This work, "For example, a story about a boy from a village before the last dungeon living in an early town," or "Last Dungeon" for short, contains many comedy and romance elements, and the battle scenes are generally over quickly because Lloyd is so strong, so they may not leave much of an impression... but this work is ultimately a story about Lloyd trying to become a fine soldier and become stronger! In the anime version, Lloyd probably doesn't encounter any enemies that pose a threat to him, but there are still plenty of battle scenes. So, this time we'll be ranking who is strongest in the last dungeon! We'll be introducing not only Lloyd, but also some fierce warriors who are even stronger than him!
Tenth Place: Marie (Maria Azami)
Our pick for tenth place is Marie, also known as Maria Azami. While she may have the grandiose nickname "The Witch of East End," her combat abilities are practically the same as those of an average woman. (Though, given that she was raised as a princess, her abilities may be even lower...) Her strengths are her "uncursing runes" and "endurance." Marie became Alluka's apprentice to learn the runes of exorcism, and her years of training under the eccentric Alluka have earned her a level of perseverance that could almost be called a weapon (lol). The runes of exorcism she learned to save her father, the king, were powerful enough to corner the Demon King, even if they were low-level. While only useful in special situations, this is also one of her strengths.
Ninth Place: Alan Toyn Lidocaine
Our ninth place pick is the always-pitiful Alluka, Allukan Toyn Lidocaine. Alan comes from a local noble family and had a combative personality, such as openly lashing out at Selene, who was known as Princess Belt, until his outlook on life changed after meeting Lloyd. He's a power type who wields an axe so large it's difficult for an ordinary person to hold, and is a typical muscle-brained guy. However, after learning of Lloyd's strength, his personality mellows out and he shows the ability to defeat a certain level of monsters on his own. Despite being such a good-looking guy, Alan is always treated roughly... When practicing healing magic, Selene and her friends beat him up so much that his image is blurred out, and he is used as a guinea pig for healing magic, he collapses in the sauna due to nervousness before an arranged marriage meeting, and the women generally ignore him.
Eighth Place: Kikyo
In eighth place is Kikyo, the Jack of All Trades. True to his name, he'll do anything if hired. While he usually poses as a carefree employee, he first appeared in the main story, employed by the Lidocaine family to gather information on Trent. As a jack of all trades, he's no stranger to combat, having performed dangerous tasks. He's also skilled in close combat, as seen in his backdrop against Selene, where he dislocates her joints to escape danger. He's likely trained extensively.
Seventh Place: Selene Hem-Aen
In seventh place is Princess Belt, also known as Selene Hem-Aen. She appears early in the story and later plays a role similar to that of the main heroine, serving as the protagonist's potential girlfriend (stalker). However, in terms of strength, this is a reasonable ranking. Despite being a local noble, her sword skills are so impressive that they are known even throughout the Azami Kingdom. However, she is completely ignorant of magic, having only begun learning it since arriving in the Azami Kingdom. Her companion is a cursed belt! Initially, as its name suggests, it was wrapped around Selene's head as a "curse," but after the curse was lifted, it became a powerful ally that automatically protected Selene from those who would harm her. There's another reason why Selene is so strong - when Lloyd gets involved! When she found Kikyo getting involved with Lloyd, she immediately attacked him, crying tears of blood. When Kikyo was about to be forced into an arranged marriage with someone other than Lloyd (Alan), she even tried to put an end to him as soon as they met.
Sixth Place: Riho Flavin
In sixth place is Riho Flavin, a former mercenary with a mithril prosthetic arm. Before enrolling in the military academy, he committed various crimes as a mercenary, and his combat experience far surpasses that of Lloyd and Selene. In this work, a skilled character will sense Lloyd's strength at first sight and fear or attack him. However, Riho also knew from experience that Lloyd was a dangerous character at first sight. His attacks are primarily magical, using his mithril prosthetic arm for close combat, but he has already mastered basic magic. She's probably capable of using all elemental magic at beginner levels. Riho often plays a role in stopping a rampaging Selene, and she's a strategist who plans her tactics in advance and isn't afraid to use suicide attacks in must-win battles.
Fifth Place: Mena Kinon
In fifth place is Mena Kinon, the older sister of the Kinon sisters. While she's often overshadowed by her younger sister, she's an expert in water magic and can even use the advanced spell, Daedal Wave, which Riho uses to intimidate others. Her strength is so overwhelming that Alan is left speechless just by watching her techniques. At the Magic Tournament, she uses a ruthless fighting style, such as creating a water ball and attaching it to her opponent's head, suffocating them. (While a normal magician could escape from a water ball, Mena's level magic makes it impossible.) However, since she focuses entirely on magic, her defenses are not very strong, and she was knocked unconscious in one hit during her fight with Lloyd.
Fourth Place: Philo Quinon
Fourth place goes to Philo Quinon, the younger of the Quinon sisters. His fighting style, which involves no weapons and only close combat, was created by Pirido in Konlon Village, and he does not use any magic whatsoever. He is a battle maniac who is generally expressionless and will attack immediately if he spots a strong opponent. He is skilled in martial arts, and has a wide variety of professional wrestling moves, including hold-ups, throws, and the ultimate avalanche Frankensteiner. His attacks are also powerful, and he has even broken two of Lloyd's ribs with a kick. He is one of the few normal humans who would not die if Lloyd were to fight him seriously, and would probably be the strongest person in the world if Konlon Village were not involved.
Third Place: Lloyd Belladonna
Our third place pick is the protagonist of this work, Lloyd Belladonna. He exudes an aura that is instantly recognizable to anyone who sees him. His overwhelming strength means he mistakes monsters for pests or animals, tearing them apart and throwing them away... Even low-level demon lords can be defeated with the use of runes, as if they were cleaning a house. He is undoubtedly the strongest human living in the human settlement in the series. However, in Konlon Village, he's the weakest, unable to even defeat the ladies... He began learning the basics of magic other than runes when he attended the Azami Kingdom military academy, but was quietly banned from using any magic other than Aero, as they were deemed too lethal to humans. In the Magic Tournament, he fights using his weakest wind magic, Aero.
Second Place: The Residents of Konlon Village
Second place goes to the residents of Konlon Village. It's not a matter of who's the strongest, but rather that all of the residents are legendary, more powerful than Lloyd and capable of fighting the Demon King and the Calamities. Most are descendants of heroes, and all are undoubtedly legends. Pirido, the founder of the "Demon God Pirido's School" used by Filo, is also a resident of Konron Village. When Lloyd is quickly defeated in a sword fight, suffering multiple fractures all over his body, he tells Lloyd, who heals completely in about a day, "You should be able to heal that in three hours," and all the wood and fish used in the village are monster-grade, threatening to destroy the world. In short, all of the villagers are extraordinary humans. Because of their strength, they do not get involved in human conflicts, and the village is known among the people as a world of fairy tales.
Number 1: Alluka
Topping the list of strength is Alluka, the village chief of Konlon Village. Though she looks like a child, she's actually quite old inside, making her the village chief. She's immortal, never aging or dying, and her magic is so high-level it could destroy the world if she so desired. (In fact, when she found out Lloyd had fallen in love with someone, she summoned a dragon to try and destroy the world.) While she's often clingy to Lloyd and often behaves silly, she also displays her extraordinary magical powers, such as when she caused countless meteorites to fall from the sky when Lloyd interrupted her date with him. Even in the comics, he has yet to be shown in a serious role, so his true abilities remain a mystery.
"Last Dungeon" Strength Ranking Summary
So far, I've introduced the "Last Dungeon" strength rankings, and as expected, the top spots are dominated by residents of Konlon Village, including Lloyd. Ranking each individual would fill the top 10 spots with Konlon Village residents, so I've summarized them... (lol) This ranking excludes the monsters commonly found in Konlon Village, such as Trent. The rankings would change slightly if monsters and demon lords were included. (I omitted this because it would have resulted in monsters everywhere except those connected to Konron Village.)
