A Surprisingly Little-Known Secret
Did you know that the identification numbers on Emma and the other girls' necks follow a pattern? Emma's is 63194, Norman's is 22194, and Ray's is 81194. At first glance, they seem all different, but the last three digits are the same. Read backwards, perhaps this indicates their birth order. Isabella's is 73584, a number that dates back quite a while. Gilda, who is younger than Emma, is 65194, which also follows the pattern. Read backwards, you'll see that her number is later than Emma and the others'. Also, in the flashback to Ray's baby days, if you read the text backwards, you'll see that the baby is the one who is the most different from Ray.
