While on death row, he endured execution in the electric chair and successfully escaped. Wanting to know what defeat was like, he heads from the air force base to Tokyo and confronts Baki and the others. In this article, we will look at the characteristics, personality, and strengths of Doyle, who is attracting a lot of attention in the Most Evil Death Row Arc.

Doyle's appearance is characterized by his androgynous appearance. One episode that shows this is when he infiltrated the Metropolitan Police Department while cross-dressed. Doyle's fighting style is characterized by the use of gimmicks installed in various parts of his body as weapons, and he has blades, springs, and explosives installed all over his body, from his wrists, ankles, elbows, knees, arms, and chest, and attacks by exploiting his opponent's weaknesses. From the opponent's perspective, he assumes that he is coming at them with bare hands, and then suddenly a weapon appears from his body, making his fighting style extremely difficult to defend against. While other fighters base their fighting style on bare hands, Doyle is a unique fighter in that he relies on weapons.

2. What is Doyle's personality like?

Using weapons equipped on his body, he fights well against various characters. At first glance, this tactic may seem a little cowardly, but in the Most Evil Death Row Convicts arc, he fights under the rule that he can use any means to defeat his opponent, so he can't be bothered to think about how many times he swings. Doyle is a very loyal and compassionate person. In the battle with Kaioh Retsu, he was overwhelmed by Kaioh Retsu and was pushed to the brink of defeat, but Jack Hammer broke in just before he could escape defeat. After that, Kaioh Retsu was given anesthesia and was defenseless, but Doyle did not abandon him and guarded him all night, even though he was seriously injured. As a result, he almost died from excessive bleeding, but he never forgot his respect for his opponents and is extremely particular about fairness in his fights. There is also a scene where he is knocked unconscious by Katsumi Orochi many times and finally admits defeat, and forms a friendship with Katsumi through defeat. After developing a friendship with Katsumi, he tries to board a cargo ship to escape to the Middle East, but is attacked by Ryukou Yanagi. Episodes like this also reveal Doyle's personality, which cannot be seen from his fighting style alone.

3. How strong is Doyle?

As one of the most dangerous death row inmates, Doyle's strength is as impressive as that of other death row inmates, but what was his battle history in the story? First, in Tokyo, he instantly kills Rob Robinson, and defeats Noboru Shinobu by using explosives. Up until this point, he was doing well, but in the fight against Retsu Kaioh, he is overwhelmed, having his left eye crushed. He was also knocked unconscious by Doppo Orochi, and at the Shinshinkai HQ, he was knocked unconscious multiple times by Katsumi Orochi, suffering brutal defeats. At first glance, he has an impressive fighting style, but in the story he doesn't defeat particularly strong characters, and from individual episodes, we don't get a sense of how strong he is.
