Perfect as a talisman too! A tough-looking handsome guy!

When you think of Kabakura, you think of him as a tough guy, but also a handsome guy! However, his intimidating presence is so strong that he can scare away delinquents and inspire fear in his juniors with just his face. He's not actually scary at all, but even when he's just being himself, he still intimidates them... The delinquent who tried to hit on Narumi ran off with just the words, "Oh, I'm sorry. Can you get out of the way?"
When Narumi was hit on again by the delinquent, Hirotaka came to her rescue, but he said, "If I had a tough-looking face like Kabakura-san, I could have rescued you faster." Kabakura's tough-looking face is like a talisman. Don't forget that Narumi is actually a good-looking guy, and says she prefers Kabakura to Hirotaka!
He's so manly, I could melt!

It's no good to be tough and effeminate, but Kabakura has a strong, manly personality! One day, Narumi and Hirotaka, having forgotten their umbrellas, find themselves standing at the entrance to their company when a sudden rain shower begins. Kabakura lends his umbrella to the two and disappears into the rain, saying, "I don't mind getting wet." To which Kabakura responds, Narumi and Hirotaka remark, "It looks like it's going to melt." Afterwards, when he tells Koyanagi that he "forgot his umbrella," he gets angry, but the fact that he doesn't say he "lended it" is very manly!
The two most terrifying people? No, no, he's a considerate man!

Kabakura and Koyanagi are dishonorably dubbed the "Most Terrifying Two" by their juniors, but in reality, he's a very considerate man. At a drinking party with his colleagues, is Hirotaka eyeing Narumi? When the topic came up, Kabakura showed concern for Hirotaka, saying, "This is bad, we need to change the subject soon." Just when I thought, "Kabakura-san is so kind!", the topic of his girlfriend Koyanagi's large breasts came up, and he silenced his juniors with his proud, intimidating face. lol
He's so considerate, too! Kabakura-san is a reliable boss!

One day, Hirotaka breaks his glasses. He can't see anything unless he approaches quickly, and he ends up approaching female employees... This makes the female employees excited, wondering if he's actually a handsome guy without his glasses. Kabakura notices that Narumi is getting anxious and unable to concentrate on her work, so he tells her to take an early break and go buy some glasses. He even tells Narumi to take him with her. He seemed really annoyed that Narumi wasn't concentrating, but it's actually a very kind gesture.
She looks cute without any makeup!

When everyone had a sleepover, Hirotaka commented that Narumi and Koyanagi looked pretty similar without makeup. In response, Narumi, getting carried away, said, "You say Naru-chan is cute even without makeup? I know that, don't you?" Then, Kabakura, fresh out of the bath, appeared! Kabakura's defenseless, unstyled hair was so cute, Narumi was touched, while Hirotaka was laughing out loud, "Who is that lol?"
Is he actually the one being teased?
Kabakura-senpai has a tough look that even his juniors are intimidated by, but his position seems a little odd when he's with Koyanagi, Hirotaka, and Narumi... He suddenly gets wall-banged by Hirotaka at work, and a photo of it is taken by a pair of fujoshi girls. He also naturally gets dragged along when Hirotaka does an Evangelion parody. It seems he's quite at the mercy of the three people around him. Incidentally, in the Evangelion parody, Hirotaka imitates Ikari Gendo, and for some reason Kabakura is made to stand next to him in Fuyutsuki style. You can't help but want to interject, "Kabakura-san, you're the senior, right!?"
He looks tough, but he's not good at horror!

Kabakura may look tough, but he's actually terrified of horror movies... I'd like to believe that's not true, but he's so scared of horror rides at theme parks that he gets scared. When a slight misunderstanding led him and Narumi, both of whom are easily scared, to ride a horror ride together, Kabakura closed his eyes tightly, not wanting to see. When Narumi told him it was a waste of his money, he managed to keep his eyes open, but his terrified face was terrifying. lol
Taro-kun is scared, even scary stories!

While Kabakura has no fear of horror stories, Koyanagi has no fear at all. In fact, he even gives the rather twisted reason why he likes horror movies: he likes seeing people get scared. One day, while they were telling scary stories in Hirotaka's room, Koyanagi suddenly says that he was also paralyzed the previous day and heard the footsteps of a child running around. It seems that Kabakura had stayed over at his room the previous day, and he begins to get genuinely frightened. It was all a lie by Koyanagi, but Kabakura just laughs, saying, "That was scary, Taro-kun. Hahaha."
A closeted otaku! Who's your favorite character...?
Source: Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku ©Fujita, Ichijinsha/"Wotakoi" Production Committee
Despite his appearance, Kabakura is actually an anime otaku. He casually tells Hirotaka and Narumi, who don't need to hide their otaku status, "I'm going to buy you an Evangelion Ichiban Kuji," but it seems he hides it from non-otakus... Apparently, in high school, Koyanagi, who wasn't an otaku yet, found out that she was an otaku and threatened her, so she must be quite embarrassed about being an otaku. By the way, in Evangelion, she seems to be a Mari fan.
What present did Hanako give her?

When Narumi asked Koyanagi about last Christmas, Koyanagi said that she was in the middle of a busy New Year's holiday and had no time for Christmas, and that there really wasn't anything special. However, this year's Kabakura experience was completely different! They made reservations at a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful night view six months in advance! It seems like he was regretting what happened last year... The Christmas present that Koyanagi had prepared for Kabakura was, of all things, a figure of Akaza Akari from YuruYuri. Lol But she was really happy, so I guess it's fine for the two of them!
She was captain of the volleyball team in high school!

Kabakura is a rare breed of otaku: an athletic otaku. In high school, he served as captain of the volleyball team and even captured Koyanagi's heart with his impressive jump serve. Apparently, even that jump serve is paced to the rhythm of anime songs. Well, if I don't say it, no one will know, so let's leave it at that. Lol. Athletes are definitely attractive, aren't they?
Taro Kabakura's voice actor is a very famous person!
Source: Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku ©Fujita, Ichijinsha/"Wotakoi" Production Committee
Taro Kabakura's voice actor is Tomokazu Sugita. Sugita Tomokazu is known for his voice acting for many famous characters, including Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Sakata Gintoki in the Gintama series. Sugita's low, slightly sweet voice is the perfect fit for the tsundere character Kabakura! Be sure to pay attention to Sugita's acting when watching the anime.
A summary of the charms of Kabakura Taro!

Despite his tough-looking appearance, he's actually very considerate and loves "Yuru Yuri"! He also hates horror, which is quite a contrast and adorable. LOL She was so popular with boys that when she graduated from high school, all the people who asked for buttons were boys... But there's such a big gap between her true personality and her real one, so maybe if she showed her true self, she'd be even more popular with girls! Everyone, please enjoy Wotakoi and appreciate Kabakura's cuteness!
