"Asobi Asobase" is an anime that has been airing since July 2018, and is based on the original work by Rin Suzukawa. It is currently being serialized in Young Animal, published by Hakusensha, and is receiving rave reviews. On the surface, it is a yuri-like slice-of-life story featuring cute girls, but inside, it is full of surreal gags, dirty jokes, awful facial expressions, and black humor, making it a very controversial work in a good way. In this article, we will introduce some of the funniest scenes from Asobi Asobase that left a particularly strong impression on us. (This is purely my opinion, so please be tolerant.)

The story centers around the "Playboy Research Club," a group of three beautiful middle school girls, each with their own unique characteristics. The three girls look like beautiful girls, but inside they are all different kinds of "idiots," and contrary to their cute appearances they engage in hardcore gags, facial expressions, dirty jokes, and black humor. As they are a club that studies games, there are a few games that appear in the story, but the main focus is on the three girls messing around over things that don't really make sense. Anyway, don't be fooled by the pictures, because the content is a very high-level gag comedy (lol)

The silhouette looks strangely familiar, doesn't it? (laughs) After this, the teacher apparently licked a water called potassium cyanide and had to take two weeks off. I never expected them to include such a risqué story in the first episode, so it was a very shocking episode.

This character also looks familiar, doesn't he? (laughs) I don't know how it happened, but in order to compete with the Four Heavenly Kings of Playboy, she was given the same gal make-up, and as a result, she turned into Batman's Joker, and her lines sounded like those of a weak character (laughs)

The Asoken team has to compete in a shoe-throwing match against the Shogi club for ownership of the clubroom! Olivia's clever plan gives them the upper hand, but the Shogi club captain gets serious and unleashes her signature bicycle jump shoe jump! The jump distance is an astounding 1km! (How big is a field that is 1000m in a straight line?) And with that same momentum, the captain of the shogi club was thrown to the ground and was hospitalized with a compound fracture (lol)Ranking No. 5: Friendship Game (Episode 2)

This is the episode where Olivia reveals that she can't speak English. After getting 25 points for a careless mistake, the look on Hanako's face when he said, "I wasn't tricking you! I was just teasing you! Hanako!" (lol) I thought it would end on a happy note with their friendship deepening, but it ended with Hanako harboring a grudge from some time ago, as if to remind us that this is a show called Asobi Asobase, and it was a very funny episode.Ranking 4th place: Maeda's Curse (episode 5)

In this memorable episode where Oka-san makes a proper appearance, the Aso Club plays hide-and-seek alone with Oka-san. Surprisingly, everyone is scared, and Olivia in particular was super cute when she was so scared that her character collapsed. It was a pretty chaotic episode overall, with plenty of dirty and dangerous jokes popping out and making me laugh a lot.Ranking 3rd place: Get a germ (episode 8)

Well, it was a dirty episode as usual (lol). Just when I thought it was just dirty, they threw in a joke about Olivia's armpits at the very end, and I couldn't help but laugh. Olivia was playing with a mysterious app similar to Pokémon GO, where you find and catch germs. When Hanako held the app up to Olivia, a warning sounded and an exclamation mark appeared on Olivia's armpit... (laughs) The Wakivia episode really is a surefire hit.Ranking 2nd place: Shameless Trial (Episode 10)

It's almost Episode 10, and I thought it would lose steam, but far from losing steam, it's actually picking up steam! This is an episode you definitely want to watch, as Hanako immediately replies that it's poop, then appears in a flash dressed as a witch and starts singing in your ear about climbing the stairs to adulthood! This is something that is hard to understand without seeing the video (lol)Ranking No. 1: Equivalent Exchange (Episode 1)

It all started here, the opening made me think it was a cute girl anime, but the first minute of the series shattered all of that delusion... (lol) The original was a cover con, but this one has a brilliant opening con. As you all know, this is a legendary episode. This is the legendary episode where it was discovered that the super beautiful Olivia had body odor. However, it was not just this scene, but also the scene before that when Hanako had no smell, and the scene where he betrayed Kasumi, so it was a very funny and impactful episode overall! It was also a learning episode for all anime fans, as it was the opportunity to learn the word apocrine (lol)A summary of funny scenes!

To be honest, it was very difficult to rank the episodes, as they are all so interesting that I think they could all be ranked number one from the first episode onwards.
