Episode 7 of The Promised Neverland has been released! It turns out that the sisters were also livestock! The story is sure to accelerate from here!
The sisters' characters are so well-defined in each episode! By the way, dolls don't appear in the original manga.
Anime Episode 7 Title
The title "011145" continues to represent the date. In the original manga, it's clearly stated that this was the day Mama received her package. The envelope was sent from headquarters to Sister Krone. The package also appears to contain an instant camera, a reward for spying on Ray.
Anime Episode 7: After All, Adults Can't Be Killed
Norman's Muttering
In the scene where Krone offers cooperation, Krone shows the identification number painted on her neck, indicating that she grew up on the farm. She then explains that adults are microchipped and cannot leave the farm, and that if an adult dies, a notification will be sent to headquarters. Norman then says, "After all, adults can't be killed." This "after all" part reveals that Norman was planning to kill an adult. When exactly will this happen?
The Tag Scene
This scene was cut from the anime, but after escaping a game of tag with Krone, Norman declares that it's not impossible to kill her. In the anime, scenes featuring Norman appearing evil are usually cut.
Anime Episode 7: Summary of Krone and the Children's Relationship
Since we got a lot of information in the anime, let's briefly summarize it.
First of all, the premise is that Krone wants to be a mother, and the children want to escape. It's not that Krone doesn't want to ship the children, but rather that she can't. There's no evidence. There's no authority. This is because Mama is more trusted. On the surface, she says that if the children escape, she will blame Mama for her failure and become Mama herself, but her real goal is to get evidence of the escape and ship the children, including Mama Isabella, and then become Mama herself. In response, Norman and the others decide to cooperate, even after learning Krone's true intentions, on the condition that they will gain information and not have to worry about Krone when scouting the area. Norman cooperates even after learning Krone's true intentions, and deep down Krone knows that Norman agreed to cooperate in order to outwit her, even knowing her true intentions.
Anime Episode 7: That Person
The word "that person" has appeared before. It also appears in Isabella's work. In fact, in the anime, "that person" is written like this. I didn't know how to pronounce it. There's also a lot of speculation about the characters for "that person." Details here could lead to spoilers, so if you're interested, please look it up. Personally, it just doesn't look like hieroglyphics to me. Incidentally, this mystery hasn't been solved in the original work yet.
What Isabella Taught Us in Episode 7 of the Anime
Isabella teaches us a lot of things. Here's a quick summary:
- This is Plant 3 (there's headquarters and at least two other plants).
- Adults can be microchipped.
- Girls can survive past the age of 12 if they have good grades and are recommended by their mother.
- There are scalpels and medicines in the infirmary.
- It's been confirmed that the transmitter only reveals the current location and cannot identify individuals.
- There are living, untouched humans out there.
It's simple, but that's all!
I'm already looking forward to Episode 7 of The Promised Neverland!
