ULTRAMAN is set in the world after Officer Hayata assimilated with Ultraman in Ultraman and saved the Earth. The main character is Hayata Shinjiro, the son of Officer Hayata. Having inherited the Ultraman gene, he dons an Ultraman-type suit and fights aliens for the sake of peace on Earth. This work is actually not just a story about defeating evil monsters like Ultraman. It has a fairly complex background, and there are many characters whose affiliation or enemy is still unclear. In this article, we will introduce Adado.
Who is Adado, the Scrudan Alien?
Overview
Adad is a Skruda alien. While his species is warlike, their physical abilities are significantly inferior to those of other species. Adad has been genetically engineered, giving him a resilient physique. He was scouted by the Cluster Council and became a member of the organization, but the details of his scouting have yet to be revealed. He is an agent of the Immigration Control Bureau, which reports directly to the Cluster Council.
Model
Adado's face is clearly based on Dada. The pattern on its body likely originates from Dada's geometric design. The Three-Faced Monster Dada possesses three different faces and can use them interchangeably. While it possesses a wide variety of psychic powers, it is extremely weak in hand-to-hand combat. It easily defeats Ultraman and even Earthlings. This is likely why the Skruda aliens are physically inferior to other species. Dada is a popular monster, appearing many times throughout the Ultra series, though its characteristics have changed. The extremely creepy face and geometrically shaped body were very striking.
The First Appearance of Adado, the Skullda Alien
Adado's first appearance was at a Sayama Rena concert. He appeared disguised as a villain to capture the mastermind behind a serial killer operation committed by her fans. His interests coincided with Bemular's, and they worked together. While fighting Dan Moroboshi, he pretended to attack Sayama Rena to lure out one of the killers, the Igaru Alien. After uncovering the truth of the incident, Adado kills the Igaru alien, saying that the aliens' problems are the ones who must take responsibility. He then reveals that he is an agent of the Cluster Council's Immigration Bureau. Upon hearing this, Moroboshi is unable to fight him.
Skulluda Alien Adado is Actually Kind
Although Adado is an agent of the Immigration Bureau, he also has a kind side, hiding illegal immigrants. He claims he does it to take advantage of them, but his conscience and nervousness are hard to hide. There's also a scene where he desperately protects them during the battle with the Lion Brothers. Even when he talks with Red and Jack through the portal, Adado exudes a certain elegance and kindness. I always thought he was born of good birth, but I never imagined he was a test subject...
Skulluda Alien Adado and the Cluster Council
What is the Cluster Council?
While this organization remains shrouded in mystery, it currently represents an alliance between planets with civilized species, including Earth, which has allowed Earth to remain peaceful even after Ultraman left. Meanwhile, the Cluster Council attempts to contact Earth seven years ago. Its chairman is Ubaras. Currently, a dimensional rift has opened in the universe due to the explosion of the artificial sun created by the Ultramen. They are searching for a process to repair the rift, but if they are unable to do so, the Cluster Council plans to use Earth as a mothership to migrate to another dimension. But what does his confrontation with Ultraman Bemular mean? Is everything the Cluster Council is saying true? Future story developments are intriguing.
Adad Betrays the Cluster Council
Adad begins to have doubts about the Cluster Council. He betrays them by teleporting the Dark Star through a portal. This leads to a major battle with the Dark Star in New York. He tells Red that it's a clue to finding Jack, but perhaps it was actually a way to learn about the Cluster Council's movements. He later recruits Kotaro, but the Dark Star incident exposes his betrayal to the Cluster Council, forcing him to fight the Lion Brothers.
The Transformation of Adado, the Skullda Alien
Genetically engineered, Adado can transform using drugs. He first showed this transformation during his battle with the Lion Brothers. Using drugs increases his resilience, enlarges his body, and boosts his speed and strength. Because he was a test subject for combat, he believes that if he fights for his fellow countrymen and loses, his purpose in life will be lost.
The Final Words of Adado, the Skullda Alien
The Cluster Council remains shrouded in mystery. Adado, a member of the council, begins to question his owner and betrays him. Why is Bemular (Ultraman) confronting the Cluster Council? What is the truth behind the assassination of a key figure's family that started it all? Could Adado really be a key figure in this story?!
