When Eris first appeared, she was a violent, spoiled young lady.
Rudeus had heard that Eris was "a bit of a spoiled girl." He was introduced to Eris as a teacher to teach magic, but... his first impression was "harsh." And his second was "violent." After just a short conversation, Rudeus was slapped for being "insolent despite being younger." Rudeus slapped her back without flinching. When she tried to lecture him, saying "Do you understand my feelings a little?", she unleashed a right straight without giving him a second thought. Then Eris mounted Rudeus and beat him to a pulp from the mount position.
Even though she's been beaten up since childhood, Eris remains strong-willed.
Rudeus met Eris when she was only 9 years old (Rudeus was 7). Eris was selfish and completely unruly, so Rudeus concocted a fake kidnapping to scare her. However, this plan escalated into a real kidnapping, and Eris was repeatedly stomped on in the face, leaving her unable to move. Even when she was covered in blood and unable to speak properly, Rudeus remained stubborn, saying, "I will never forgive you. I'll tell Grandfather..." However, in the final moments, the situation becomes hopeless and she finally turns to Rudeus for help. The kidnapping incident turns out to have been masterminded by a servant at the Boreas household who had been cruel to Eris, and with Ghyslaine's help, the situation is resolved amicably.

The kidnapping incident is resolved amicably, and it seems like they'll be parting ways. However, Eris can't stop thinking about the magic Rudeus used, so when she returns home, she acknowledges Rudeus and decides to take him on as her tutor. Here too, there was some fuss over how to ask, but even Eris couldn't resist her grandfather and ended up making a humiliating request pose... Thus, Eris and Ghyslaine began to learn magic, arithmetic, and reading and writing from Rudeus. She also began learning swordsmanship from Ghyslaine along with Rudeus. Even at this point, Eris showed greater talent in swordsmanship (her level was on par with that of a senior swordsman).
Eris's 10th Birthday Dance
Being able to dance is important in this world, and Eris also began intensive dance training for her 10th birthday. However, her dancing didn't improve at all... Even on her actual birthday performance, her steps were too sharp and she couldn't dance properly. Rudeus arrived and told Eris to close her eyes, saying he would cast a spell on her that would enable her to dance. Hearing her say, "I know you're lonely, so I'll sleep with you," Rudeus tried to contain his urge to pounce on her like Lupin. However, when she asked him if he might do something naughty, he was met with a "a little bit is okay," and he went berserk. He hugged her shoulders, kissed her cheek, and pushed her down onto the bed while groping her breasts. Just as he reached for her thighs, he overstepped the "a little" mark... He slapped her, followed by a spinning kick, and finally stomped on her four times, successfully knocking her out.
Go to the Demon Continent with Rudeus
On the day of the Fittoa Territory Transfer Incident, Rudeus embraced Eris, and the two of them were transferred to the Demon Continent together. At this point, Rudeus had been here for about three years. While Eris's magical skills hadn't improved that much, her swordsmanship had reached the rank of advanced swordsman. Since intermediate knights are considered average knights, Eris's abilities at age 12 were comparable to those of a knight. However, she's still a child inside. When she saw Ruijerd of the Supard tribe on the Demon Continent, she screamed and cried. (She'd been taught since childhood that the Supard tribe was fearsome.)
Eris Grows Wilder and Wilder
Since arriving on the Demon Continent, Eris has grown even wilder. Previously, she was a tomboyish young lady, but now that she's lost her title, she's just a tomboy. She singlehandedly slashed down monsters from the Demon Continent, covered in blood, and munched on strange ingredients with gusto, saying, "I've always wanted to try something like this." Afterward, Eris and her friends headed to the guild and began their adventures. The three formed a party called "Dead End." Eris became famous, earning the nickname "Mad Dog Eris."
Discover Eris's weakness?
Eris had been fearless up until this point, but she discovered her weakness in an unexpected place: seasickness. Eris had never even seen the ocean before coming to the Demon Continent, so it's understandable, but she collapsed on her first boat trip. Rudeus' healing helped ease her headache. Incidentally, after this, they had to board the boat once more, and this time too, when Eris asked for healing, Rudeus said, "I might do something naughty," to which she replied, "I guess it can't be helped. Just a little bit..." When they first met, Rudeus called himself AA, but by this point he had grown so much that it was hard to know where to look.
Eris is fully aware that she loves Rudeus
Up until this point, we already knew that Eris loved Rudeus, but this scene is when she became so aware of it that she even became aware of it. During a battle in the Great Forest where the Beast Tribes live, Rudeus is seriously injured. Arriving late, Eris stays by Rudeus's side as he collapses and remains awake. When Rudeus wakes up, her tension seems to break, as she bursts into tears, asking, "What will I do if Rudeus is gone?" When Rudeus saw this and called Eris "someone important to me," Eris's attitude changed... She looked away, her heart pounding, and her face was clearly in love.

This line could be interpreted as a marriage proposal. Normally, this would be a moment of great joy, but... it was Eris's 15th birthday, and the day she learned of the deaths of her parents and grandfather. She also parted ways with Ruijerd, who had escorted them to the Fittoa territory, on this day. Though she was reunited with Ghyslaine, for Eris, it was the day she lost all of her blood relatives. On Rudeus' 10th birthday, they had promised to marry when he turned 15, two years earlier than expected. However, on this night, the two finally united.
Eris Leaves Rudeus
It seemed like a happy ending for the two, with Rudeus uniting them! But when Rudeus woke up the next morning, Eris had vanished, leaving only her long hair behind. She set off with the hopes of gaining the strength Rudeus deserved and becoming a true family the next time they met... but Rudeus didn't quite get it, and this incident would traumatize him for years to come. By the way, in this scene, Eris cuts her hair short, but the story jumps forward two years, so her hair soon grows back. Long-haired fans, don't worry (lol).
