The Promised Neverland is a hugely popular series currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump that will be adapted into an anime in January 2019. The story is about children who are farmed as food for demons in the demon world, and who go on an adventure to change the world. This story is quite complicated, with many hints. And while the world is full of brilliant people, one girl named Gilda is actually very smart. Today we would like to introduce Gilda.

What are Gilda and Don like?

When the story begins, Gilda is 10 years old. The number 65194 is carved on her neck. She is 138cm tall. She is a fashion-conscious girl with glasses and a bob haircut, and although the main characters Emma, Norman, and Ray tend to be the focus of attention, Gilda is also an honor student. In her first appearance, she seems to be taking good care of the younger students as if she is scolding them. She has sharp observation skills and seems to have noticed something strange about Emma and the others. She originally longed for the outside world and is envious of the people from the plantation who she believes have actually gone outside. Above all, she seems to be disgusted by the all-white clothing.

Don

The playful Don is a lively and cheerful 10-year-old boy. He is 155cm tall. He has the number 16194 on his neck. He is not a strategist like Norman or Ray, but rather like Emma, he is the type who pushes forward while showing his emotions. He is basically a positive thinker. In terms of insight, I have to say that he is inferior to Emma and the others. However, compared to a normal 10-year-old, he still seems to be excellent. Like Gilda, he values his family very much.

What are Gilda and Don's grades?

What is Gilda's grades like? Apart from the perfect scores of Emma, Ray, and Norman, Don, Gilda, and Phil are also praised for their improved grades. In the conversation scene where they are trying to find out who the traitor is, it is revealed that Phil's average score is just over 203, but Don and Gilda's scores are unknown. However, when Connie is shipped out, Gilda and Don's scores are actually on the demon shipping list. Looking at them, they are 205, 231, 2?? They seem to be quite good after all. Don is probably below them. Don is the only one who is 10 years old. His scores are 198, 228, 1?? He is also good.

What will Gilda and Don do when they hear the truth about the plantation?

Gilda noticed that something was wrong with Emma and the others. Together with Don, the children in the house are being trafficked. He told her to escape together to save Connie. That's right. At first, when he told her about the escape plan, he hid some information. It was an act of kindness on the part of Emma and her friends, but it would later lead to an argument with Don when he found out the truth. Don laughs, thinking it was a joke. However, Gilda seems to believe it right away. And most importantly, Emma and her friends would never tell such a lie. They are a family with an incredible bond of trust.

Emma and the others were searching for a traitor. They noticed Gilda walking from her bed to Sister Krone. Emma wondered if Gilda was the traitor. However, Emma, who eavesdropped on the conversation, was relieved to find out that Gilda was not the traitor. When Gilda came out of the room, Emma hugged her and said she was sorry for doubting her. Like Krone's hint, it was a thrilling and suspenseful scene. In fact, during the game of tag, Krone, along with Emma and Norman and Ray, felt that Gilda had something impressive to offer. However, she didn't seem to show any interest in Don. Is Krone just stupid, or is Don not that outstanding? We'll never find out.

After learning of the existence of a secret room that they were unaware of, Gilda and Don steal the key from Mama and enter the room. All they find there is a means of communication with the outside world and the personal belongings of the family that left. From there, the two realize that Connie and the others are already dead. As expected, they are two excellent guys, no matter what. Don feels helpless at the kindness of Emma and the others, who had hidden the truth from them. After this, he hits Norman and Ray, and cries and asks Emma to trust him. Both Gilda and Don understand the kindness of Emma and the others, but they feel helpless and want them to rely on them. It was a very moving scene.

Emma and Ray pretended to give up after Norman was shipped out, but Mama kept a strict watch over them. They left all the training and preparations to Don and Gilda. Don and Gilda were there when I told Phil that I would be leaving them behind this time because I would bring back all the children under the age of four within two years. After all, I trust them after all. They are good brothers.

The two escaped safely. The two of them had been taking care of the children at the shelter, but had taken a complete break from Secret Garden. It even felt nostalgic to see them again after such a long time. They go in search of the Dragon's Eye in Kvitidara. Just when people were wondering who would go, along with Emma and Ray, Gilda and Don are named. It must have been very painful for them to just wait. They break down in tears just to be able to stand next to them. That's right, as more and more of their friends join the group, both Gilda and Don are desperate to secure their place in the group.

Just as Ray and Emma basically move together, Gilda and Don also basically move together. If the story ends with a happy ending, I hope they will fall in love. GF Farm is the highest quality farm, and they have the highest quality brains. However, the children outside of the GF farm are also showing great talent, so it will be interesting to see how much Don and Gilda will be involved in the story in the future!
