"Undead Unluck" has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since August 2020, and its abbreviation is "Undera." Its powerful writing style and dynamic story have made it a popular and talked-about work, and its anime adaptation is scheduled to air this fall. Many readers are curious about the voice actors who appear in this highly anticipated series. This time, we'd like to introduce the voice actors for the main characters!

Synopsis

Fuko Izumo is a young girl who has been reclusive for a long time since an incident she experienced when she was eight years old. After her long-running shojo manga series came to an end, Kaze contemplated suicide. Kaze possesses the power of "Unluck," which brings misfortune to anyone she touches. She encounters a man known as "Undead" (nicknamed Andy), who despises a life where death is impossible even if one wishes, and instead seeks the ultimate death. The two become friends, and to fulfill Andy's wish, they join an organization called the Union. Kaze and Andy embark on an adventure where they face various enemies and mysteries.

Moe Kahara (Izumo Kaze)

The protagonist, Izumo Kaze, is voiced by Moe Kahara. He fell in love with anime through the "Sailor Moon" and "Pretty Guardian" series. When he learned that his favorite novel was being adapted into an anime, he began thinking about what character voices meant and decided to become a voice actor. He began studying acting after entering high school and began working full-time as a voice actor in 2020. He's only been a voice actor for a few years, so I hope he continues to take on a variety of roles and gain recognition!

Yuichi Nakamura (Andy)

Yuichi Nakamura voices the other main character, Andy. He's been appearing in various works since the early 2000s and has been a popular voice actor since his early days. He has played a variety of roles, from cool to crazy. Not only has he appeared in many films, but the characters he plays are also well-known, making him one of the most well-known and popular voice actors. He is also such a big gamer that he says he could play games all day long. In the past, he qualified to compete in the Virtua Fighter national tournament, but apparently declined because he would have had to pay for his own travel expenses. If the opportunity arises, I would love to see Nakamura compete in a gaming tournament again!

Natsuki Hanae (Shen-Xian)

Natsuki Hanae, who plays Shen-Xian, became widely known for his role as the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. While he is strongly associated with Demon Slayer, he has also played a variety of roles in many other works. Comparing the voices of the characters Hanae has voiced, one can sense elements of Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist of Demon Slayer, and some people even feel as if "Tanjiro has changed his character." Despite sharing the same basic vocal quality, Kenji Nomura is able to create a variety of different atmospheres depending on the character he plays, making him a highly acclaimed voice actor.

Kenji Nomura (Void Volks)

Kenji Nomura voices the role of Void. In addition to anime, he has also dubbed numerous foreign films and TV dramas. Not only is he involved in a wide range of works, but he has also dubbed for a large number of actors. It is estimated that there are at least 10 actors who have been identified. He has a low baritone voice, and he often plays characters that make the most of that quality.
