Have you heard of "Tama & Friends," the cute characters that have a certain Showa-era feel to them? They're adorable dog and cat characters that everyone has probably seen at least once. He has appeared in some very well-known productions, including Shiki Theatre Company's "The Lion King," and it was after dubbing the role of Harry in "Harry Potter" that he began to consider a career as a voice actor. Harry is a memorable character!

He's also in the "Shibuya Division" with Soma Saito, and plays the leader, Ramuda Amemura. His cute, slightly sarcastic, and pop-infused rap is truly memorable! His other roles include Naruko Io in "Binan Koukou Chikyu Boeibu LOVE!" and Nikaido Yamato in "Idolish Seven." Looking at it this way, it seems surprising that he would play a girly character like Ranmu. Apparently, when he was chosen for the role, he was so surprised he even listened to the voice twice! Yusuke Shirai was born on January 18, 1986, in Nagano Prefecture. His first main character role was as Naruko Io in "Binan Koukou Chikyu Boeibu LOVE!"
