The reason why demons eat humans has finally been revealed in the latest Jump chapter! It wasn't a very popular topic, but as I previously speculated, it seems that demons evolve into different forms depending on what they eat. Just to be sure, I've included a link to the previous article. This episode really accelerated the story, but I don't think Ema will completely agree with what Norman said. I'll briefly consider this point as well.
Reasons for Eating Humans and the Meaning of Neverland ①

As I previously wrote, there is a painting in Kvitidala that evokes evolution. Indeed, there is a painting that makes it clear that demons like this existed. Since there are Xs under the insects, mammal-like animals, and snakes, perhaps they are extinct? There are also demons that appear to have evolved from fish. One thing that bothers me here is the picture in the middle, which appears to represent evolution. Isn't this a human? So what does the picture on the top row refer to? If the two-speed walking picture on the top row represents a demon, does that mean that they took on this form by eating humans? Indeed, all the nobles were humanoid. There were also insect-like demons in the forest. This probably represents what each demon ate to achieve their current form. That's what he said. And in the latest episode, Norman's explanation was almost the same. The difference is that because demons have evolved so rapidly, the ecosystem is still uncertain and susceptible to influences, so humanoid demons cannot maintain their bodies unless they continue to eat humans. In other words, if demons don't eat humans, they will become extinct. That's a little strange. Those that eat fish will survive if they continue to eat fish in the future. I'm not sure if this will be touched upon in the story, though.
The Reason for Eating Humans and the Meaning of Neverland Part 2
Neverland seems to refer to a world where people cannot become adults. Norman explains it using a phonetic spelling. Indeed, even though the word "promise" appears early on, I hadn't thought about Neverland at all. That makes sense, if you think about it logically.
Predictions for Future Developments

Norman is trying to start a war to eradicate the demons. I predict Emma will disagree. Instead of eradicating the demons, she will likely return to her original goal of renewing her promise to that person. This will create internal friction. I think this is how the story will unfold. Otherwise, there would be no point in meeting Muzaka and Sonju, and Muzaka's reason for not needing to eat humans would be completely irrelevant to the story. There's still a lot we don't know about demon reproduction, but as I wrote in my previous analysis, when Emma and her friends arrived in Kvitidala, they found a stone statue that appears to depict a female demon holding a child. No demons have yet appeared that are definitely female, and Muzaka is the only demon who could possibly be female. From the statue depicting a woman holding a child, we can infer that demons are overwhelmingly male, and that women can only be born under certain special circumstances. Perhaps this is why they are deified. Perhaps Muzaka knows something other demons don't, and that's why she has the demon's eye pendant. I also believe this is why Muzaka doesn't need to eat humans.
The Key is Yet Another Promise
Another promise plays a crucial role in future developments. Depending on the content of this promise, the story could go in a completely different direction. If the other promise were something as simple as helping the demons evolve, it would honestly make the story less interesting. For example, if the other promise with the demons were something like Raoh's request to exterminate them, that would also create a lot of contradictions. The story's outstanding quality lies in its solid story development, so I'm really looking forward to this other promise. By the way, perhaps because I'm too influenced by Hokuto, my limited brain is currently thinking that the demons want to teach them emotions like love. Does that really matter?
