Academy, the same school as Touch. It's set 30 years after Touch won the Koshien tournament. After their Koshien victory, Meisei Academy has been struggling. The story centers around Tachibana Souichirou and Touma, second-year students in the middle school division of Meisei Academy. The older brother Souichirou is the catcher and Touma is the pitcher. However, because Nikaido, the son of the president of the supporters' club, is in the middle school, the coach has decided that Touma is not allowed to pitch. At the beginning of the story, Touma plays third base. At the beginning of the story, Nikaido is thought to be the villain, but in fact he has a heart condition. He undergoes surgery after the tournament, and the surgery is miraculously successful. However, he is no longer able to play baseball. His father and the coach, who is a friend of his father, know about Touma's illness. The coach had been letting Touma pitch as the ace pitcher for the sake of Nikaido's father, who is his friend and president of the supporters' club.

The protagonists are the Tachibana siblings. They come from a somewhat complicated family background. The older brother, Souichirou, and his younger sister, Otomi, are biological siblings. Their father was a former ace pitcher at Meisei Academy, but injured his shoulder. He has since passed away. Their younger brother, Touma, has a father who was a perennial reserve pitcher. Their biological mother has since passed away, but she was apparently a famous softball pitcher. When Souichirou and his brother were six years old, their parents remarried, making them brothers. Souichirou and Touma were classmates and shared the same birthday. However, they are not twins. Originally, Soichiro and Touma competed for the ace position when they were young, but Touma eventually became the ace and Soichiro became the catcher.

After graduating from junior high, Soichiro and Touma move on to high school. There, they are joined by a new coach. Oyama is a friend of Touma's father and was also his battery partner. With the addition of Soichiro and his teammates, Meisei Academy becomes much stronger, but they lack pitchers. The heroine, Otomi Tachibana, seems to be in love with her stepbrother, Touma. Meanwhile, Soichiro's brother, Haruka, is drawn to the coach's daughter. However, Haruka met Touma as a child, and is portrayed as having special feelings for him. However, that remains a mystery. While there are many people who fall in love with Otomi, such as Natsuno and Akai, I suspect she will end up with Touma, just like in Touch. It's still unclear, though.

This is also quite complicated, but Akai Ryo, who loves Otomi, has a crush on Akai. His brother, Akai Tomohito, is the cleanup hitter for Kenjo High School, and the two are actually stepbrothers. Mita Arisa, who also has a crush on Akai Ryo, is the brother of Mita Hiroki, the ace pitcher for Tohide High School, who made it to the top eight at the summer Koshien tournament.
