In the Dragon Ball series, it's generally known that Bulma's father is Dr. Briefs. However, there doesn't seem to be much that stands out about her mother. As such, it feels like Bulma's mother doesn't appear very often. So, I'd like to take a deeper look into Bulma's mother.
Bulma's Mother's Personality

When I look at Bulma, I get the impression that she's an active person who acts on her thoughts without considering the atmosphere around her. One might assume that her mother is the same, but surprisingly, that's not the case. Bulma's mother is gentle and naive. And yet, she goes at her own pace. She seems like the complete opposite of Bulma. Having always seen her mother as a laid-back person, Bulma is, in contrast, active and unashamedly forthright. However, I think they share a similar laid-back attitude. They're mother and daughter, after all.

She's said to look younger than her actual age. That's fine, but it's a bit of a problem that she's a bit of a fangirl. That's because she likes good-looking men. I think this is one of the reasons why she looks so youthful. Also, even after giving birth to Buruma, she may have wanted people to see her as a woman rather than a mother. So she must have been working hard behind the scenes to achieve that. Still, it's amazing that she hasn't aged for such a long period of 30 years. At the same time, I'm envious of her.
Bulma's Mother Surprises Vegeta

Even Vegeta, her partner, seems surprised by Bulma's mother's naivety. Vegeta, of course. He's the one who goes on dates with Goku without even thinking about his own situation. Bulma's mother is the type who immediately takes action when she sees something important. She may be sociable, but there seems to be a limit to her abilities. Because of this, Vegeta seems to dislike Bulma's mother a little. And Goku's son, Gohan, also says he doesn't like her. She's so naive and goes at her own pace that others can't keep up with her. However, Bulma's mother doesn't seem to notice this. I don't know if she really doesn't notice, or if she's just pretending not to notice. Still, I think she's definitely popular with men.
Actually, she had an older sister too

Bulma also had an older sister. Given Bulma's personality, she might seem like an older sister, but she was actually the second daughter. Bulma's mother gave birth to and raised two children. Her older sister's name was Tights. She was a sci-fi adventure novelist, and apparently she didn't come home often. Bulma keeps creating things over and over again until she invents something. Her sister, Tails, is a novelist, so she also writes. Although their genres are different, I think they have something in common in that they both create things. When I see things like this, I feel like they are truly sisters. Perhaps Bulma saw Tails writing novels and that inspired her to want to create and invent things.

I touched on Bulma's mother. Her personality was the complete opposite of Bulma's. That's why Bulma seems more energetic and proactive. Bulma grew up watching her mother, who always went at her own pace. So, from Bulma's perspective, her mother's behavior may seem completely natural. I was also surprised by how youthful her mother was. From Bulma's perspective, she's happy, but at the same time, her eyes are drawn to good-looking men, so she seems like a risky mother. Vegeta, who married Bulma, who grew up in such a household, must have had a lot of difficulties. Did he know that Bulma's mother was like that before they got married? I was also surprised by the existence of her older sister. She raised two children. I hope that Bulma's mother will remain youthful no matter how old she gets.
