In the end, Hendrickson finds himself at the mercy of Fraudrin. His quest to steal Meliodas's broken sword and Elizabeth, both of which are necessary to revive the Demon Clan (the Ten Commandments), is taking him down a dangerous path. Hendrickson was thought to have been defeated by Meliodas, but in fact, he was still alive, albeit on the brink of death. Just as Hendrickson prepares to die, Dreyfus appears and saves him by giving him his blood to drink, and entrusts him with the "Coffin of Eternal Darkness" and "Blood of the Goddess's Apostle," which hold the keys to the revival of the Demon Clan (the Ten Commandments).

Gilthunder and the others now know the whole truth, and the mystery of their uneasy feelings toward Dreyfus is resolved. Hendrickson then joins the Seven Deadly Sins in the fight against the Ten Commandments.
