"The Vampire Dies in No Time" is a comedy manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion that will be adapted into an anime in October 2021! It is a story about Draluc, an immortal, shitty vampire who dies quickly, and Ronald, a vampire slayer, along with the many perverts with unique sexual proclivities who surround the two. Today, we would like to introduce the episode in which the main characters of "The Vampire Dies in No Time" make their first appearance, with spoilers!

Draluc & Ronald, 1st Death, The Exterminator Comes and Leaps in the Sky

Ronald

After receiving a request that a child had been kidnapped, Ronald, a vampire exterminator, headed to the castle of Draluc, the true ancestor and feared as invincible, but the moment he opened the door to the castle, he crushed Draluc by getting him stuck in the door. Draluc was not the strongest vampire, but a shitty vampire who would die just by being stuck in a door. Draluc was showing off to the tour bus guide and saying something random, which spread and was even used to revitalize the town, so it was difficult for him to say anything. The child was just playing and entering without permission.

Draluc Castle Collapse

Castle Collapse

The child was a damn cheeky scooter kid, but he was quite good and couldn't be caught. Draluc tried to catch Ronald in a trap, but it didn't work, and the castle trap went out of control. The three barely escaped, but Draluc Castle collapsed. As the morning sun rose, Draluc was exposed to sunlight and turned to ash, and the ruins of Draluc Castle became a new tourist attraction.

Draluc is this kind of character!

One of the main characters. A vampire of a famous lineage from Transylvania. However, because he was spoiled growing up, he has no fighting ability and is not good at transforming. He is a crappy vampire who dies easily from the slightest thing, but he is also quick to revive. After years of reclusive living, his gaming and cooking skills are at professional level.

This is what Ronald is like!

One of the main characters. A skilled vampire slayer with excellent gun skills. He is very strong in a fair fight, but since there are very few decent people in this game, he often ends up resolving things with his fists. He has published an autobiography called Ronald War Chronicles, which has sold quite well, but he is always rushing to meet deadlines. He hates celery.

John, the 3rd Death, Obsession, Amoeba, Armadillo

John

Ronald was in a terrible mood because he ended up teaming up with the vampire Draluc and he ended up staying at the office. Draluc also brought a lot of things to the office, including John the armadillo. Ronald tried to protect John because he was being treated badly, but then a client came.

Enlarged Slamidro

Slamidro

In the culvert that the client was guided to, an enlarged Slamidro, a lower vampire with an amoeba-like appearance, was found. He immediately tried to exterminate it, but the client stopped him and blamed Ronald. In fact, the enlarged Slamidro was kept by the client, but he couldn't keep it and let it go. Hanako the Slamidro swallows the client and uses the client's mouth to vent her complaints like a mentally unstable girlfriend. She also swallows John and Draluc, but in the end she has no intention of killing the client and releases them, and goes home with the client again.

John is this kind of character!

An armadillo familiar to Draluc. Draluc met him when he went on a trip to South America with his clan, and after various events he became Draluc's familiar. Although he can only speak wildebeest, he understands human language and has a very kind personality. Later, a group of people will be born to worship him as a mascot character. His real name is "Joker Ball Tamao Marske Orichalcum Z Guardian", or "John O. Guardian" for short. His name is a combination of all the names the clan randomly gave him.

Fukuma 4th Death Attack!! Fukuma-san

Fukuma-san

Ronald, a best-selling novelist, is reminded by a phone call from his editor, Fukuma, that today was the deadline for the manuscript for the second volume. Fukuma is a skilled and strong-armed editor who uses the Nanto Battle Axe Fist and uses a battle axe as his weapon. Even Ronald is no match for him in terms of force, and he will do anything to make sure the deadline is met. Ronald tries to flee the country, but the elusive Fukuma quickly attacks his office in Shin-Yokohama from Tokyo. His resistance is futile, and Ronald is put inside the Iron Maiden that Fukuma brought with him and forced to work on it until he finishes writing.

Here's Fukuma!

He's a skilled and strong-armed editor who works at Autumn Bookstore. He's a gentle man with glasses who is usually gentle, but due to his ruthless fighting ability, which is one of the strongest in the series, he won't hesitate to use violent means to meet deadlines, and Ronald fears him more than anything. He has mastered the Nanto Editing Battle Axe Fist, and his weapon is a battle axe. He can bend space, which allows him to travel long distances in an instant. He loves cats, and takes in Bosatsu, a vampire cat that's causing chaos in the office, but the cat he takes in has dark eyes.

Hinaichi 6th Death Can you kill him by hitting the wall?

Hinaichi

Hinaichi from the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Vampire Countermeasures Division comes to the office. Since it seems like it's going to be troublesome, Ronald tries to kill Draluc and cover it up. However, even though he usually dies without doing anything, this time he doesn't die easily. In the end, Draluc appears, but he immediately speaks to Hinaichi with nasty words, and Hinaichi, who has no resistance, runs away and becomes more wary of Draluc. After that, he proposes to his boss that he investigate and monitor Draluc.

This is what Hinaichi is like!

A young but talented special combatant working for the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Vampire Countermeasures Division. He was expected to be a rising star, but he is wary of the shitty vampire Draluc and volunteers for an investigation mission. The misunderstanding is quickly cleared up and he feels embarrassed, but for some reason he is ordered to continue watching Draluc. After that, he creates a secret base under the floor of the office to keep watch, but he has a habit of being attracted to sweets. Also, the hypnosis of the Y-talk uncle who appears later on has traumatized him, and when he is mentally cornered, he starts saying the word penis. He is worried about being a nichichi.

Handa Momo, 14th Death, The Man's Name is Handa

Handa Momo

Handa Momo, a dhampir working in the Vampire Countermeasures Division, comes to the office. Handa has always had a rivalry with Ronald, and recently his beloved mother became a big fan of Ronald's books, further accelerating his hatred. Handa asks Draluc about Ronald's weaknesses, but it's no use because Handa himself is as knowledgeable about Ronald as a stalker. In order to get a hold of Ronald's weaknesses, Draluc and Handa try to sneakily check the contents of the closet when Ronald is not looking. However, Ronald notices this and tries to stop Handa, but it is too late. In the closet, Handa finds fan letters from his mother, and when Handa sees them filled with heart marks, he bursts into tears of blood, breaks the window, and jumps off.

Handa Momo is this kind of character!

She is a dhampir (half human, half vampire) who works at the Kanagawa Prefecture Vampire Countermeasures Division and has been a classmate of Ronald since high school. She has had a rivalry with Ronald since long ago, and recently her beloved mother became so obsessed with Ronald War Chronicles that she became such an avid fan that she bought all the merchandise, which has further fueled her hatred, and she has been harassing Ronald in various ways. The usual punchline is that her harassment goes too far and causes a big problem, and she breaks through the window and is blown away. She is very good at her job.

【The Vampire Dies in No Time】Summary of spoilers for the first appearance of the main characters

I've put together a list of episodes where the main characters from "The Vampire Dies in No Time" first appear. There are a lot of characters in The Vampire Dies in No Time, but most of them are disposable characters who only appear once or twice, and they are perverts and hilarious. It's a gag manga where anything goes, which is rare these days, so I think it will be a funny anime! The anime will start airing in October 2021, so be sure to watch it!
