Yamato Ishida (CV: Daisuke Namikawa)
He's a cool boy for a fifth-grader. He's a mysterious boy who arrived in the network space where Taichi encountered Agumon before him. Although he is quiet and often misunderstood by those around him, he actually has a kind side and is considerate of others so as not to get them into danger. He often disagrees with the hot-blooded Taichi, but is a reliable presence who will support him in times of need. He has a younger brother named Takeru, whom he cherishes very much. Yamato's voice is provided by Namikawa Daisuke, who has voiced many handsome characters. Some of his notable works include the role of Oikawa Tooru in the "Haikyu!!" series and Mori Ogai in "Meiji Tokyo Renka." In the original series, Yamato was played by Kazama Yuto.
Yamato's Partner Digimon: Gabumon (CV: Mayumi Yamaguchi)
This Digimon is in its growing stage and is covered in white fur with blue lines. It appears to be a reptile, like Agumon, but the inside of its fur is never revealed. It has a shy and kind personality, and understands Yamato better than anyone. When it reaches maturity, it evolves into Garurumon, a warrior known for its speed. Yamato-loving Gabumon is voiced by Mayumi Yamaguchi, the same voice actress as the original. Her most notable role is Envy in "Fullmetal Alchemist."
Sora Takenouchi (CV: Ryoko Shiraishi)
A fifth-grade elementary school student and childhood friend of Taichi, Sora's charming blue knit cap is her signature feature. Her bright and easygoing personality makes her a big sister type girl who is loved by the girls around her. She is actually the daughter of a flower arrangement master. The mature voice of Sora is provided by Ryoko Shiraishi. Her notable roles include the protagonist Hayate Ayasaki in "Hayate the Combat Butler!" and Kazua Onizuka in "SKET DANCE." Yuko Mizutani originally voiced Sora.

Koushirou is a fourth-grade elementary school boy who lives in the same apartment building as Taichi. He is incredibly tech-savvy for a child, carries a computer with him, collects and analyzes all kinds of information, and supports everyone. He is shy and speaks politely to everyone. Koushirou is voiced by Yumiko Kobayashi. She made waves in 2018 when she was selected to play the main character, Shinnosuke Nohara, in the "Crayon Shin-chan" series. The original voice actor was Arumi Tenjin.
Koshiro's Partner Digimon: Tentomon (CV: Takahiro Sakurai)
This ladybug-like Digimon speaks in a mysterious Kansai dialect. He's a cheerful, upbeat character, but occasionally has a cool catchphrase. He's very protective of the young Koshiro. When he transforms into an adult Kabuterimon, his defenses increase. Tentomon is voiced by the highly popular voice actor Takahiro Sakurai. He's been in charge since the original series, so he continues to voice Tentomon in a Kansai dialect. His notable roles include the popular 2020 role of Giyu Tomioka in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," the eldest son Osomatsu Matsuno in "Mr. Osomatsu," and Suzaku Kururugi in "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion."
Joe Kido (CV: Takeshi Kusao)
Joe Kido is a sixth-grader and the oldest of the Chosen Children. Born into a family of doctors, he prioritizes studying as he prepares for his junior high school entrance exams. As the oldest, he tries to bring everyone together, but his timid nature makes it difficult. Joe's voice is provided by veteran voice actor Takeshi Kusao. His notable roles include the protagonist Hanamichi Sakuragi in "SLUM DUNK" and Trunks in the "Dragon Ball" series. In the original series, the character was voiced by Masami Kikuchi.

She's incredibly beautiful, but she's always at her own pace and prone to getting into trouble... She has a close, almost friend-like relationship with her partner Digimon, Palmon. Mimi is voiced by Marika Kono. Her most notable roles include Hinata Kamisato in "Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero" and Yumina Ernea Belfast in "In Another World with My Smartphone." Ai Maeda voiced Mimi in the original series.
Mimi's Partner Digimon: Palmon (CV: Kinoko Yamada)
This green Digimon has a large flower blooming on its head. It can extend its tentacles. When it matures, it transforms into a cactus-like Togemon, capable of powerful omnidirectional attacks! He is one of the few Digimon whose evolutions are almost completely unrecognizable. He loves Mimi and fights to protect her. Mimi's bodyguard, Palmon, is voiced by Kinoko Yamada. Her unique voice perfectly matches the image of Palmon! Her most well-known role is Kaori Shimaoka in "Ojamajo Doremi."

Takaishi Takeru is Yamato's younger brother, a second-grade elementary school student. Their parents are divorced, so they don't live together and have different last names, but they're very close. The main characters in "Digimon Adventure:" are almost identical to those in the original series. While less than half of the voice actors are the same as in the original, the characters' appearances haven't changed significantly when you watch the anime.
