As of volume 5 of the manga, the series doesn't have many characters, but it still features several fascinating heroines. In addition to the main heroine, Demon Lord Echidna, there are also beautiful, mature women, childish lolitas, and even a crossdresser... This time, we'll introduce the series' charming heroines in a ranking format.
Sixth Place: Dearnet
In sixth place is Dearnet, a subordinate of Stina. She's a dark elf who was taught how to supply magical energy by Lord Onyx. She's a very cute character with a great figure, but because she barely appears (so much so that there's no reference image for her), I've ranked her sixth. She's always worried about the busy Stina, and when Lord Onyx asks her to take Stina's place, she eagerly accepts the task of supplying magical power. When she reports to Stina, she looks pleased, saying, "I hope I was able to help even a little."
Fifth Place: Canaan
In fifth place is Stina's apprentice, Canaan. Canaan is a cursemaker (sorcerer) and a succubus skilled in restrictive magic, which allows her to manipulate the actions of others. A high-ranking magician, Canaan is a junior executive, second only to the Four Heavenly Kings. While a capable member of the Demon King's army, her personality is disappointingly perverted. While succubi are naturally drawn to men, Canaan's only interest is her master, Stina. As a result, she has no interest in men, and instead bribes the bathroom attendants to peek at Stina's bathing and indulges in various fantasies. (In her diary, she even calls her "Onee-sama" rather than "Master"). In the dungeon she created, she created several magical dolls of Stina, making them call her "Master." Canaan first appears in the manga in volume 4, and it's unclear whether she'll be adapted into an anime, so she ranked fifth. (As of March, her name was not even listed in the cast.)
Fourth Place: Julietta
Our fourth place pick is Julietta, the daughter of the Four Heavenly Kings' super-muscle-brained Dragon General, Edvard. Unlike her father, she thinks things through and acts with a clear mind. She serves as Edvard's second-in-command. She's incredibly intelligent, the complete opposite of Edvard. When Edvard went berserk after a subordinate's mistake and threatened to commit suicide, she consulted Leo, not the Four Heavenly Kings, for advice. As a result, Leo resorted to a drastic measure using a machine golem (mechanical giant), and Julietta joined in the operation. Together, the two successfully changed Edvard's mind. Although she's an excellent adjutant, she's still a young girl and seems inexperienced when it comes to romantic matters. When she accidentally saw Leo and Echidna holding hands, she frantically looked away, her face bright red.
Third Place: Lili Alyosha
Our third place pick is Lili Alyosha, the Beast General of the Demon King's Four Heavenly Kings. A girl with animal ears and a fluffy tail, after losing to Leo, she no longer hates him like Echidna did, but instead spends her days proposing to him. Words like "stupid dog girl" and "idiot girl" perfectly describe her, and she is something of a mascot character among the Four Heavenly Kings. When Leo conducts his second interview for the Four Heavenly Kings, Lili welcomes him warmly from the start. She imitates Leo, plays with him, hugs him and asks him to marry her immediately. (Despite this, she still calls Leo "Big Bro"...) Leo always brushes her off by saying "Maybe when you're a bit more grown up," but Leo also unconsciously strokes Lili's head, so it seems he thinks of her as a cute little sister... or perhaps a cute pet.
Second Place: Echidna
My second place pick is the main heroine, the Demon King Echidna. Although she's a respectable adult, she was "punished" by Leo after his defeat and was transformed into a young girl. When Leo first came to take the Demon King's army recruitment exam, she immediately refused, but over time they gradually reconciled. After the Philosopher's Stone incident, she welcomed Leo into her comradeship, and the two quickly became closer. Echidna's cutest trait is the contrast between her appearance and her personality. At first glance, she may look like a childish demon king, but she's actually an adult, so she drinks alcohol and has a very clear way of thinking. One of Echidna's charms is that she always considers those around her, regardless of whether they're friend or foe. However, she's a terrible actress, and when she tries to forgive Canaan for causing trouble by going out of control, she gives a terrible performance. Even Melnes looks dumbfounded, saying, "What's this...?"
First Place: Stina
Our top pick goes to Stina, the Demon General of the Four Heavenly Kings. She's responsible for the show's sex appeal and has the hardest job. Although she is a succubus, she is quite naive when it comes to love and romance. Whenever Leo asks her to kiss him as a reward, she blushes and becomes distraught. She is usually a reliable person who does her job perfectly (overworked), but she also has a clumsy side. She seems to have a particularly bad time waking up, and when someone tries to wake her up, she reacts like a child, saying "Nooooo." She has one of the nicest bodies in this work. Even though she uses drinks and incense, she is able to charm Leo and make him do her bidding. (A succubus who is weak against receivers but strong against attackers)
Extra: Melnes
To introduce this as an extra, we have Melnes, the Demon King's strongest assassin. Although he's a male character, I've included him as an extra, but if he were included in the rankings, he'd be ranked number one. He initially cross-dresses as a waitress to train his communication skills, and even after the training is over, he regularly appears in waitress guise. His voice actress is Yumi Uchiyama, so perhaps he's actually a female character as the story progresses...? If that happens, I'd like to introduce her as number one again (lol).
