"Combatants Will Be Dispatched!" is written by the same author as "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!", and like KonoSuba, it was originally posted on Let's Become a Novelist and later turned into a book and anime. The story is about a low-ranking fighter sent by an evil organization as a vanguard for an invasion of another world in order to solve the organization's employment problems. Grimm is brought back to life by the power of the evil god, but the hero, the hope of humanity, has already been defeated. The knights must take the hero's place and conquer Duster Tower to obtain an event item. During the strategy meeting, No. 6 proposes a wicked plan, but it is rejected. No. 6 watches from above as the knights attempt a conventional attack on the tower, but just as they begin to lose steam, he scales the tower's exterior and launches a surprise attack. In a desperate situation, No. 6 and Alice attempt to escape with the princess. This is a spoiler-filled introduction to the story of "Combatants Will Be Dispatched!". It covers the first volume of the manga, or three volumes of the manga. Since it's a nice round number, I think the anime will probably end around this point. It's unclear whether further developments will be shown, but perhaps they'll extend a little further.
