The anime "As Miss Beelzebub Likes" has been airing since October 2018. It is based on the manga of the same name by Matoba and has been serialized in the boys' manga magazine Monthly Shonen Gangan since 2015. Eight volumes of the book have been published to date. The story is set in Pandemonium, the administrative body of the demon world where former angels who fell from heaven live. The main character is Beelzebub, the coveted archdemon who reigns at its pinnacle. Murin wins a pair of movie tickets at the shopping district. Murin was worried about finding someone to go see the movie with, but they ended up going with Beelzebub, and both seemed excited. While Beelzebub apparently couldn't sleep a wink, Murin, on the other hand, was so worried about the date that she ended up running in the middle of the night and catching a cold. Unable to go to the movie, Beelzebub decided to visit Murin's house with Azazel, the commander of the Pandemonium special forces. Murin had a fever and was bedridden. After bringing her some snacks and making her some porridge, Azazel and Beelzebub decided to leave early so Murin could get some rest. However, Beelzebub returned to Murin's house shortly after and asked, "Um, if you don't mind staying a little longer...?" Murin replied with a relieved expression, "I was feeling a little lonely too." Later, Beelzebub, who had been dozing, suddenly wakes up to find Myurin sleeping soundly. Beelzebub tries to touch her as she sleeps, but since he has begun to worry about her, he feels he shouldn't touch her without a reason, and hesitates. Still, he thinks it would be okay to just check if she has a fever, and places his forehead against Myurin's. After taking her temperature, Beelzebub runs back to his room, where he finds himself writhing in futon. It's a heartwarming scene in which the two of them grow closer due to the mishap of catching a cold.

One day, I was walking down the hallway talking with Belphegor. When Belphegor tells Beelzebub that "Murin has a dog," Beelzebub becomes depressed, realizing that he knows nothing about her. Fearing that it might seem like he is prying, Beelzebub was reluctant to ask anything. But Beelzebub still wants to know everything about Murin. However, he is also a little scared of learning about a Murin he doesn't know, and it seems to be troubling him. His conflict, like that of first love, is one that you can't help but empathize with, making for a bittersweet and heart-warming scene.
8th Place: Unfaithful Sargatanas

Thinking that she might have angered Beelzebub, Myurin came to the playboy Astaroth for advice. Among the suggestions for a gift, someone suggested flowers. As a representative of the women present, Astaroth's attendant, Sargatanas, was asked if flowers would be a good idea. She replied, "Flowers are nice. They're gorgeous and brighten up the room." Astaroth replied, "That's right. I gave Sachiko a bouquet the other day. Pink gerberas as an apology for skipping class." Sargatanas then added, "You can just throw them away when they wither." Everyone assumed Sargatanas had thrown away the flowers. However, he then dropped something. It was a pressed bookmark made from a pink gerbera. Sargatanas hadn't thrown away the gerbera, but had instead pressed it and treasured it. It was a touching moment, showcasing Sargatanas's stubbornness.

The day Belphegor had a dream in which he confessed his feelings to Azazel, the love of his life. Belphegor was languishing in the library, thinking that he could have said he loved her in a dream. Belphegor wonders if he'll ever be able to properly say "I love you," and yearns to talk to Azazel. He tries to grab a book from the shelf, but Azazel appears to be right behind him. The tall Azazel helps him get the book he wants. Surprised by Azazel's sudden appearance, Belphegor stumbles and bumps into a stepladder. The ladder is loaded with books, and the bump causes some to fall, but Azazel shields him. Azazel seems flustered, saying, "I'm sorry... I called out to you." Seeing this, Belphegor suddenly blurts out, "I love you." However, Azazel seems to have mistaken it for a "notebook," and offers one from a nearby book to Belphegor. Belphegor then tries to say "I love you" again, but becomes so nervous he rushes to the bathroom. It's a bittersweet, heart-warming scene that will have you rooting for Belphegor, even as your heart ache over the miscommunication.

It was the day a cold wave hit. Beelzebub hated the cold and was feeling down. Murin tries to cheer Beelzebub up by handing him a heating pad and talking to him about fluffy animals, but to no avail. Meanwhile, as they are heading to the conference room, Murin sees Beelzebub sneezing nonstop due to his allergies to cold and heat, and suggests that they go to the infirmary, but Beelzebub seems to say he's fine. Still, Beelzebub says, "The cold is the worst..." so Murin wraps him in her scarf, which she always wears. As Beelzebub is wearing the scarf, he smells like Murin and, with a blush on his cheeks, his heart pounds, saying, "I feel a bit more energetic..." He then thinks to himself, "Maybe the cold wasn't so bad after all..." This is a heart-warming scene that depicts a classic love story, where even things you don't like become less so when they're related to someone you like.

One day, I visited the town to inspect the Demon World City. Even though Beelzebub is at work, he acts freely, playing with dogs and pigeons, and Murin seems to be angry at his restlessness. Seeing this, Murin gets angry at him for being so restless, but he ends up getting lost. As she searches for him, she finds him being harassed by a man in the downtown area. Murin quickly defeats the man. Beelzebub tells her, "There's nothing wrong. You don't have to worry so much, I..." but Murin pushes him against the wall and seriously tells him, "You don't have to worry! I'm worried about you." Beelzebub says, "I understand," but on the way home he doesn't listen to what Murin has to say. Murin thinks she's exaggerated, but it seems she wasn't, and when Beelzebub returns to his room, he sits on the floor blushing and says, "I was so nervous!" This scene shows that Beelzebub was genuinely worried about her, and it's a classic, heart-warming "wall-don" scene.
3rd Place: Belphegor's First Step

Belphegor, who has a crush on Azazel, wants to talk to him, but is unable to do so due to his extreme nervousness. Belphegor decides to make brownies to spark a conversation with Azazel. With the help of his friend Beelzebub, he struggles but manages to finish them. However, when he actually thinks about giving them to Azazel, Belphegor begins to feel disheartened, saying it's impossible. Beelzebub then encourages Belphegor by saying, "You probably want to talk to Azazel more and get closer to him. You've worked hard to create that opportunity. If that's the case, you have to take that first step." Later, encouraged by Beelzebub's words, Belphegor lies in wait at a place Azazel always passes by. Azazel happens to be passing by. Belphegor suppresses his urge to run away and musters up the courage to speak to Azazel. After Belphegor somehow manages to hand over the brownies, Azazel gives him a smile he doesn't usually see. It's a heart-warming scene, as Belphegor's courageous step forward brings him closer to Azazel.
Second Place: Myurin Touching Beelzebub's Hair

One day, a string of difficult cases kept them up all night. Both Beelzebub and Myurin had bags under their eyes and looked extremely sleepy. One night like that, just when they were finally finished and ready to finish, Beelzebub fell sound asleep in his chair. Murin was gazing blankly at Beelzebub's face, thinking that he must have been very tired, but it was the first time she had looked at his face so closely, and she suddenly began to feel nervous. Seeing Beelzebub turn over in his sleep, she was so taken with his cuteness that she bumped into the desk and fell over. However, Beelzebub didn't seem to wake up, no matter how much noise she made. Meanwhile, Murin was feeling agitated, thinking that she was alone with a girl sleeping in the middle of the night while at work, and that maybe it would be a good reward to watch her sleep as she worked overtime. Suddenly, she noticed that Beelzebub's hair was falling over her face, so she gently tucked it behind her ear and murmured, "Your Excellency..." It was a heart-warming scene, with Murin's feelings seemingly overflowing as she faced the defenseless Beelzebub.

Belphegor has a hard time talking to Azazel, the love of his life. Belphegor's thoughts about Azazel are so intense that he dreams of them again and again. Unlike reality, however, in dreams, it seems like they can converse normally. One day, Belphegor dreamed of making madeleines and giving them to Azazel, but he woke up just before Azazel was about to eat them. Belphegor woke up thinking, "If I'd woken up just ten seconds later, Azazel would have been able to share the sweets... I wish we could have spent a little longer together, even in my dreams..." It's a heart-warming scene that will make you root for Belphegor's bravery, and one that anyone with a crush can relate to.
