From the first time they met, Yotsuba has treated Fuutarou equally, and out of the five sisters, she has been the most cooperative with him from the beginning, making her a strong ally. However, she is so stupid that everyone acknowledges she is not very smart, and out of the five sisters, she is the most problematic when it comes to studying. In this article, we will explore the charm of this silly but well-behaved girl!
Yotsuba's charm point is the big ribbon on her head

Even though she has a charm point, her very existence is a charm point, but the most distinctive feature is the big ribbon that she wears like bunny ears! She always wears it, so it's such an important charm point that you wouldn't know who she is without it.
Super rare? Yotsuba without her ribbon!

Even after doing some research, I couldn't find a scene where Yotsuba has her ribbon removed. Among them, I found this scene! It's a scene where she goes to a spa during a date with Futaro, and her ribbon is clearly removed. But if you take off the ribbon... it somehow loses half of its Yotsuba-ness (lol). It looks like a minor character.
Yotsuba is super close on their first meeting

The innocent and pure Yotsuba sometimes acts without any thought, and this time she just picked up Futaro's exam paper and returned it. However, when Fuutarou was deep in thought and didn't get a reply, she moved closer and closer, and before she knew it, she was extremely close. Fuutarou was so surprised by how close they were that he leaned back, but Yotsuba continued to look at him with a mischievous smile.

Other sisters would be too embarrassed to get their faces this close, but that doesn't apply to Yotsuba, who has a habit of acting before thinking. Of all the scenes, the most "I did it" was the kiss on the cheek! It was the scene where Yotsuba took the cream off Fuutarou's cheek with her mouth.
Even Yotsuba seems to have become aware of this...

Usually, they would have laughed it off, but this time, it was a public kiss with all the sisters watching. Even Yotsuba, as expected, realized what she had done and started making a harsh excuse that it was to thank her tutor... And Miku was watching them with a particularly critical eye. Miku considered Ichika and others to be rivals, but since Yotsuba was off her radar, she gave him a murderous look.
Even Fuutarou was surprised by Yotsuba's perfect blow!

This scene is a must-see when talking about Yotsuba. Yotsuba cheerfully and playfully says that everyone around her has changed but she's the only one who hasn't grown, but Fuutarou says that's not true and starts praising her. Then Yotsuba stands there with her mouth slightly open. She then asks Fuutarou why she's on his side, to which he responds, "Because you want to improve your grades, right?" to which she replies, "No, it's because I like you."
Joke? Seriously? The words that came out of Yotsuba's mouth were "Lies"

Futaro was flustered by Yotsuba's sudden confession. Then Yotsuba looked into Futaro's face, smiled mischievously, and said just one word: "Lies." However, as we all know, Yotsuba has a serious and honest personality. She's not the type of girl to lie, even as a joke. So maybe this "lie" was just her way of hiding her embarrassment...? Afterwards, Yotsuba seemed pleased that she'd managed to fool Fuutaro.

Futaro, who was ordered by Raiha to go on a date with Yotsuba, who had been so kind to him, went to lunch, a beauty salon, a movie, and shopping. Before he knew it, he and Futaro were touring the places the other sisters liked as a date course. When asked again, "What do you want?", Yotsuba looks troubled. It seems that she is always thinking about her sisters and doesn't know what she wants.

At the end of their date, the two of them go to the park and swing on the swing. Yotsuba says she loves the night view from there. And then she jumps high! When she challenges Fuutarou to see if he can jump that high, Fuutarou also takes a big jump...or so you'd think, but it's only her shoes that fly off, and Fuutarou just spins around on the swing. After a moment of stunned silence, when she sees Fuutarou laughing out loud, it seems like she got what she wanted.
What's wrong!? Yotsuba glares at her friend with a demonic expression!?

Yotsuba is too kind and agrees to anything that is asked of her. Her personality becomes a hindrance, and she is asked to help out the track and field club when she should be studying for exams. She really wants to refuse, but she can't. Instead of Yotsuba, it was Nino who refused the offer of help. Nino is probably the only one out of the five sisters who can make eyes like that (lol).
Yotsuba was a total idiot. But the effort pays off...

The cheerful Yotsuba is full of energy even when she gets zero points on her tests! That's a problem in itself, but... anyway, before Futaro became her tutor, Yotsuba was getting a constant stream of zero points like this. However, thanks to Futaro and Yotsuba's efforts, the results are gradually beginning to show.

Yotsuba is always smiling and sometimes panicking, but she rarely shows tears or weakness. However, when she avoided failing the test, big tears started falling from Yotsuba's eyes and she confessed her feelings, saying, "For the first time, I feel like I've been rewarded." Watching this scene, you can see that Yotsuba was also struggling a lot behind her smile.

Although there was no quota, Fuutarou realized that he couldn't avoid all of them failing the exam, so he told the five sisters' father that he was quitting his job as a tutor. The five heard about this from Ebata-san, who works for the Nakano family. After seeing Fuutarou's final letter, the five sisters were the first to say that they still wanted Fuutarou to help them with their studies.
Yotsuba apologizes dynamically when she causes trouble

Yotsuba, who caused trouble for Fuutarou and his sisters by balancing her studies with the track and field club, decided to apologize to everyone, but the way she apologized was incredibly dynamic! It was called kneeling!! However, despite Yotsuba apologizing in her own difficult terms, everyone ignored her. When she reluctantly asked to hear the apology herself, no one was angry, and instead they got angry and asked her how long she was going to keep doing that.
Yotsuba is not completely opposed to being mistaken for a couple with Fuutarou

Fuutarou and Yotsuba went shopping on a date on Labor Thanksgiving Day. While they were shopping, a store clerk suggested to them, "How about wearing matching outfits with your boyfriend?" Yotsuba seems a little flustered when people mistake Fuutarou for her boyfriend. But after thinking for a moment, she smiles and teases Fuutarou to hide her embarrassment.

One of the reasons why Yotsuba is popular is her mischievous side, but the scene where she shows her mischievous smile is the best! At first, Yotsuba joked about being called a couple to hide her embarrassment, but then she excitedly asked Fuutarou if he wanted to try wearing matching outfits. Her expression at this moment was irresistible!
Yotsuba is hopelessly bad at lying

Futaro is unable to move due to the pain he felt after eating a large amount of Miku's special black croquettes. While he is lying down to rest, Nino and Itsuki appear and decide to go to lunch instead of studying. Yotsuba tries to hold her back somehow. However, all she can come up with are lame lies...
Of course, this person will be playing the energetic Yotsuba!

The voice actress for Yotsuba is Ayaneru, also known as Sakura Ayane! Actually, the Quintessential Quintuplets has a 30-second voiceover commercial on YouTube, and in it, Sakura Ayane was the voice actress for all five sisters (lol). She used a variety of different voices to play the roles, but the one that suited her best was her usual energetic Yotsuba! I think it was a fitting casting!
Energetic Yotsuba Summary

Yotsuba is a super energetic character who cheers you up just by looking at her. She is sometimes the most foolish of the sisters, but that is also what makes her cute. However, she is a charming character who sometimes worries about various things and acts her age. To get a good idea of what the anime will be like, check out the 30-second commercial featuring Sakura Ayane!
