However, all traces of Ui's existence have completely vanished, leaving no trace whatsoever.
Meeting with Tsuruno and the Summoning Shrine
In order to find clues about Ui, Iroha decides to investigate Kamihama City in earnest. She meets Tsuruno Yui, the daughter of a Chinese restaurant owner. To help Ui, Tsuruno enlists the help of Yachiyo Nanami. Yachiyo is well-versed in the rumors surrounding Kamihama City, and as they discuss the matter, the three begin to suspect the "Summoning Shrine" is suspicious. On the votive tablet at the Summoning Shrine, Iroha writes Ui's name, and Yachiyo writes the name of her old best friend, Mifuyu. As rumored, the two appear, but they are far from the real thing. Furthermore, they are attacked by the horse monster who is the shrine's master, putting them in dire straits.
Meeting and Betrayal with Felicia
Iroha, who wandered into the Artisan District of Kamihama City, was offered a drink of "Owl Lucky Water," a water said to bring good fortune, and she drank it. The other person who drank the Owl Lucky Water was a magical girl named Felicia Mizuki. After drinking it, the two were blessed with incredible good fortune wherever they went. Felicia, a paid mercenary, offers to become Iroha's personal mercenary and join her in searching for Ui. However, Felicia is later recruited by an organization called the "Wings of Magius," and she betrays Iroha and her friends and joins the group.
Rumors and an Encounter with Sana
Iroha moves into Mikazuki House and transfers to a school in Kamihama City. Having difficulty adjusting to her new school, Iroha ends up eating lunch with Rena, a classmate who is also isolated. As they talk, Iroha hears rumors from Rena about an "invisible man" and "the end of solitude." She then hears rumors about a "radio wave girl" from Tsuruno. Feeling that all the rumors are connected, Iroha decides to reply to the suspicious emails that keep arriving. The sender of the email introduces herself as Ai and tells Iroha to come to "the end of solitude." A girl named Futaba Sana is being held captive at "the end of solitude." Sana is eventually released, and Ai disappears of her own accord.
Yachiyo's decision, and then...
Iroha was invited to join the Wings of Magius, but declined and joined forces with Yachiyo. Believing that she was the cause of the misfortunes around her, Yachiyo told Iroha that Team Mikazuki-sou was being disbanded. While pursuing Kuroe, Yachiyo was confronted by her former best friend, Azusa Mifuyu. Mifuyu, a member of the Wings of Magius, insisted on the necessity of the Magius' plan. Yachiyo then found Iroha and successfully retrieved her. Iroha, Hayachiyo, and Kuroe head to the Magius' headquarters.
Battle with the Magius
Finally, they enter the Magius' headquarters, only to be confronted by Yui Tsuruno and Tomoe Mami, who have become Magius warriors. Both have been brainwashed, losing their sense of self and are completely under their control. Confused by the two attacking their allies, Iroha and her friends are unable to fight effectively. Meanwhile, in Kamihama City, magical girls were gathering as part of Magius's plan. The city was facing a dire situation, with the largest supercell in history approaching and due to make landfall in six hours. The supercell's true identity was Walpurgisnacht, said to be the most vicious witch of all time.
The Outcome of the Fierce Battle
Tsuruno, who had merged with the Rumors, was defeated and safely freed. Enraged by the ruin of their plan, Magius' Touka dispatches a massive army of Rumors. However, Nemu Hiiragi, a fellow Magius, is confused by Touka's behavior. It seems that things are proceeding in a different direction than Nemu had anticipated. Meanwhile, Iroha finds herself in a strange world. There, she meets a magical girl named Meru, who is a fortune teller. Hoping to see Meru, Iroha gradually begins to recall the events of the past shown to her by Touka at the Memory Museum. This concludes the synopsis of the second season.
