The Promised Neverland is a hugely popular series currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The story revolves around children growing up in an orphanage who discover they are being raised to feed demons, and so they attempt to escape to the human world. The anime adaptation has finally started! It's incredibly entertaining, and the direction is incredibly solid! Among the main characters, we'd like to introduce you to Norman, who truly demonstrates his genius.

Emma, Norman, and Ray all achieved perfect scores on the GF Farm tests. Among them, Norman is the most intelligent. He is 11 years old at the beginning of the story. He has a kind personality and is sometimes envious of Emma's. Norman has an identification number, 22194, tattooed on the back of his neck. Until the incident with Connie, Norman and his family at the orphanage seemed to be looking forward to being picked up from the outside world. However, after learning of their situation, he uses all his intelligence to try and escape.
