Ema and Sonju went outside to ask for help in killing animals. Sonju said he would perform a ritual (Gupna) on the bird he had successfully killed. It was a traditional demon ritual that also involved draining the blood. The act of sticking a blood-sucking plant called Vida into the chest of the victim signifies offering food to God. It is said that when the flower blooms, God accepts the food. This plant was also found stuck in Connie's corpse. It was a scene that made us think about the preciousness of life, as the victim makes the flowers bloom on his prey while thinking of his family who died despite wanting to live, and praying for a peaceful end.
