The TV anime "Overlord" aired from July to September 2015. It was so popular that in 2017, the content of the aforementioned TV anime was released as the first part, "The Undead King," and the second part, "The Dark Hero." In this article, we'll be introducing the characters of the Nazarick camp, led by the protagonist, Ainz Ooal Gorn!
What is Overlord?
Overview
Momonga (later known as Ainz Ooal Gorn), the guildmaster of one of the most powerful guilds in the original DMMO "Yggdrasil," finds himself unable to log out and transported to another world upon the closure of the service. Furthermore, the NPCs begin to develop their own sense of self, and Momonga, despite the confusion, continues to ravage the other world.

In the Real World
A salaryman named "Suzuki Satoru." Alone, single, and with few friends, he regards his friends from Yggdrasil as irreplaceable, playing games as his only hobby.
Purpose of Activities in the Other World
After being transported to the other world, he takes on the name "Ainz Ooal Gorn," the name of his guild from Yggdrasil. This represents his responsibility as a leader, and he works behind the scenes to reunite with his former guild members by making this name known and promoting it widely in the other world.
Personality
He is generally kind and dislikes conflict. However, he is merciless and exacts harsh retribution against those who harm those he has been friendly with.
After being transported to another world, due in part to his own undead status, he no longer has emotional volatility towards humans and is not afraid to commit cruel acts.
Combat Strength
He boasts unparalleled strength in the other world he is transported to. If Ainz's strength is rated at 100, the strength of those considered heroes in that world would be around 30. As a magic caster, his physical abilities are low, but he is still able to crush to death humans boasting heroic strength through sheer force alone.

As an NPC...
The heroine of this work. She is an NPC who plays an important role as a "Floor Guardian" and is the highest level in Yggdrasil, reaching level 100. Furthermore, as the "Floor Guardian Supervisor," she is the highest of all NPCs in Nazarick.
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn...
Since Momonga changed the last sentence of Albedo's flavor text from "By the way, she's a bitch" to "I love you, Momonga," Albedo's ego has emerged, demonstrating her unwavering affection for Ainz through her words and actions, even to the point of being dangerously fond of him.
Combat Strength
She is tied for third place among Floor Guardians. Furthermore, due to her role as the Guardian Supervisor, she has specialized in defense and has only acquired defensive-oriented knight classes, resulting in the highest HP and defense among all Guardians.
Shalltear Bloodfallen

As an NPC...
She is one of the NPC Floor Guardians who protect the 1st to 3rd "Tombs."
She is set as the "true" version of the vampire race, and is therefore specialized in attack.
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn...
As a necrophiliac, she harbors affection for Ainz.
Her feelings are so strong that she competes with Albedo for his legal wife.
She is also so consumed by Ainz's aura of power that it arouses her sexual desires, to the point that she is compelled to change her underwear.
Combat Strength
She ranks first among Floor Guardians and is the strongest overall. While other NPCs specialize in certain areas, Shalltear is well-balanced, capable of physical and magical attacks, support, healing, and evasion, and can perform everything except exploration. Her strength is such that Ainz said, "If we were to fight her in single combat, I don't know if I would survive."
Aura Bella Fiore

Nickname: The Competitive Chef
Position: Great Tomb of Nazarick 6th Floor Guardian

As an NPC
One of the Floor Guardians stationed on the 6th Floor, "Jungle."
She is the older twin sister of the dark elves. She guards the 6th Floor together with her younger brother, Mare.
She is one of the rare people with common sense in Nazarick, and the innocent and cheerful expression suits her perfectly.
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn...
Though she respects Ainz, she rarely expresses her feelings toward him, and instead expresses them more toward her brother. She is feared for her somewhat harsh approach toward him, but she has excellent teamwork skills and can work together with him in an exquisite way.
Combat Ability
Having trained as a Beast Tamer and Ranger, her combat ability is low. However, she commands over 100 beasts, making her powerful as a group.
Additionally, the beasts she tamed become stronger thanks to Aura's support effect. This ability to tamed beasts and their support effect protect the floors.
Mare Bello Fiore

Nickname: Unreliable Messenger of Nature
Position: Great Tomb of Nazarick 6th Floor Guardian

As an NPC
One of the Floor Guardians stationed on the 6th Floor, "Jungle."
The younger twin brother of the dark elf.
Bukubuku Chagama cross-dresses as a girl. He was created as a so-called "trap."
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn
He expresses his affection for Ainz through actions, though not words. He quickly places the ring Ainz gave him on his left ring finger, and bets a large sum at an auction to win the right to sleep with Ainz. He also participates in the battle between Ainz and Shalltear for the right to become Ainz's first wife.
Combat Strength
He ranks second among the Floor Guardians and has the strongest area-of-effect attack. He specializes in earth-controlling magic, and even outside of combat, he is highly skilled in a wide range of magic, including manipulating earth and grass to blend in with the scenery and protect the Great Tomb of Nazarick from enemies.

As an NPC
One of the Floor Guardians stationed on the 7th Floor, "Lava."
A demon assigned to serve as the NPC commander during defense.
A knowledgeable figure within Nazarick, he is on a par with Albedo, who specializes in internal affairs.
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn
He has a cruel and ruthless personality, typical of a demon, but only towards those outside of Nazarick. He respects Ainz as one of the Supreme 41 and considers him a valuable ally.
Combat Strength
His basic abilities are the weakest among the Guardians. However, in addition to his transformation ability, he possesses the "Curse of Domination," which grants him absolute control over those below level 40, allowing him to protect the floor as a Guardian.
After the relocation, this "Curse of Domination" becomes a nearly invincible skill.

As a Guardian
One of the Floor Guardians stationed at the 5th Floor, "Glacier."
His personality and design are those of a warrior, and he will show a certain amount of respect to even weaker enemies if they have the warrior's spirit.
Aside from his role as Floor Guardian, he also serves as a guard within Nazarick.
Towards Ainz Ooal Gorn
He treats Ainz like a master, as befits a warrior. He is also so loyal that he trips out at the thought of serving Ainz's child.
He is also so devoted that Ainz is convinced of the possibility of his ulterior motive, "NPC growth."
Combat Strength
Ranked third among Floor Guardians. "Strongest Weapon Combat"
In addition to skills that deal massive damage with weapons, he can also use skills and magic that deal frost damage. However, his MP and magical attack power are low.
Sebastian
Overview

Alias: Butler of Steel
Position: Great Tomb of Nazarick Butler

As an NPC
Although he is a butler and not technically a guardian, he is treated equally to a floor guardian in terms of his position.
He holds an important position, commanding the combat maid corps "Pleiades."
He is unusual in Nazarick in that he believes in helping the weak.
To Ainz Ooal Gorn
He has unwavering loyalty to Ainz. This is so great that he even confronts Ainz, even going so far as to threaten to kill villains in front of him, but is forgiven for demonstrating his loyalty.
His virtue of kindness is not "kindness" but "sweetness."
Combat Strength
He fights in hand-to-hand combat, using only his body, without the use of weapons.
His true race is a dragon-kin, and when in his true form, he boasts unrivaled strength in hand-to-hand combat.

The second season of the TV anime began airing in January 2018.
