What would you do if the person you love hugged you at the moment you were feeling down? Semimaru ends up kissing them (lol). I love the interaction between these two. Derek and the other dogs owned by Aramaki Takahiro, a member of the Winter Team, are famous dogs who risk their lives to protect their masters, even knowing they will die. The adult dogs, who had been a source of emotional support for him as he lived alone, protected him by burning the forest with their flames. When I heard that his final act of dependence on Shinmaki was a sign of goodbye, I was practically sobbing (lol). Dogs are loyal to their owners and receive so much love. How relieved Ango must have been when Ryo told him that Shigeru had said that a strong person like Ango should go to the future.
