The story begins when Beelzebub and Belphegor are having a tea party. Belphegor accidentally drinks alcohol but doesn't realize it. He heads alone to his room to retrieve a book he and Beelzebub want to read. However, he becomes intoxicated and collapses on the way. By chance, Azazel, Belphegor's beloved, happens to be passing by. Belphegor spots Azazel in his daze, and, having recently been having frequent dreams about Azazel, begins to believe he's dreaming. Belphegor, who usually runs away at the mere sight of Azazel, clings to Azazel's arm, determined that this is a dream. Azazel, believing Belphegor always runs away because he's scared of him, asks, "Aren't you scared of me right now?" Belphegor responds loudly, "No, I'm not." In the end, Belphegor falls asleep, and Azazel carries him to the place where the tea party is being held. This is the moment when Azazel, who had always thought that Azazel was running away from him, realizes that this is not the case, and with the help of alcohol, Belphegor is able to open up a little about his true feelings, which is a famous line that brings the two of them closer together.

Hearing this, Beelzebub seems to have thought something and leaves, saying he'll go home alone. Myurin is confused, but Astaroth says, "It's fine, you go back first," and chases after Beelzebub. Dantalion bumped into a man with a bad reputation and was getting into a tirade. Just then, Moloch happened to be passing by. Moloch responded, "Violence is not good," and the man seemed to provoke him, saying, "If you have a problem, come at me, you coward." However, Moloch remained unfazed, saying, "I won't lay a hand on you! So you hit me first." The man, irritated by Moloch's behavior, attacked him, but Moloch easily defeated him. Dantalion balked, saying, "I didn't ask for help," but Moloch replied, "You're right, but I wanted to help you, so I did. Thank you for letting me help you." Encouraged by Moloch's encouragement, Dantalion smiled and offered his hand, saying, "I'll just say thank you. Thank you. I'm Dantalion." The two became friends and have remained together ever since. It's already dark, and the downtown area is likely a place with poor security. Worried that Beelzebub might be in danger, Murin searches for him. When she finally finds him, she finds him being harassed by a rough-looking man. Murin quickly defeats the man, but he stands with his back to Beelzebub, saying nothing. Beelzebub is puzzled, so he calls out to Murin and asks if she's hurt. Instead of answering the question, Murin asks Beelzebub if he's hurt, to which Beelzebub replies, "Nothing's wrong. There's no need to worry so much, I..." However, Murin can't help herself and pushes Beelzebub against the wall, saying, "There's no need to worry! You're worrying." This famous quote shows that Murin was truly worried about Beelzebub. Sargatanas has a strong image of being cool and dignified. However, Sargatanas loves cute things, but due to his own image, he has been unable to publicly admit that he likes cute things. One day, Sargatanas hears that a collaboration cafe featuring his favorite characters, "Higedemoko Friends," has opened, but he worries about whether it's okay for someone as unattractive as him to go. Still, he musters up the courage to go. Dressed in his own inconspicuous clothes, Sargatanas heads there as soon as it opens. When he takes a seat, he sees Azazel, who seems to have happened to be in the cafe. For some reason, the two of them end up sitting at the same table, and despite everything, they seem to be enjoying the Higedemoko Friends cafe. Judging from Beelzebub's expression when he answered, Murin, who was accompanying him on the interview, seemed to be wondering something. After the interview, Beelzebub headed out to the courtyard alone, knowing he had some time before his next assignment. Just as Murin began to organize his documents, the weather suddenly turned bad and a thunderstorm began. Murin went to look for Beelzebub, finding him crouching under a roof in the courtyard. It seemed he was afraid of thunder. He pretended to be strong, saying, "I'm not scared... How could a great demon like me, the one in charge of the Pandemonium, be affected by thunder?" But even as he spoke, he seemed to be trembling. The reason Beelzebub was so afraid of thunder was because lightning struck him in front of his very eyes when he was banished from heaven. Beelzebub wondered if Murin had become disillusioned with him, but she seemed to find him adorable, even though he was afraid of thunder. It was the day a cold wave hit. Beelzebub hated the cold and was feeling down. Murin tries to cheer Beelzebub up by handing him a heating pad and talking to him about fluffy animals, but to no avail. Meanwhile, as they are heading to the conference room, Murin sees Beelzebub sneezing nonstop due to his allergies to cold and heat, and suggests that they go to the infirmary, but Beelzebub seems to say he's fine. Still, Beelzebub says, "The cold is the worst..." so Murin wraps him in her scarf, which she always wears. When Beelzebub is wrapped in the scarf, he smells like Murin and, with a blush on his cheeks, his heart pounds, saying, "I feel a bit more energetic..." He then thinks to himself, "Maybe the cold wasn't so bad after all..." This is a classic scene that depicts a pure love story, where even things you don't like become less so when they're related to someone you love.

After bringing her some snacks and making her some porridge, Azazel and Beelzebub decided to leave early so Murin could get some rest. However, Beelzebub returned to Murin's house shortly after and asked, "Um, if you don't mind staying a little longer...?"
