The Promised Neverland. In the manga, Emma and Ray finally reach the entrance to cross the seven walls to meet that one. Don and Gilda will probably go from here to look for Musica. So who exactly is that one? And what does that one mean? This time, we will consider that one, who is said to be the pinnacle of demons.

Volume 1, where that one first comes up in conversation

The highest-ranking Emma and others used in Tifari are described as that one's meal, and one of the demons, along with Vida, says to pray to that one.

Prayers are offered to God

Prayer

Who do we pray to in our daily lives? Perhaps to a person who is at the top of religious concepts such as Buddha or God, or someone who is higher than ourselves? In other words, it can be inferred that these demons regard that person's existence as higher than themselves in religious concepts.

I think it's Vida...

offering

Gupna that Songju taught to Emma. Offer victory to God. The flower that God accepts will bloom, and then you can eat the meat. In other words, it has the meaning of an offering to God.

That person and the god Songju speaks of are different

All

That person is already an enemy of the edible children, Songju says. In other words, the god Songju speaks of is not that person. Songju's faith is the original faith. The god in the original faith exists or existed separately. However, many demons still perform Gupna. They worship that person.

The demons changed because of the promise

Original Faith

Songju distorted faith and society through the promise. And that promise cannot be broken by demons, only humans can. And so far, the only demon who hates this promise is Songju, an original believer. In other words, the original believers worship God, and the demons in the society that has changed because of the promise worship that person. In other words, it can be interpreted that that person has come to be worshiped because of the promise.

Hints about that person

Information left by Minerva

The pinnacle of all demons

From the hints left by Minerva, it is shown that that person is the pinnacle of all demons. This information about the Ratori family is from after the promise was made. In other words, it confirms that that person has been absolutely worshiped since the promise.

The first time I met him was at the ruins of Quivididara

Eye of the Dragon

I visited the ruins of Quivididara in search of the Eye of the Dragon. Now there are no worshippers. That's where I met him. He is described as a little demon? It is said that the ruins of Quivididara were once a special place where you could see anything or anyone you wanted. But now you can't see anything. And from the past scene that Emma saw, we know that the promise was made here, and that it was the Latri family. Paradoxically, we can see that even before the promise was made, the creature called the dragon was a sacred being.

Statues that look like that person from the six towers

Like that person

After seeing the ceiling paintings of the six towers, we arrived at the entrance where that person is said to be. So, is it that person who was enshrined here? Emma says that it looks like him. There is a faceless statue. It does not have the dragon's eyes.

Statues with Vida in the six towers

Female statue

Before seeing the statue that is said to resemble that person, Ray saw a statue holding a child, with Vida offered to it. The statue that looked like that person did not have Vida. The eyes are also made to look more like a demon.

Emma and the others eat His meal

Tifari

It is said that Emma, Ray, and Norman cannot eat His meal or even the king.

What is God? Who is He?

Guess from hints

That person is the enemy

The one who was considered to be God before the promise was made was probably the God that Songju spoke of. However, due to some promise, worship was directed from God to that person, and that person is now the enemy of the edible children. The current demon society has been distorted by that promise. And in the scenes up to now, the only demons who have performed Gupna and are able to perform it are human-shaped. And in the six towers, there is a statue that resembles that person and a statue that resembles a demon, and Vida was only equipped with a statue that resembles a demon. Emma has not seen that statue. Thinking about it from that perspective, perhaps that person became someone who was once considered a god. Since that person is depicted as the enemy of the edible children, perhaps he ate humans or became assimilated with humans at the time of the promise? For this reason, the statues that resemble him have nothing drawn on their faces, but the statues of that person who ate humans or became assimilated with them are depicted more like demons, and have Vida placed on them, which signifies an offering to god. Why did he eat or assimilate humans? I will write about that in a separate article. Incidentally, I believe that gods created demons. For my theory on this, please refer to the article below.

Thinking about the definition of that person

think

The first promise separated the world of demons and humans. And the other promise remains a mystery. I consider the definition of that person to be "the one who weaves promises." In other words, if a new promise is made, a new "one who weaves promises" will appear. What Songju once called a god ate or assimilated a human through a promise, and became that person, who is now worshiped by the demons. If Emma and the others make a new promise in the future, a new "promise weaver" will be created, and I think that he will continue to exist behind the seven doors until he makes a new promise again.

Reasons for thinking he is a promise weaver

That Person

How that person is written. Many people have written many speculations, but I think it is a hieroglyph. Should we say that it is a condition for the promise weaver to make a new promise? The bar at the top indicates the entrance, and indicates that once you enter, you cannot get out. And the ball is the dragon's eye that has appeared many times. Or the eye that appeared at the GF Farm that you entered through the entrance. The rest are that person, Emma, Ray, and Norman. If these four people can go through the seven doors, they can make a new promise. And by assimilating, the four people will continue to exist as new "promise weavers" until the next promise. Promised Neverland may not be a world where people cannot become adults because of promises, but a world where promises never end.

See below for an article on the seven doors.

Another promise that we still don't know

What we don't know is the other promise. I think it's something like you have to assimilate with God in order to make a new promise. There are still not enough hints.
